Georgia case reopened after call

Atlanta Journal-Constitution, by Mike Morris

Milton police are reopening the investigation into last year’s death of a local concert hall owner following the recent arrest of a high-end call girl from metro Atlanta who California police said injected a Google executive with heroin and left him to die. Channel 2 Action News reported that the call girl, 2005 Northview High School graduate Alix Tichelman, was dating Dean Riopelle just before his death last September, and had been arrested two weeks before Riopelle died for biting the 53-year-old owner of Atlanta’s Masquerade concert venue. While news reports last fall indicated that Riopelle died of an apparent heart attack,

I wondered earlier how long it would take for them to reopen this case.

How clever of her. Bites boyfriend Riopelle, he files complaint and she is arrested and charged. Several weeks later he dies of suspicious-sounding "heart attack".

Now the Google exec is offed with heroin overdose. What did he do to offend her? Try to cut off their "relationship"?

Riopelle was a real sicko, too. Googling his name will bring up a whole page on his fetishist musical group. She was probably one of his nude dancers?

Eventually the TRUTH comes out. It always does. The only question becomes “is anyone paying attention to it” ? Readers will note that since the word of the border crisis hit the media our research has indicated the entire construct of a humanitarian crisis for children is a ruse. There simply are not mass influxes of Unaccompanied Alien Children. For almost two months we have been repeating that it’s all a fraud – the influx is families, or more specifically women with children. There is no border crisis about unaccompanied alien children – period. Sure there are “some” unaccompanied minors, but no-where

U.S. spy agencies have begun to see groups of fighters abandoning al-Qaeda affiliates in Yemen and Africa to join the rival Islamist organization that has seized territory in Iraq and Syria and been targeted in American airstrikes, U.S. officials said. The movements are seen by U.S. counterterrorism analysts as a worrisome indication of the expanding appeal of a group known as the Islamic State that has overwhelmed military forces in the region and may now see itself in direct conflict with the United States. “Small groups from a number of al-Qaeda affiliates have defected to ISIS,” as the group is also known,

CAIRO - Eleven "extremists" were killed on Friday in a wide-scale security crackdown on Sinai, state-run MENA agency reported. Three tunnels were also demolished and one SUV vehicle was confiscated in the security campaign to "clear" areas of Al-Arish and Sheikh Zuweid of terrorists, the source added. Army and police forces have been cracking down on extremists and militants that have been targeting security elements and installations in Sinai since the ouster of former President Mohamed Mursi in July 2013.

There’s actually two parts to this interview – the interview as reported - and the opinion piece from Friedman about the interview itself. Within the Times Article you find the footprints of a dejected President staring boldly into the face of his own failure and shortcomings: [...] “We’re not going to let them create some caliphate through Syria and Iraq,” the president said

President Obama touted the newly passed Veterans Affairs reform bill Thursday as he signed the measure into law and lamented the scandal that triggered it. But a review of records by Fox News shows the president – despite the urgency he placed publicly on the crisis – only met one-on-one with then-VA Secretary Eric Shinseki once during the scandal. The records, provided through a Freedom of Information Act request, showed they met on May 30, the day Shinseki resigned. VA records show Shinseki also attended Cabinet meetings on Jan. 14 and Jan. 22. The revelation comes as lawmakers, on the heels of passing the

The president is expected to return to the White House on Sunday, but officials won´t say why Obama is taking the unusual, and costly, trip back to Washington. He´s expected to return to Martha´s Vineyard, where he´s been vacationing, on Tuesday. Speculation has circled around whether Obama might make an announcement of executive actions he´s taking on immigration reform, or a surprise visit from a foreign leader. Overall, 70 percent of Apple employees are men as opposed to 30 percent women, and 55 percent are white, according to statistics provided by Apple. In addition, 15 percent of its overall workforce is Asian, 11 percent is Hispanic, and 7 percent is Black. She doesn’t name names there, but she’s been known to diverge from grassroots conservatives in these matters before. What would happen, though, if Boehner turned around and made a deal with Harry Reid on amnesty in September? California lawmakers are poised to enact a regulation requiring every college and university that receives public funding to define consensual sex in a way that attempts to micro-manage everyone’s sexual affairs. The first-in-the-nation legislation already passed California’s state Senate by a vote of 27-4 in May, The Associated Press reports. If the bill passes the assembly this month, it will then go to the desk of Gov. Jerry Brown. The bill, which is based on guidance from the Obama administration, requires an “affirmative consent standard” that school administrators would use to determine whether a sexual assault has occurred. Liberals like Chris Mooney of Mother Jones agree that today’s Republican party is “environmental[ly] retrograde,” but often acknowledge it wasn’t like that a few decades ago. For example, as Mooney noted in a Tuesday post, a GOP president, Richard Nixon, established the EPA. Mooney reports, however, that in the early 1990s the party as a whole grew distinctly more hostile towards environmentalism. He touches on several possible explanations, including a backlash against the newly elected vice president, Earth in the Balance author Al Gore, as well as a theory that after the Soviet Union collapsed, environmentalists succeeded Communists as major objects
