Pelosi: Dems Could Have Impeached
Bush But Didn´t For Good Of Country

Breitbart TV, by Pam Key

Thursday at her weekly briefing, House Minority Leader Rep Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) was asked why when she was Speaker of the House she did not move forward on the requests of her members to impeach then-President George W. Bush over the arguments his administration made for entering into war with Iraq in 2003. Pelosi accused Bush of being guilty of impeachable offense saying he "sent us into a war based on a false representation of the treat of weapons of mass destruction." But she added after the "shameful, irresponsible an wrong" attempted impeachment of President Bill Clinton she "did not want

Wrong. Congress bipartisanly agreed to send us into a war based on intelligence regarding the threat of weapons of mass destruction - all of which was reviewed by key members of both parties in Congress.

Obama shouldn´t be impeached, he should be tried for treason against the United States of America.

We invaded Iraq primarily because of almost a decade of Saddam Hussein ignoring the UN imposed provisions of the agreement to end hostilities in 1993. Primarily his flaunting of the no fly zones, continued harassment of the Kurds and aggression against allied observers (like launching SAMs at American aircraft monitoring the no fly zones.
WMD´s were a very minor paret of the argumenmade by theadministration for the invasion, its just the one that the left picked up on AFTER the war when none were found.

Remember, Ted Kennedy based his opposition to the resolution not on a belief that the weapons didn´t exist but on the very firm belief that they DID exist and would be used on both our troops and against Israel, and that Israel would then be goaded into a nuclear response.

Nasty Pelostomy must have slept through that speech.

I wonder if PelØsi even remotely remembers what it is like to tell the truth on anything??? I´m guessing after so many years of telling lie after lie, she probably doesn´t have a clue what telling the truth feels like any more...

Just a thinly-veiled attempt to discourage an impeachment effort. The left must be getting a bit worried.

The big difference with Clinton was that, while many were disgusted by Billy Jeff´s indiscretions and sexual conduct (whether it was really "sex" or not), they did not see a threat to the Constitution. Thus, they were lukewarm at best on impeachment.

The Emperor is in the process of consolidating his dictatorial power, is aggressively doing everything to weaken and undermine the nation, and is openly hostile to the limits dictated by the Constitution. That is why this is not the same as B.J. and Monica, and that is why the Emperor must be impeached - now.

For the good of the country.

IMO, it feels good to talk and think about impeaching the Kenyan, but it will go absolutely NOWHERE until both houses of Congress agree. Even when President Polk was impeached, he finished his term of office. In this case an impeachment would be a Vote of No Confidence. We´ve done everything but impeach. It´ll never fly.

He later admitted he had none, but couldn´t back down for fear of looking weak. JERUSALEM—A Hamas force wearing Israeli army uniforms emerged from a tunnel inside Israel this morning and inflicted losses on Israeli troops before being wiped out. The Hamas squad numbered at least 10 fighters, Israeli sources said. Nine were killed but an Israeli officer said at least two may have escaped through the tunnel. In initial accounts, which gave conflicting narratives, the Hamas force was said to have emerged from a hidden tunnel on the Israeli side of the border only 200 yards from a kibbutz, and split into two groups. Israeli soldiers whom one group encountered shortly afterwards reportedly took them to

The Progressive mantra of “diversity is our strength” is one of the most honored catchphrases of the left. Like all slogans, it is a test to see if common folk are “gun-toting, Bible-clinging” Neanderthals or are they part of the enlightened, educated elites to whom the rest of us must surrender our individual beliefs, opinions, and thoughts. But as with all that the Progressives say, the meaning of the words being used is warped and misrepresented. For example, think about what Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Shultz is saying in the following: Diversity on the bench is critical. As practitioners, you need judges who ´get it!´

But the rioting only paused; it didn’t cease. They say a prosecutor could get a grand jury to indict a ham sandwich, and this always seemed like hyperbole, until Friday night a Texas grand jury announced an indictment of governor Rick Perry. The “crime” for which Perry faces a sentence of 5 to 99 years in prison is vetoing funding for a state agency. The conventions of reporting — which treat the fact of an indictment as the primary news, and its merit as a secondary analytic question — make it difficult for people reading the news to grasp just how farfetched this indictment is. President Barack Obama is getting off the island. In a rare move for him, the president planned a break in the middle of his Martha´s Vineyard vacation to return to Washington on Sunday night for meetings with Vice President Joe Biden and other advisers on the U.S. military campaign in Iraq and tensions between police and protesters in Ferguson, Missouri. The White House has been cagey about why the president needs to be back in Washington for those discussions. He´s received multiple briefings on both issues while on vacation. The White House had also already announced Obama´s plans to return

A ?friend who is conservative and ?Jewish asks a question: “Given ?Obama’s hostile treatment of ?Israel, isn’t it time for Jews to have their Ronald Reagan moment?” By that, he means when the Gipper said, “I didn’t leave the Democratic Party. The party left me.” Without doubt, the party under Barack Obama has left those Jews who view Israel’s security as threatened. Obama recently told a New York Times interviewer, “Because Israel is so capable militarily, I don’t worry about Israel’s survival.” That’s shocking, considering Iran’s threat to wipe Israel off the map once it gets nukes. And even as Obama spoke, the

Attorney General Eric Holder has ordered a federal autopsy on the body of Michael Brown. Department of Justice spokesman Brian Fallon said it will be performed at the request of Brown´s family in addition to the one conducted by the state. Fallon also said that the Department of Justice will still take into account the state-performed autopsy during its civil rights investigation of Brown´s murder. Last week, Holder announced the federal probe following protests and outrage over the murder of the unarmed black teenager in Ferguson, Missouri. Since the murder, the town has erupted into multiple police clashes. Despite a

Historians will have the rest of the century to unravel the mess that is the Barack Obama presidency. While they can explore these years of foreign policy disaster and domestic malaise at leisure, the rest of us have 29 more months to see just how awful things can get before he slides off to a lucrative retirement. But those who want to start the post-mortem on this historic presidency would do well to read Jackson Diehl’s most recent Washington Post column in which he identifies Obama’s hubris as the key element in his undoing. As our Pete Wehner wrote earlier

McDonald’s has a problem. For the first time in 10 years, the company generated less revenue in a month than it did a year before, and it’s not a blip. The world’s biggest burger chain has been posting lagging results for some time, particularly in the United States. Blake Casper says he has a very good idea why. “Companies like Chipotle are doing a great job talking to people about healthy food, and they’re changing the dynamic of how people eat,” said Casper, who owns Tampa Bay’s largest McDonald’s franchise group with his sister Allison Casper Adams. “We embrace that

Montpelier, VT - Former Vermont U.S. Sen. James Jeffords, who in 2001 tipped control of the Senate when he quit the Republican Party to become an independent, died Monday. He was 80. Jeffords died in Washington, said Diane Derby, a former aide to Jeffords. He had been in declining health, she said. Jeffords had announced in 2005 that he would not seek a fourth term, citing his and his wife´s health problems. "I have had an enormously satisfying career, one that I would not have traded for any other," Jeffords said when he retired. "In no other job do you
