Pelosi: Dems Could Have Impeached

Breitbart TV, by Pam Key

Thursday at her weekly briefing, House Minority Leader Rep Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) was asked why when she was Speaker of the House she did not move forward on the requests of her members to impeach then-President George W. Bush over the arguments his administration made for entering into war with Iraq in 2003. Pelosi accused Bush of being guilty of impeachable offense saying he "sent us into a war based on a false representation of the treat of weapons of mass destruction." But she added after the "shameful, irresponsible an wrong" attempted impeachment of President Bill Clinton she "did not want

Wrong. Congress bipartisanly agreed to send us into a war based on intelligence regarding the threat of weapons of mass destruction - all of which was reviewed by key members of both parties in Congress.

GW Bush never did anything impeachable, unlike Obama.
Obama shouldn´t be impeached, he should be tried for treason against the United States of America.

We invaded Iraq primarily because of almost a decade of Saddam Hussein ignoring the UN imposed provisions of the agreement to end hostilities in 1993. Primarily his flaunting of the no fly zones, continued harassment of the Kurds and aggression against allied observers (like launching SAMs at American aircraft monitoring the no fly zones.
WMD´s were a very minor paret of the argumenmade by theadministration for the invasion, its just the one that the left picked up on AFTER the war when none were found.

Remember, Ted Kennedy based his opposition to the resolution not on a belief that the weapons didn´t exist but on the very firm belief that they DID exist and would be used on both our troops and against Israel, and that Israel would then be goaded into a nuclear response.

Nasty Pelostomy must have slept through that speech.

I wonder if PelØsi even remotely remembers what it is like to tell the truth on anything??? I´m guessing after so many years of telling lie after lie, she probably doesn´t have a clue what telling the truth feels like any more...

Just a thinly-veiled attempt to discourage an impeachment effort. The left must be getting a bit worried.

The big difference with Clinton was that, while many were disgusted by Billy Jeff´s indiscretions and sexual conduct (whether it was really "sex" or not), they did not see a threat to the Constitution. Thus, they were lukewarm at best on impeachment.

The Emperor is in the process of consolidating his dictatorial power, is aggressively doing everything to weaken and undermine the nation, and is openly hostile to the limits dictated by the Constitution. That is why this is not the same as B.J. and Monica, and that is why the Emperor must be impeached - now.

For the good of the country.

IMO, it feels good to talk and think about impeaching the Kenyan, but it will go absolutely NOWHERE until both houses of Congress agree. Even when President Polk was impeached, he finished his term of office. In this case an impeachment would be a Vote of No Confidence. We´ve done everything but impeach. It´ll never fly.

He later admitted he had none, but couldn´t back down for fear of looking weak. We’re sixty-three days out from the midterm elections, and by all appearances they will go well for the Republicans. Gains in the House and Senate are likely, with the majority in the Senate within reach. Pick-ups are likely at the state level as well—just as important, but frequently overlooked. So you can be relatively sure that on the night of November 4, there will a ton of backslapping and plenty of folks walking around with that winning glow. William Shakespeare knew a thing or two about human psychology. But he also understood a great deal about the body-politic and how small signs can be indicative of deeper traumas. So when Marcellus tells Horatio at the beginning of Hamlet that you can almost smell the weakness permeating Denmark, it’s Shakespeare’s way of telling us to pay attention to what sticks out as abnormal and to ask what else it may portend. It was difficult not to be reminded of this advice when reading that a majority of Germany’s Ethics Council recently called for the abolition of legal constraints upon incest.

Kansas Tea Party supporters are threatening to sit out the state’s pivotal Senate election, potentially dealing another blow to the reelection hopes of Sen. Pat Roberts (R-Kan.). Though schisms within the GOP base rarely have such an outsized impact on a general election contest, the lack of support from the conservative base could be devastating to the vulnerable Roberts’s chances against surging independent Greg Orman. Multiple sources tell The Hill that a group of Tea Party leaders in the state are meeting Wednesday to try to decide whether they should go to bat for the incumbent this fall or sit out of

Sacramento, Calif. - Gov. Jerry Brown on Tuesday signed legislation imposing the nation's first statewide ban on single-use plastic bags, driven to action by a buildup of litter and damage to aquatic ecosystems. A national coalition of plastic bag manufacturers immediately said it would seek a voter referendum to repeal the law, which is scheduled to take effect in July 2015. Under SB270, plastic bags will be phased out of large grocery stores starting next summer and convenience stores and pharmacies in 2016. The law allows grocers to charge a fee of at least 10 cents for using paper bags. State Sen. Alex Padilla, D-Los Angeles,

President Obama this week committed professional suicide. Let me explain. There is a theory in politics that once a leader has fired 50 or more people from his or her administration, he or she is finished. The reason being that by creating so many enemies ‘outside the tent’, the tent itself becomes too deluged with poisonous bile to avoid sinking into a quagmire of back-stabbing ignominy. Obama went a lot further than firing 50 people. He managed to single-handedly alienate 200,000 employees in the American intelligence agencies by going on 60 Minutes and ruthlessly chucking them all under a bus

Count House Speaker John Boehner as a fan of Jeb Bush for president. He also hasn´t spoken to Texas GOP Sen. Ted Cruz in two years. The driving issue of the 2016 election will be “competence,” and if former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush runs, “he’s got a real shot” at winning, the Ohio Republican told the Cincinnati Enquirer on Tuesday. Boehner applauded Bush’s ability to “talk about Republican issues better than most anybody that we’ve got out there,” approving of his “real record of reform” as Florida’s governor from 1999 to 2007. He also called potential candidates Ohio Gov. John

Alton Nolen´s mother and sister posted a video on Facebook where they apologized to the families of victims in Nolen´s alleged attack last Thursday in Moore, Oklahoma. The two women insisted that Nolen was acting outside of his character because he believed in God and was not a violent person. Nolen, whose Facebook page indicates that he recently converted to Islam, is accused of attacking co-workers Colleen Hufford and Traci Johnson after he was reportedly fired for "personnel issues" from a Vaughan Foods factory. He reportedly beheaded Hufford, 54, and stabbed Johnson, 43, multiple times before being shot by reserve police officer
