Bloomberg: Colorado Gun Recall Towns
So Rural, They Don’t Have Roads

Colorado Observer, by Valerie Richardson

DENVER — In what may come as a surprise to residents of Colorado Springs and Pueblo, former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg doesn’t think those cities have roads. Bloomberg told Rolling Stone that he was “sorry” about the recalls of two state senators last year over the Democratic state legislature’s gun-control laws, but added that their districts were so “rural” that, “I don’t think there’s roads.” “In Colorado, we got a law passed. The NRA went after two or three state senators in a part of Colorado where I don’t think there’s roads,” said Bloomberg in the interview published online Wednesday.

Comments:
Bloomie, do us a favor. Stay out of Colorado. You´re better off as the ignorant rat that you are.

Sadly, there are a fair share of "fruits and nuts" types of looney lie-berals in Colorado.

Bloomberg probably just offended most of them too.

Bloomberg illustrates the utter contempt liberals have for the middle of the country.

I´m surprised he didn´t say (1) the residents don´t own shoes, (2) they have hairy knuckles, and (3) their knuckles drag the ground.

I lived many lovely years in Colorado, and well I remember the disdain for NE "rulers" that imposed their values on the West. If you live in NYC or DC, no problem to drive gas prices up, they have mass transit, but out West people don´t have options, and their costs go up, but the NE greenies could feel better about themselves having ´improved the environment´ by taking food out of other people´s mouths. Jerks and egocentric fools, no wonder their self-elected king is Bloomberg. Alas doom hit Colorado when exCalifornios moved east and tilted it blue. People don´t realize they are carriers of the disease they are fleeing.

The price of beef and bacon hit its all-time high in the United States in June, according to data released Tuesday by the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS). In January 1980, when BLS started tracking the price of these commodities, ground chuck cost $1.82 per pound and bacon cost $1.45 per pound. By this June 2014, ground chuck cost $3.91 per pound and bacon cost $6.11 per pound. A decade ago, in June 2004, a pound of ground chuck cost $2.49, which means that the commodity has increased by 57 percent since then. Bacon has increased by 78.7 percent from

SALT LAKE CITY - FBI agents arrested two former Utah attorneys general at their homes on Tuesday and charged them pair with felonies stemming from a two-year investigation into claims of bribery and corruption, prosecutors said. Republicans John Swallow and Mark Shurtleff are accused of establishing a pay-to-play culture in office, and of taking bribes to look the other way or offer protection when donors to their political campaigns ran into legal trouble. "This has been a complex, nuanced, large investigation and there are multiple players in it," Salt Lake District Attorney Sim Gill said at a news conference.

It just seems that way after the Selective Service System mistakenly sent notices to more than 14,000 Pennsylvania men born between 1893 and 1897, ordering them to register for the nation´s military draft and warning that failure to do so is "punishable by a fine and imprisonment." A pernicious, little-known Obama administration policy – one that that incentivizes adult illegal immigrants to use children as human shields to escape arrest and deportation at the border – largely has escaped the media’s notice. This same policy is driving the historic surge of children at the border, as everyone from coyotes to illegal immigrant adults already in America seeks to use children to guarantee their safe passage into the country, or to protect them from deportation if they are illegally living here. The flood of illegal immigrant children, piling up like human debris on the US border, won’t stop

WASHINGTON —Polarization and partisanship are a plague on American politics. Political scientists have found that the two parties have each grown more ideologically homogeneous since the 1970s. The Senate hasn’t been so polarized since Reconstruction; the House has not been so divided since around 1900. As measured by laws passed, the current Congress is on track to be among the least productive in our republic’s history. How did this happen?
