On Wednesday´s Hannity on Fox News, conservative scholar and talk radio host Mark Levin said that formera Alaska Governor Sarah Palin was "exactly right" in her call for impeachment. Levin, who was the chief of staff to Attorney General Ed Meese in Ronald Reagan´s administration, said that if America is a "functioning Constitutional republic" with a President who "violates the separation of powers" and thumbs his nose at the court system and says he´s going to do more of it... she´s exactly right." "This would be an open and shut case," he said. "She stands with the framers." He also blasted House Speaker

He should be impeached but not until the Reps win the Senate in November. Trying to do it now will make that impossible.

# 1 It will still not be possible
to convict in the Senate , even if Republicans can get the 6 seats in November they are hoping for.
That will only bring their Senate total to 51
from the present 45.
The Constitution says 2/3 majority of the Senate is necessary to convict.
The evidence was irrefutable that Bill Clinton committed perjury in front of a federal judge
and he still wasn´t convicted in the Senate.
Being an incompetent , lazy and hapless
president is not criminal .

Taking the Senate will be necessary but not sufficient without a mandate to impeach. How can Republicans claim a mandate in NOvember if they don´t impeach now and campaign on it? Only with a mandate would they be able to apply enough heat on Democrats to convict and remove the Emperor.

Sarah has taken the lead, ahead of the crowd. That´s what leaders do, by definition. The crowd follows the leaders - not the other way around.

Mark, Ted, and others are close, but not quite there. They still point out the 2/3 Senate requirement as the reason not to go "all in" at this point. At least they are giving Sarah lip service for now.

They will be joining her soon. The facts on the ground are inexorable. What must be done, must be done - in spite of the odds.

As long as the Kneepad Media controls the flow of information that reaches the disinterested LoFos, impeachment will be impossible. The lack of knowledge, or concern, by Joe Public in regard to Obama´s impeachable offenses is deplorable.

Is all that has happened chalked or dry-erased up to laziness, incompetence and haplessness? If that is what our leaders believe about this presidency then there really is no hope even if 75 of them were to be seated in the Senate in 2015. What he has done via executive orders and failure to enforce the laws of this country are indeed criminal and not only fecklessness.

Who are you kidding? Don´t insult our intelligence by telling us that if RINOs win the Senate that there is going to be an impeachment and conviction.

It is not true that Obama can’t be impeached as long as the Democrats control the Senate. The House impeaches the president, and the Senate holds the trial. So, with the House in Republican hands, the president can be impeached but probably not convicted by a Democrat controlled Senate.

What a Senate trial would do, however, is force Democrats to go on record as supporting and dismissing the president’s lawlessness.

It’s time to end the notion that the House is relieved of its constitutional duty to impeach a rogue president because the Senate might not convict. What the Senate might do is none of the House’s business. They have a constitutional duty, and they are obliged to do it, without regard to what the Senate might do.

so the interests of the nation, and the sworn duties of members of the Congress, are to held subservient to base political calculations by moral cowards? Is that it?
Even though by any stretch, Obama is guilty of a host of offenses that not only permit impeachment and removal, they demand it.
I´m glad none of them were around in 1776. Take on the British Army and Navy? Too risky. Wouldn´t be prudent. Stand at Concord Bridge? No way! Can´t possibly do any good you know. And keep that radical loudmouth Sam Adams far from here, he´ll just cause a problem and the "smart set" won´t invite us for tea and crumpets.
Can you imagine Boehner in command at the Alamo? Or at the Chosin Reservoir? Battle of the Bulge? Omaha Beach? Thermopylae?
Course not. Wouldn´t be prudent.
I spit on the lot of them. Had a friend suggest I register with the Constitution Party, and am giving it serious consideration. The Republican Party is a band of Quislings.

The case for Obama’s impeachment:
The Constitution’s remedy for

The next time you hear politicians denounce Barack Obama as a lawless, imperial president with a scandal-riddled administration, ask them what they’re going to do about it. Their gnashing of teeth over Obama’s self-granted omnipotence is repetitive. Let’s agree with our ninth president, William Henry Harrison, who said there is nothing more corrupting, nothing more destructive than the exercise of unlimited power. We understand the problem. The only way for politicians to fix it is with a little less talk and a lot more action. The Constitution provides the remedy for a president who commits “high crimes and misdemeanors.”

President Obama was absolutely swamped the other night, staving off the munchies at a pizza party in the Mile High city, hobnobbing as headliner at numerous Democrat shindigs, collecting big bucks from big donors all day. Whew. Exhausting. Especially exhausting must be trying to change pace and pivot through the fundraising parties, knowing they’re thrown by those much maligned “fat cats” (Obama’s words, not mine). The president conveniently disparages these fat cats in public, but in private their group hugs are a whole lot of cuddlin,’ purrin’ and rolling over for more tummy tickling from the one who feeds them.

Enough is enough of the years of abuse from this president. His unsecured border crisis is the last straw that makes the battered wife say, “no mas.” Without borders, there is no nation. Obama knows this. Opening our borders to a flood of illegal immigrants is deliberate. This is his fundamental transformation of America. It’s the only promise he has kept. Discrediting the price paid for America’s exceptionalism over our history, he’s given false hope and taxpayer’s change to millions of foreign nationals who want to sneak into our country illegally. Because of Obama’s purposeful dereliction of duty an untold

President Obama won´t make any major announcements on immigration reform during his secretive mid-vacation trip back to Washington next week, the White House said Wednesday. The president is expected to return to the White House on Sunday, but officials won´t say why Obama is taking the unusual, and costly, trip back to Washington. He´s expected to return to Martha´s Vineyard, where he´s been vacationing, on Tuesday. Speculation has circled around whether Obama might make an announcement of executive actions he´s taking on immigration reform, or a surprise visit from a foreign leader. But the White House is "not anticipating a major announcement on

The global impact of climate change is “the biggest challenge of all that we face right now,” Secretary of State John Kerry told an audience in Hawaii Wednesday, putting an issue he feels passionately about at the center of a speech entitled “U.S. Vision for Asia-Pacific Engagement.” “The science is screaming at us,” he said. “Ask any kid in school. They understand what a greenhouse is, how it works, why we call it the greenhouse effect. They get it.” “If you accept the science,” Kerry continued. “If you accept that the science is causing climate to change, you have to

A Travis County grand jury today indicted Gov. Rick Perry on two charges related to his effort last year to force District Attorney Rosemary Lehmberg to resign after her drunken driving arrest. Grand jurors charged Perry, 63, with abuse of official capacity, a first-degree felony, and coercion of a public official. The indictments stemmed from Perry’s threat last summer to withhold $7.2 million in state money from Lehmberg’s office unless she step down – a threat he later carried out by vetoing an appropriation in the state budget. The money was earmarked for the state’s Public Integrity Unit, which is housed in Lehmberg’s office. Perry’s veto forced

FERGUSON, Mo. — The friend who was with Michael Brown when he was shot and killed by a police officer near St. Louis over the weekend is reportedly confirming that he and Brown had taken part in the theft of cigars from a convenience store that day. That word comes from the attorney for Dorian Johnson, speaking to MSNBC. Police in Ferguson had earlier announced that Brown was suspected of taking cigars from the convenience store in what was described as a "strong-arm robbery." Brown´s family is accusing police of trying to draw attention away from the shooting.

I’m a Democrat. I’ve been a Democrat my entire life. I used to utter those two sentences with pride and would shout them from the highest rooftops. Now, I’m almost embarrassed to say those words. I almost can’t articulate my political affiliation in public (or on the radio) without immediately offering an apology and an explanation. How did I get here? I’ve been asking myself that question a lot lately. The more I ask it, the more I come to the realization that I haven’t changed all that much. Sure, I’m a little older … OK, a lot older. This is ridiculous. AUSTIN (KXAN) – A grand jury has handed up an indictment against Gov. Rick Perry in connection with the investigation into an effort to force Travis County District Attorney Rosemary Lehmberg to resign. Perry wanted Lehmberg to resign because she had been busted for drunk driving. It’s not good to have a drunk driver, captured on camera abusing the officers who arrested her, heading up the Public Integrity Unit. At the center of the issue is a complaint about intimidation stemming from Perry’s threat to veto of $7.5 million in state funding to the Public Integrity Unit

President Obama said Thursday that “now is the time for healing” after a series of clashes between protesters and police over the shooting of a black teenager in Ferguson, Mo., but he also called for an open and transparent investigation “to see that justice is done” in the case. Speaking from Martha’s Vineyard, Mass., where he is on vacation, Obama said that many Americans “have been deeply disturbed” by images of violence in the St. Louis suburb following the police shooting Saturday afternoon of Michael Brown, an unarmed 18-year-old African American who was headed to technical college this week. “When something like

What on earth? In the middle of a war this country’s president publicly says is justified owing to the relentlessness of the rocket fire against civilian populations, U.S. officials proudly tell the Wall Street Journal, they are holding up weapons transfers to Israel: They decided to require White House and State Department approval for even routine munitions requests by Israel, officials say. Instead of being handled as a military-to-military matter, each case is now subject to review—slowing the approval process and signaling to Israel that military assistance once taken for granted is now under closer scrutiny. These transfers were taking
