How a campaign move on immigration
is haunting Obama now

Washington Examiner [DC], by Susan Crabtree

The border crisis is forcing President Obama to pay the price for a re-election move he made two years ago. At the time, Obama was hoping to energize Latino voters who were disappointed that he had raised deportations to record levels in an attempt to build credibility with Republican lawmakers for an eventual deal on immigration reform. So in June 2012, Obama announced a half-measure he would take on his own. Through an executive order, Obama allowed hundreds of thousands of undocumented immigrants who came before the age of 16 to remain in the U.S. As a campaign tactic, it was a

Ummm, no, he changed the definition of "deportation" to make it appear he had raised them to record levels.

The Republicrats are waiting for the lame duck session to pass "reform". My goodness, they´ve even adopted the President´s meme that this is a "humanitarian crisis", and we know how America responds to those.

Honestly, #4, I don´t think Obama´s even close to hurting America´s real treasure. He has destroyed infrastructure, put us in debt, forsaken our allies, etc. etc. However, the real treasure in our country is the heart of the people in the Tea Party and Obama has not laid a glove on that part of America.

The posters are right in saying what´s in the hearts of the TEA Partiers will save this country that is if we get the chance and that is a very big, if! The damage done by Obama and his bureaurcrats is going to be nigh to impossible to repair. Just look no further than Lerner and Koskinen to understand that there are thousands of them employed by the government in every agency. It will be a daunting task and will take a president with a backbone of steel and titanium resolve. My hope is that someone with those qualities can emerge and pull the Republicans out of their pit of comity to fight the fight that would be required.

A permanent majority of voters (including waves of soon-to-be voters aka "illegal immigrants") in key states like California and Florida who are predisposed (genetically?) to go Democrat, pretty much guarantees a de facto One Party State in the near future. There is no way an opposition party to the socialists (should one arise, as we don´t have one even now) could survive an electoral college with an overwhelming Blue State advantage even before any candidate was chosen. I see no other reason why Obama would be pushing this, and I´m sure he doesn´t, either.

There is one action that could and can repair the damage Obozo and cohorts have caused this country. Sadly, there simply are not enough citizens that are capable and willing to do that which is necessary. And that is to rise up in revolution that re-build the country. The current Constitution would be used as a blueprint for such re-building, with necessary changes that would prevent another current situation. Without that revolution, this country is sunk. And no political action will be capable to bring it back.

Great point, #7. Obama only picks fights with sheep, cowards, the sick and the helpless. A head-on confrontation with the TEA Party or our sacred rights and principles will get him set back on his butt so fast that he will think he ran into a wall. We just aren´t mad enough yet.

#9, when the time comes, you will be surrounded by so many patriots that you will think that an announcement that the IRS has been closed down, the Obamas, Harry Reid, Chuck Shumer, Sheila Jackson Lee, Eric Holder, Debbie Washerwoman Shultz and Nancy Pelosi have moved to Australia has just been made and this is the celebration party. INDIANOLA, IOWA — Hillary Clinton is trapped in a bubble. She’s been guarded by the Secret Service since 1993. She hasn’t driven a car since 1996. When she shakes hands with voters _ as she did Sunday in Iowa _ she’s often separated from them by metal barriers. In some ways, Clinton is a prisoner of her own success. The Secret Service protection has been there since she became first lady in 1993, and it will follow her the rest of her life. A poll released last week had some pretty bad news for congressional Democrats heading into the midterm elections. But buried in the poll numbers was a figure that just might constitute an even more important turning point. Respondents were asked: “On balance, do you feel that Obama’s presidency so far has been more of a success or more of a failure?” More than half, 52%, said “failure.” Only 42% said “success.” And it gets worse. Only 22% were “strongly” convinced Obama is a success, while 39% are strongly convinced he’s a failure. And the American people have pretty much made up

Everybody knows there is no real leader in the race for the 2016 Republican presidential nomination. But ask voters an open-ended question — Whom do you want to be the nominee? — and the range of answers can be breathtaking. That´s what I did in an unplanned and totally unscientific way on my Twitter feed Tuesday afternoon. On Monday evening I posted a piece about Mike Huckabee´s preparations for another run for the nomination in 2016. Twitter reaction to Huckabee was almost entirely negative: Nobody, or at least nobody reading my tweets on a Tuesday afternoon, seemed to like the idea

The nightly news shows made it very clear this week that they’ve gotten behind Hillary Clinton’s expected 2016 campaign for president. The network news programs gave Mrs. Clinton’s trip to Iowa the gushing, royal treatment on Sunday, repeating it again on Monday, as she appeared before a throng of cheering Democrats in Iowa, where her party’s first presidential nominating caucuses will be held. The coverage of her speech, which was loaded with empty platitudes and little else that was newsworthy, bordered on the worshipful. The more violence that comes out of the Islamic world, the more that the Left insists Islam is a “religion of peace.” The rise of ISIS has inspired Western leaders to redouble their attempts at reeducation. Appointing themselves Islamic authorities, they declare that ISIS is “not Islamic.” These Western leaders are far more protective of Islam than their own historic religion. They are willing to subject Christianity to scrutiny for its supposedly reactionary teachings, even as they hold that the doctrines of Islam are flawless and beyond criticism. Obamacare—or at least the version of it that the president and his advisers currently think they can get away with putting into place—has been upending arrangements and reshuffling the deck in the health system since the beginning of the year. That’s when the new insurance rules, subsidies, and optional state Medicaid expansions went into effect. The law’s defenders say the changes that have been set in motion are irreversible, in large part because several million people are now covered by insurance plans sold through the exchanges, and a few million more are enrolled in Medicaid as a result of Obamacare.
