Rick Perry´s Immigration Meeting With
Obama Produces Photo for the Ages

Yahoo! News, by Abby Ohlheiser

Original Article

So, how did President Obama´s meeting with Republican Governor Rick Perry go today? In a statement on Wednesday, Obama described the meeting as "constructive," but, well, this photo also exists. It´s not immediately clear what the context of this photo was — Is Perry sad? Uncomfortable? Telling a funny story? Happy, but trying to look serious? Hmm. Perhaps someone made a joke at Perry´s expense? Or maybe Perry just makes the Robert De Niro shrug face a lot for no reason. Anyway, it doesn´t matter right now. Until we know more about the context, the photo will be a Rorschach

FTA: " "The only disagreement I had with Governor Perry," the president said, was that Perry requested Obama move forward with a plan to fix the immigration crisis without additional funds from Congress."

This is what a future presidential candidate from an purposely effected state should have told 0bama. Of course, 0bama is off to vacation and can´t be bothered. He should NOT get any money for the illegal immigration problem his administration created. Most people here see it for what it is, "bait & switch," or just plain extortion. And, like the Clinton "charities," it´ll be diverted to some other political direction because frankly, who IS watching the tax money coming in, fines collected, and more important earmarked for some government "program?" It would be apparent to Gov. Perry, as seen in the picture, that 0bama was only there for a staged photo op, as his statement showed later.

"Disgusted" is a polite term for what I was thinking.

He also looks like if they were just man to man - not governor and president, that he would deck him.

Perry is trying to fix the problem the Joker caused. His looks reflect his complete disgust at the President of the United States laughing at a joke told by one of his democrat minions while seriously trying to fix this world class screw up. A screwup caused by the President ignoring the Constitution and the Laws of the Land.

It doesn´t take an idiot to see this will not end well.

I believe he did the best he could today. He is dealing with a most treacherous enemy of our country that is protected by the power of the Presidency. God bless

How easy it is to sit anonymously at a keyboard and throw spitballs at a good and strong man who is trying to deal with a monumental problem in his state, one that affects the entire country (it WILL be in your backyards) while his main opponent seems to be the president of the United States.

I don´t believe he wants our "sympathy". Just our support and our prayers.

It´s plain to see that Obama refused to look Governor Perry in the eye. That it was strictly a managed photo op.

There is no substance in this other than Obama looked like he did "meet" so it didn´t look like he was totally ineffective.

The press has this dictator´s back. Let there be no mistake about that. We wage our arguments amongst ourselves while the press disregards us.

One of the curious aspects of the Tea Party’s emergence during the past four years is the extent to which the mainstream media have fostered the idea that this political phenomenon represents a kind of radicalism. Certainly, some politicians of the so-called Tea Party have tossed out ideas and expressions that have been silly and warped. Does that mean, though, that the Tea Party, as a broad political movement, is radical? The answer is no. The Tea Party is a reactive movement, aimed at protecting the political mainstream from radical ideas, initiatives and policies of the left. Indeed, a review

Ronald Reagan kicked off his general election campaign on September 1, 1980, at Liberty State Park in New Jersey with Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty as his backdrop. The crowd was strategically filled with flag-waving Eastern Europeans who were there to raise Reagan’s profile with blue-collar, ethnic Catholic voters. Though Reagan arrived at the venue wearing a sports jacket and tie, Mrs. Reagan convinced him to discard both because of the extreme heat that day. The result was a tanned, handsome Reagan in a white shirt with the sleeves rolled up and top buttons undone, his hair blowing
