Super-Amnesty Will Turn
Every City into Detroit

FrontPage Magazine, by Daniel Greenfield

After another bloody weekend in Chicago, Mayor Rahm Emanuel branded the shootings unacceptable and the city’s top cop demanded more gun control laws. Chicago’s murder rate has actually dropped since concealed carry became legal. Emanuel’s lawsuits over his illegal gun control laws have left the already struggling city deep in the hole and forced to cover the NRA’s million dollars in legal bills. Concealed carry paid off over the bloody weekend when a vet carrying a gun returned fire stopping a massacre before it happened. The original shooter ended up in the hospital, but nobody ended up in the morgue, which

Correct, OP. The politricksters will say things like "we must condemn these actions in the strongest possible terms".

That´s a direct quote from one of the asshats, by the way. And the media enablers will swoon.

Anderson, South Carolina -- Marco Rubio came to South Carolina this week hoping to win over the kind of conservative hardliners who turned on him last year as the Senate immigration reform bill he sponsored hit a roadblock in the Republican-controlled House. By the time Rubio addressed a massive GOP fundraiser here on Monday evening, it wasn´t his right flank he had to worry about. The Florida senator and likely presidential candidate was the headline speaker at a "Faith and Freedom" barbecue fundraiser for Rep. Jeff Duncan, the tea party-backed congressman who represents what many Republicans consider the most conservative

President Obama has put the My Brother’s Keeper initiative at the center of his response to racial unrest in Ferguson, Mo. But the president is also signaling that the program meant to provide opportunities to young men of color will be an important part of his post-presidency plans. Obama has been “deeply engaged” in the initiative, aides say, helping solicit over $200 million in private donations to be dispersed over the next five years into child development, school readiness, parent engagement, literacy, and school discipline reform programs. He’s asked friends — including NBA stars like Chris Paul and Magic Johnson

The president will announce executive initiatives that automatically enroll those receiving mental health services through the Defense Department into similar Department of Veterans Affairs programs, expand mental health peer support for veterans being treated in primary care settings and invest nearly $115 million in suicide prevention and treatment of diseases like post-traumatic stress disorder. The official government office of House Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) posted to its website on Tuesday a slickly produced 40-second video centered on a wind-up toy monkey that sits in Boehner’s house. The website says that the toy monkey is the second-most photographed subject (inadvertently) of the current session of Congress, aside from Boehner. “It all started in the fall of 2011, when Speaker Boehner joked in an interview that some days he felt like a windup toy because his jam-packed scheduled kept him so busy,” the site says. “My staff gave it to me,” Boehner says in the video. “Every 15-30

According to one of Ronan Farrow´s Monday guests, the riots in Ferguson, Missouri were justified as “well-placed anger, disappointment, disenchantment with an aggressive militarized police force and with the apathetic government." Farrow agreed. Farrow´s two guests were Torrine Russell from Hands Up United and Philip Agnew from Dream Defenders. The two are organizing a national day for students to walk out of school in remembrance of Michael Brown. The host asked Agnew about the just-completed funeral of Brown. Agnew called it well-placed anger and followed it with a strange metaphor about making a cake. Farrow: And we´re still looking at those live

Democrat Michelle Nunn is running ahead of David Perdue in the race for the U.S. Senate in Georgia. The WSB-TV poll found that Mrs. Nunn has 47 percent to 40 percent edge over Mr. Perdue. The libertarian candidate, Amanda Swafford, received 3 percent, and 10 percent of the respondents were undecided. The winner of the race will replace retiring Sen. Saxby Chambliss. Mrs. Nunn, the daughter of former Georgia Sen. Sam Nunn, is seen as one of Democrats best bets to flip control of a GOP-held seat. Republicans need to flip six seats to win back the Senate.

FERGUSON, Mo. — It was 1 a.m. and Michael Brown Jr. called his father, his voice trembling. He had seen something overpowering. In the thick gray clouds that lingered from a passing storm this past June, he made out an angel. And he saw Satan chasing the angel and the angel running into the face of God. Mr. Brown was a prankster, so his father and stepmother chuckled at first. “No, no, Dad!
