Obama Defends Decision Not to
Visit Border: ‘This Isn’t Theater’

After delivering a statement about his administration’s plans to deal with the current crisis at America’s border with Mexico Wednesday afternoon, President Barack Obama addressed for the first time the mounting criticism over his decision not to visit to border on his trip to Texas this week. In answering a reporter’s question on the controversy, Obama defended his decision by saying he was more interested in a substantive solution to the problem than a simple “photo-op.” The president explained that his Secretary of Homeland Security Jeh Johnson will be making his sixth trip to the border this week and briefs him

He´s not interested in photo-ops?? He has the audacity to say that?? Un.freaking.believable. Goebbels would have been extremely proud of that pure BS and propaganda that Obama spewed forth. So what´s new.

Substantive solution? I don´t need to be a Noble Laureate to find a solution.

How about spending 1000 USD per person and putting them on a plane from where they came? That will cost7 million for 70,000 people instead of the insane 3.7 billion he is asking for.

The idea of visiting solely to understand the situation never enters his mind. Every appearance has to be a photo-op, a celebrity sighting, or a chance to show off his perks and privileges.

Not theater? This coming from a fellow whose entire presidency has been devoted to nothing but theater.
He doesn´t make a move unless it is good theater for himself.
99.9% of his presidency has been theater, really bad and failed theater at that.

So far, it appears there is one lone Democratic Congressman who is outraged at Barry´s
cold shoulder to the plight of Hispanic children.
Henry Cuellar D- TX was on MSNBC today and he ripped Barry for being "aloof" , "detached" and " bizarre " for not visiting the Texas border to see the crisis first hand.
Cuellar was disgusted that Barry
could drink beer and play pool ( and giggle ) in Colorado , but, refused to
go a mere 242 miles on AF One to see the
situation first hand.
"It Just floored me, because if he´s saying he´s too busy to go to the border but you have time to drink beer, play pool."
Yup..that´s Playtime Barry.

Bill Ayers, according to the right, is Barack Obama’s terrorist trainer and ghostwriter. Upon further inspection, Ayers is nothing quite as dramatic or fearsome. While more famous for his anti-war activities as a founder of the Weather Underground in the 1960s and ‘70s, he is now a committed educator. Retired from his education professorship at the University of Illinois in Chicago, Ayers continues to give lectures to teachers in training, speak at education conferences and agitate against America’s two-tiered educational system – one for rich, one for poor – on behalf of low-income parents, students and instructors. In early June 1964, a group of Republican governors sought to wrestle control of their party from Barry Goldwater, the Arizona conservative who was about to lead the GOP to one of the most crushing defeats in its history. The governors saw a disaster in the making, and sought a moderate candidate who could capture the imaginations of grassroots Republicans—but also beat President Lyndon Johnson in the general election. Led by Ohio’s James Rhodes—the Republican Governors Association was meeting in Cleveland, and Rhodes was a legendary vote counter—the group included Pennsylvania’s William Scranton and later New York’s Nelson Rockefeller.
