5 Reasons Why New York Times Editorial
Today Is An Embarrassment To Journalism

Buzzfeed, by Israelinusa

Original Article

Posted By:Pluperfect, 7/9/2014 5:01:23 PM

1. The New York Times writes that “after days of near silence,” Prime Minister Netanyahu condemned the murder of a Palestinian teenager on Sunday. But Netanyahu called the murder “reprehensible” on Wednesday, the day it occurred, and the next day, in his first public appearance since the murder, again forcefully condemned the killing on prime-time national television. Early July 4th weekend for the entire New York Times editorial board? 2. The New York Times omits that Prime Minister Netanyahu called the father of the murdered boy yesterday to personally express his outrage and condemnation. Maybe the New York Times didn’t get that press

What do you mean, five reasons?
More like 5,000 reasons.
Their unqualified support for progressive politicians, their love for dictators, their disdain for republican governments, their love of Statists--what is left to criticize?
The NYT does not hire journalists. They hire fabulists, propagandists, and panegyrists.
The truth is not an issue at the Times. What matters is the State, always the State, the Glorious State, which can never make a mistake.
RRRight.
Any truth which interferes with their meme is quashed.
When they can´t find truth, they make it up.
Ugh.

The NYT is nothing but a liberal lying mouthpiece for anti- Israel, anti-conservative, anti-guns, anti-family, anti-religious, and anti-Constitution groups. It can hardly be called a news paper or its product journalism.

Netanyahu´s statements are pro forma only, the truth of the situation is still unknown and may remain so - more than likely the poor innocent yute was wearing a mask and throwing stones along with his buddies, and may have been cursing out the fighting back when tackled. That doesn´t make beating him all skittles and beer, but it does bring it within defensible and common practice.

As for the New York Times, it has become nothing but a malignant tumor on the body politic, they gave up any pretense to modern journalism when they lost the difference between fact and agitprop lies and omissions in their front page stories.

Behind bars in the same jail as the ‘Public Enemy No. 1,’ the Jane Doe seemed to succeed at erasing her fingerprints where Dillinger had failed. But cops still unraveled her baffling story. The cops in Ohio did not know it when they struggled to fingerprint her, but their prisoner would prove to be a mystery woman who would seem to outdo Dillinger. After what one cop called “a heck of a fuss,” they finally managed to print her. They were stunned by the result. “There’s nothing there,” a cop announced. The prisoner had somehow managed to obliterate every identifying swirl on the tips

The New Georgia Project, a group currently under investigation for “significant illegal activities” regarding voter-registration applications, began handing over subpoenaed documents on Friday, and says it’s reached an agreement to limit the scope of the documents it’s required to turn over. Georgia secretary of state Brian Kemp launched the investigation of the New Georgia Project earlier this month after receiving “numerous” complaints regarding applications submitted by the group, including forged signatures and applications. The investigation has turned up 33 fraudulent applications thus far, ahead of the thousands of pages of documents set to be turned over. The group is run by

Remember the “Mission Accomplished” speech? You know, the one where the president declared the war in Iraq over, only to have to eat his words as he sent the U.S. military to fight terrorists in Iraq who were taking over vast swaths of the country? No, I’m not talking about President George W. Bush’s May 1, 2003, speech aboard the USS Abraham Lincoln. I’m talking about President Obama’s speech at the White House on Oct. 21, 2011, in which he boasted about his decision to withdraw all U.S. troops and bring “the long war in Iraq” to an end. It’s still on

BERLIN—There are many subjects of German soul-searching. Among them: Is the country saving too much water? People here are known to flush toilets with old bath water and to take turns bathing in the same tub without refilling it. New German toilets typically use about two gallons of water for a full flush and less than one for water-saving. Conserving water is an expression of personal virtue and social responsibility. But as scholars, utility managers, and municipal officials point out, there is a dark side to the impulse. Sewage stagnates in too-large canals and noxious gas is corroding cement. Hong Kong -- The Hong Kong government said Monday that riot police have pulled back from pro-democracy demonstrations around the city that have caused widespread disruption in one of Asia´s financial hubs. Defiant demonstrators remained on the streets of Hong Kong´s financial center, blocking traffic on key highways a day after clashes with police that left more than 40 people injured. Explaining the decision to withdraw the riot police, the government said in a statement that the protesters on the streets were now behaving peacefully. But protesters have pointed out that the unrest Sunday resulted from heavy-handed police tactics. Riot police remained on

And by that measure, six weeks away from the elections in November, Republicans are dominating the midterm game. A new NBC News/Wall Street Journal/Annenberg poll shows that 54 percent of Republicans say they’re highly interested in the upcoming elections, compared to 44 percent of Democrats who say the same. Another way to look at the GOP intensity advantage: Democrats hold a four-point lead on the generic ballot, 46 percent to 42 percent. But among high-interest voters, Republicans have the edge,

For President Obama, the color of a man’s skin is far more important than the content of his character. On the night when a police officer was shot in a Missouri town torn by racial strife, the president donned a shiny tuxedo to attend a ritzy black awards dinner, where he said police nationwide are to blame for community mistrust, even claiming that “most Americans” think the country is racist. Remember, when Ferguson exploded in racial rage in August, Mr. Obama chose not to curtail his 15-day vacation, spending day after day on the golf course in the white-skinned, white-wined, millionaire playground
