AFL-CIO urges Obama to circumvent
Congress on immigration

Washington Examiner (DC), by Sean Higgins

Calling them "aspiring American workers," AFL-CIO President Richard Trumka launched a petition Wednesday calling on President Obama to bypass Congress on the current immigration surge and to instead use his executive authority to aid the people flooding the southwestern U.S. border. "Families are being separated because Congress has failed to act on a commonsense immigration process. The crisis on our worksites and in our communities can´t wait. That´s why I´m calling on President Obama to extend administrative relief to Americans in waiting," Trumka said. Obama has said in the past that he is obliged to follow the law and order

Trumpka you´re an idiot. Try some TEA instead of the drugged kool-aid and quit being such a suck up butt kisser.

This borders on stirring up sedition against the laws that govern this country.

Trumpka´s clearly lining his pockets on this. Maybe the Chamber of Commerce paid him off like they do Schumer´s Republicans.

Heads up, union members. You´re paying dues to be protected and your leadership is playing games that will lose you jobs and security.

Trumpka, it is not legal to circumvent Congress, to force people to join a union, pay union dues, steal union dues for private purposes -- this being just a short list of things you need to know.

New House GOP Whip Steve Scalise called President Obama’s extended discourse on his own impeachment nothing but a political game, noting this “might be the first White House in history trying to start the narrative of impeaching their own president.” Scalise spoke with Fox New’s Chris Wallace on Sunday about the president’s impending plan for executive action on immigration — which many suspect will include amnesty for millions of illegal immigrants. “You’re already suing the president for overreach,” Wallace noted, asking if House Republicans will consider impeachment should the White House move around Congress on yet another major issue. “You

What’s the over-under on how many EBT cards the Tsarnaev gang had in their heyday? Very conservatively, I’m going to say 15. It’s difficult to nail down exact numbers, because these are, after all, undocumented Democrats, and God forbid that their privacy rights should ever be violated. As Rep. Shaunna O’Connell (R-Taunton) put it this week, “Deval Patrick can’t run the state, but he sure is good at stonewalling.” The latest questions concern Khairullozhon Matanov, better known as “The Quincy Cabbie.” Did he or did he not have an EBT card? What you seem to be saying is that people have a problem with their own dependency here the government is only furthering.” [See video below.] Gregory began his questioning of Ryan by pushing liberal talking points that

Bush had to cancel his appearance at the three-day Ameriprise Financial conference at the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center because of an injured knee. For example, during his recent visit to Brazil, Russian President Vladimir Putin was asked by journalists about U.S. sanctions against Russia due to the Ukrainian crisis. While naturally condemning such moves, part of his response was to accuse the Obama administration of “encouraging war between neighboring states.” In the same context, Putin added: American objectives have not been realized, nor have they accomplished anything, because everything has collapsed. President Obama appears poised to take executive action that would legalize as many as 5 million illegal immigrant parents of U.S.-born children, a prospect that riles local immigration critics and adds a new dimension to concern about swelling immigrant populations in states like Massachusetts eyed as hosting sites for thousands of children who crossed the border unaccompanied. The Associated Press reported yesterday White House officials are laying the groundwork for an executive order that would automatically legalize roughly 5 million of an estimated 11 million people who have entered the country without legal authorization or overstayed their visas.

When The Times of Israel’s Avi Issacharoff first reported the content of John Kerry’s ceasefire proposal on Friday afternoon, I wondered if something had gotten lost in translation. It seemed inconceivable that the American secretary of state would have drafted an initiative that, as a priority, did not require the dismantling of Hamas’s rocket arsenal and network of tunnels dug under the Israeli border. Yet the reported text did not address these issues at all, nor call for the demilitarization of Gaza. It seemed inconceivable that the secretary’s initiative would specify the need to address Hamas’s demands for a lifting of
