Costco Reverses Decision to
Pull Dinesh D’Souza’s Book

Costco has reversed its decision to pull all copies of the new book, “America,” by conservative filmmaker Dinesh D’Souza. Like D’Souza’s new film, “America,” the book discusses American exceptionalism and debunks some of the claims of those on the far left. Now, the Costco CFO said the book will return to shelves and denied that the books were pulled for political reasons, instead blaming shoddy book sales. “America” is number one on Amazon and on track to become a bestseller. “America” co-producer Gerald Molen was on “The Kelly File” to discuss Costco´s decision and subsequent reversal. He said the situation

So a book called ´America´, the #1 seller on Amazon, doesn´t make the cut for their precious book shelves. While Hilary´s dust-collecting tome is probably stacked up like their 12-packs of toilet paper. It was a political decision, pure & simple.

Yesterday, I sent Costco a nasty letter accusing them of censorship because their founder is an Obama supporter and big money donor. And of course they denied that.
I also pointed out that Hillary´s books were there and not selling.
To further make my point, I then suggested that Costco start selling the "America" video.

Reversing this decision is only a "CYA´ - nothing more. I had heard Costco was left-leaning, but that decision was unbelievably stupid. Do they really think we´re stupid enough to believe they´re doing this because they had a change of heart? "Mr. Costco", don´t pee on our legs and tell us it´s raining. I wouldn´t darken their door if they were giving away merchandise free of charge. Any person or company still supporting this president has to be seriously defective. Don´t want to even go near them or be associated with them.

For a supposedly savvy company, you´d think Costco would know better than to pull a stunt like this. What were they thinking? Did they really think nobody would notice?

Personally, I don´t shop at Costco because I refuse to shop anyplace that requires I buy a membership. If I was a member this would be a reason for me to go elsewhere. When ideology gets in the way of your successful business plan, it´s time to move on. Costco should take a look at what happened to J.C. Penney when they went full gay on everyone.

They say a prosecutor could get a grand jury to indict a ham sandwich, and this always seemed like hyperbole, until Friday night a Texas grand jury announced an indictment of governor Rick Perry. The “crime” for which Perry faces a sentence of 5 to 99 years in prison is vetoing funding for a state agency. The conventions of reporting — which treat the fact of an indictment as the primary news, and its merit as a secondary analytic question — make it difficult for people reading the news to grasp just how farfetched this indictment is. The Obama administration has done little to calm racial tensions as they spread from Manhattan to St. Louis to Los Angeles. Quite the opposite, some top officials have fueled African-American fears of racism with false accusations of anti-black discrimination. Attorney General Eric Holder’s race-baiting is no secret. Justice Department documents show the nation’s top cop gave thousands of dollars to help the Rev. Al Sharpton organize marches protesting the death of Trayvon Martin. Now he’s sent the civil-rights unit to St. Louis to do the same thing in the fatal shooting of Michael Brown. Less known, however, is the role of Labor Secretary Thomas
