After 101 days in Mexican prison, Marine
Sgt. Tahmooressi to get day in court

Fox News, by Joseph J. Kolb

On his 101st day in captivity in Mexico, Marine Sgt. Andrew Tahmooressi will finally get his day in court Wednesday before a federal judge in Tijuana. Because of delays prompted by both Mexico´s unpredictable legal system and Tahmooressi´s trouble settling on a lawyer, the hearing will be the first time a judge gets to hear directly from the 26-year-old veteran of two tours in Afghanistan. Although his new lawyer is urging caution, Tahmooressi´s mother said the family hopes federal Judge Victor Octavio Luna Escobedo will free him. "Andrew expressed his hope to be released on Wednesday as the judge will

My husband and I were called to exchange our cruise for an all inclusive in Mexico. Mexico tourism is hurting. I told them that Mexico will NOT receive one penny of my money and don´t call again. I will not purchase any produce from Mexico...let it rot on the shelve.

It will be interesting to see if the POTUS goes on vacation, leaving this Marine in a Mexican prison.

Will someone please remind Obama he has a phone and a pen...

a few thoughts: 1. He should have said he was importing guns into Mexico as part of Fast and Furious. If only to see the reaction of the left, this would have been funny.

2. It has been my opinion that he will continue to be held until the ransom is paid. When the authorities detaining him realize that he has been abandoned by Obama/Holder, they will let him go. How long does it take for them to see the light? Probably another year.

There is no better example of the pathetic mess that is appeasement than looking at what Obama is doing at the southern border, including the corrupt persecution of Sgt. Tahmooressi.

To the Democrats, Sgt. Tahmooressi has the following problems:

He is a man.
He is a proven brave and functional man.
He chose his race poorly.
He owns guns.
Probable Republican/patriot.

...so they will only grudgingly do anything to help him.

Senate Undergoes Emergency Cleaning
After Woman Drags In Bedbugs

The Architect of the Capitol took emergency measures Wednesday to handle a bed bug problem in a Senate Office Building, including closing off a restroom for a couple of days with yellow police tape. So watch out Senate aides and tourists approaching the sixth floor of the Dirksen Senate Office Building. Bedbugs are not easy to shake. The trouble began prior to a Senate Indian Affairs Committee hearing held Wednesday in which some attendees—lobbyists, presumably—employed people to wait in line for them. This is a common practice and sources tell us it falls under the jurisdiction of the Rules Committee chaired by

Chris McDaniel should either show evidence

IT TOOK just a few words for state Sen. Chris McDaniel to stoke tea party fervor after his runoff loss in the Mississippi Republican primary to incumbent Sen. Thad Cochran. “We’re not done fighting,” he said defiantly to the June 24 election-night crowd. A messy primary was about to get worse. Mr. McDaniel, who lost by about 7,600 votes, claimed that there were voting “irregularities,” insisting that those who voted in the June 3 Democratic primary illegally cast ballots three weeks later in the Republican runoff. He also argued that many voters broke an obscure and unenforceable Mississippi law that

Vladimir Putin’s daughter lives, in all places, the Netherlands — and disgusted locals now want her deported because it was her dad who provided the missile that shot 193 of their countrymen out of the sky over Ukraine. Maria Putin’s presence in the grieving nation sparked outrage during a national day of mourning, with the arrival of the first wave of coffins carrying victims from Malaysia Airlines Flight 17. Ukrainians living in the Netherlands were planning to protest outside Maria’s swanky apartment, and Dutch Twitter users targeted the pretty blonde, with one fuming, “Its time you leave B*TCH” over her

Three years ago this week, hundreds of protestors jeered outside the Orange County jail in Florida as Casey Anthony walked out the front door as a free woman. They, like many across America, were outraged at Anthony´s acquittal of murder charges in the death of her 2-year-old daughter, Caylee. Over the past three years, there have been many questions about the now 28-year-old´s life. Here, PEOPLE answers some of them: Is She Broke? Her lawyer says so. Cheney Mason tells CNN that Anthony stays at home and works as a "housekeeper, clerk, secretary and stuff like that."

Meanwhile Chris McDaniel continues to gather information for a challenge of his loss to incumbent U.S. Sen. Thad Cochran in the runoff. McDaniel has asked the state Supreme Court to reconsider its rejection of his request for access to poll books without voters´ birthdates blacked out, in part to avoid the expense of paying to have the records redacted. Age and stamina are the obvious considerations. “Look at Obama’s hair color, just like George Bush’s,” says a prominent Washington insider. “Somebody who’s seventy shouldn’t be president. And I think that’s going to be an interesting issue against her, but who in the Democratic Party is going to have the guts to take on that machine?” A former Clinton campaign adviser is equally blunt. “This is gonna sound superficial”—which is an understatement—“but men do age better than women,” he says. “At

In a potentially crippling blow to Obamacare, a federal appeals court panel declared Tuesday that government subsidies worth billions of dollars that helped 4.7 million people buy insurance on HealthCare.gov are illegal. The 2-1 ruling said such subsidies can be granted only to people who bought insurance in an Obamacare exchange run by an individual state or the District of Columbia—not on the federally run exchange HealthCare.gov. "Section 36B plainly makes subsidies available in the Exchanges established by states," wrote Senior Circuit Judge Raymond Randolph in his majority opinion, where he was joined by Judge Thomas Griffith. WASHINGTON —Polarization and partisanship are a plague on American politics. Political scientists have found that the two parties have each grown more ideologically homogeneous since the 1970s. The Senate hasn’t been so polarized since Reconstruction; the House has not been so divided since around 1900. As measured by laws passed, the current Congress is on track to be among the least productive in our republic’s history. How did this happen? One of the main causes has not gotten enough attention: the party primary system. The reasons behind the shocking primary defeat last month of Representative Eric Cantor of Virginia, who
