At a stop in Denver on Tuesday, a man in a video posted on Instagram can be heard asking the president, "Do you want a hit of this?" Obama doesn´t reply, but apparently laughs off the request. It´s not clear what the person who posted the video on Instagram was offering, but he who goes by the username manton89 had written: "Asked him if he wanted a hit of pot...he laughed! #legalizeit #iinhaled #mrGQ"At a stop in Denver on Tuesday, a man in a video posted on Instagram can be heard asking the president, "Do you want a hit of

With a "fully stocked" bar on Air Force One, why would Obama be interested in street weed?

Other than to get more evil 1% money, he had to go to CO to get a couple of pounds of Mary Jane for his personal stash.

Krauthammer: Obama Amnesty Action
´a Serious Trespass on the Constitution´

On Thursday’s “Special Report” on the Fox News Channel, Washington Post columnist Charles Krauthammer reiterated his argument that should President Barack Obama pursue unilateral amnesty for illegal immigration, it would be unconstitutional and would therefore be an impeachable act. “It should [spur on more calls for impeachment],” Krauthammer said. “Because the president himself has said often and publicly and on camera that he isn´t allowed to do precisely what he´s said he´s ready to do in September. He said it´s against -- look, he said it is unconstitutional.

A Justice Department official admitted that former IRS official Lois Lerner’s apparently missing emails actually exist on a backup server, but the government doesn’t plan to retrieve them. , “A Department of Justice attorney told a Judicial Watch attorney on Friday that it turns out the federal government backs up all computer records in case something terrible happens in Washington and there’s a catastrophe, so the government can continue operating,” Judicial Watch president Tom Fitton told Fox News’ Shannon Bream. “But it would be too hard to go get lois lerner’s emails from that backup system,” Fitton continued, paraphrasing the DOJ official.

Democrat Michelle Nunn is running ahead of David Perdue in the race for the U.S. Senate in Georgia. The WSB-TV poll found that Mrs. Nunn has 47 percent to 40 percent edge over Mr. Perdue. The libertarian candidate, Amanda Swafford, received 3 percent, and 10 percent of the respondents were undecided. The winner of the race will replace retiring Sen. Saxby Chambliss. Mrs. Nunn, the daughter of former Georgia Sen. Sam Nunn, is seen as one of Democrats best bets to flip control of a GOP-held seat. Republicans need to flip six seats to win back the Senate.

President Barack Obama faced a tough crowd on Tuesday – American military veterans – and fell flat on his applause lines as he failed to win over the American Legion´s convention-goers. The 35-minute speech seemed to have reminded the audience of the stark divide between the White House´s policy choices and the feelings of the men and women often called on to carry them out. A Virginia legionnaire who served in the U.S. Marine Corps told MailOnline that ´a small group of Obama´s admirers – and there are some here – sat near the front and tried to generate applause

American black people are being lied to and the lies destroy them. They are being lied to by corrupt people like Attorney General Eric Holder and Al Sharpton Jr. and Jesse Jackson and the leftists in our news media. They are being told that their poverty is due to prejudice and that the police are targeting them out of bigotry. They are being told that the dreadful existence of slum life grew out of slavery and is being perpetuated by hatred. None of this is true. Poor black people are poor because they have no family structure and get little education.

On NBC’s Meet the Press, guest Gwen Ifill of PBS called the unrest and violence that erupted in Ferguson, Mo., the beginning of a “new civil-rights movement.” “There’s a new civil-rights movement which has sprung up,” Ifill said. “These young people in the streets, these young people who created a social-media movement around Michael Brown, they’re not saying pass a law, they’re saying enforce the current ones.” But some people have called for new laws, and later in the program, Reverend Al Sharpton said, “Our demonstrations must lead to legislation.” Sharpton went on to say that, “We must turn this moment into

The White House is bristling at suggestions President Obama is disconnected, checked out or out of touch. White House allies maintain that the storyline of a checked-out president is a myth drummed up by the media during the summer doldrums. “It’s bullshit,” said one former senior administration official. “This is a guy who reads 10 letters a day simply to keep in touch with the American people. He spends all his time thinking about the economy and improving lives of the American people. He’s constantly in touch.” Obama has been criticized as out of touch by critics and supporters, with the subject

Our AJC colleague Nicholas Fouriezos passes along the following dispatch: The racial unrest caused by tensions over the shooting of black teenager Michael Brown in Ferguson, Mo., could be a rallying cry for Democratic get-out-the-vote efforts, according to the voter education committee chair for the Democratic Southern caucus. “There is a story beneath the story in Ferguson,” chairwoman Janet May said at the Southern Caucus meeting during the Democratic National Convention in Atlanta on Friday. May ran through the stats of the 21,000-person Missouri town: 13,000 black citizens, about 7,000 white. Five city council members– one of whom was black.

Republican strategist and former John McCain consultant Steve Schmidt has joined the team helping Texas Gov. Rick Perry with the strategy around his indictment, POLITICO has learned. Schmidt is the latest addition to a team that Perry has been expanding with legal hands. (Snip) Earlier this week, POLITICO’s Mike Allen reported that Perry had hired former Clinton White House special counsel Mark Fabiani to a team that already included Republican lawyer Ben Ginsberg.

FERGUSON, Mo. — It was 1 a.m. and Michael Brown Jr. called his father, his voice trembling. He had seen something overpowering. In the thick gray clouds that lingered from a passing storm this past June, he made out an angel. And he saw Satan chasing the angel and the angel running into the face of God. Mr. Brown was a prankster, so his father and stepmother chuckled at first. “No, no, Dad! No!” the elder Mr. Brown remembered his son protesting. “I’m serious.” And the black teenager from this suburb of St. Louis, who had just graduated from high

When a federal appeals court ruled last month that a seemingly arcane wording flaw in the Affordable Care Act should invalidate a central part of the law, many of those who drafted the statute five years ago reacted with shock and anger. In 2009, they had spent months piecing together a compromise that sought to create a national system of subsidized insurance — but one run by the states. Now, they fear their work could be undone by what some call a "drafting error" and others portray as a political miscalculation. The judges from the U.S. Court of Appeals for

Amid the hysteria over the shooting of 18-year-old Michael Brown in Ferguson, Mo., it might be lost that most black and white Americans believe they’re not out to get each other. A new Pew Research survey shows that 75 percent of whites and 64 percent of blacks say their groups get along together “pretty well” if not “very well.” It’s a bleaker view for Hispanics, 53 percent of whom say the same. Ferguson fell into the national media spotlight on Aug. 9 when Brown, who was unarmed and black,” was shot dead by Darren Wilson, a white police officer. A St. Louis grand jury is currently deliberating whether to charge Wilson of a crime.

Harvard Law School professor Charles Ogletree grouped the shooting of Michael Brown, who was fatally shot by a police officer in Ferguson, Mo., earlier this month, with two of the most monumental deaths American civil-rights history on MSNBC. Ogletree, a renowned legal scholar who taught President Obama and first lady Michelle Obama during their time in Cambridge, described the state of affairs following Brown’s funeral as being “just like the assassination of” Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. in 1968. “This reminds us of exactly what happened years ago when I was a young kid to the great man Emmett Till,
