Houston, TX - A source told Breitbart Texas that an illegal immigrant from Guatemala is currently being treated for active tuberculosis (TB) at the University Medical Center (UMC) of El Paso. Dr. Elizabeth Lee Vliet--a preventive medicine physician and former Director of the Association of American Physicians and Surgeons (AAPS)--has practices in Arizona and Texas. Vliet claimed that one of her patients, whose name can not be disclosed for confidentiality reasons, called her with fears that the TB-positive immigrant was putting other lives at risk. Vliet said her patient informed her that ICE and DHS would not take the illegal

Comments:
Maybe, 0bama will visit and hug some if the new illegal alien children moving into Dallas. That is if he has time from his fundraising tomorrow. Not sure if they have been moved in yet to their new digs.

Does American really need comprehensive immigration reform, or leaders willing to enforce the current laws? What good are more new laws that will be also be ignored and never enforced? This is a sham. An Obama crisis, NOT to be wasted.
Secure the border, give us the Keystone pipeline, THEN we´ll talk about the serious problem that illegal aliens are bringing to this country. HEAR that Republicans?

I have said it here before but many of us Texans just can´t believe it. Illegal Mexicans have been allowed to stay in the U.S. with all manner of infectious diseases. I have no idea what is up with our TX Public Health system. When these Mexicans are treated, I have seen where they are instructed to stay home and/or wear the mask at all times. Guess what? They obey that just like they show up for their immigration hearings - not. I saw the same lady touching produce in my local Market Street in Amarillo. She did not have her mask on!!

Very worrying,#6. I´m concerned about the proliferation of pre-washed lettuce and vegetables we see nowadays, prepacked salads too. Right now A and I have our own home-grown tomatoes and still have some lettuce and kale soldiering on in a shady corner. Best to buy produce the old-fashioned way and wash it well before eating. Better yet, do your own seed-sprouting where possible.

Makes me want to carry blue gloves and antibiotic wipes with me when I go grocery shopping--and a mask when I see someone coughing!

Ugh! Shudder!

The truth be known, there are illegal aliens with TB employed in the food service industry and in restaurants all over the USA. Out of 20 million illegal aliens here now, there are bound to be a certain percentage carrying all sorts of communicable diseases. Up to now the politicians haven´t cared, they just want the cheap labor and after an amnesty their votes.

There are great American political fundraisers. And then there are Hillary and Bill Clinton, the first couple of American political fundraising. Few in American history have collected and benefited from so much money in so many ways over such a long period of time. Since they arrived on the national political scene 32 years ago, the Clintons have attracted at least $1.4 billion in contributions, according to a review of public records by TIME (Snip) Much of the money, raised through two Senate and three Presidential campaigns, was gathered together in small checks by an extensive network of donors and fundraisers.

Two years ago we were all going about our daily business blissfully unaware that our planet almost plunged into global catastrophe. A recent revelation by NASA explains how on July 23, 2012 Earth had a near miss with a solar flare, or Coronal Mass Ejection (CME), from the most powerful solar storm on the sun in over 150 years, but nobody decided to mention it. Err, what? Well that’s a sobering bit of news. “If it had hit, we would still be picking up the pieces,” says Daniel Baker of the University of Colorado. We managed to just avoid the event through lucky timing as the sun’s aim narrowly turned away from Earth.

Miami - Federal officials have capped the amount of money scofflaws will be forced to pay if they don't buy insurance this year at $2,448 per person and $12,240 for a family of five. The amount is equal to the national average annual premium for a bronze level health plan. But only those with an income above about a quarter of a million dollars would benefit from the cap. Those making less would still have to pay as much as 1 percent of their annual income. The penalty for the first year starts at $95 per adult or $47.50 per child under 18.

A skateboarder and four young pals emerged Wednesday as the unlikely suspects who eluded around-the-clock NYPD security to scale the venerable Brooklyn Bridge and raise two white flags. While cops had no real leads in the second day of their probe, the five youths wanted for questioning were described as in their late teens or early 20s, a source told the Daily News. There’s still no explanation for the removal of two U.S. flags or the bizarre substitution of two bleached-white American flags left flying above the bridge’s two towers Tuesday. New Yorkers on the bridge amid ramped-up security Wednesday were still wondering

When President Obama issues executive orders on immigration in coming weeks, pro-reform activists are expecting something dramatic: temporary relief from deportation and work authorization for perhaps several million undocumented immigrants. If the activists are right, the sweeping move would upend a contentious policy fight and carry broad political consequences. The activists met privately with the President and his aides June 30 at the White House, and say in that meeting Obama suggested he will act before the November midterm elections. hey hope his decision will offer relief to a significant percentage of the estimated

Honduran President Juan Orlando Hernandez said ambiguity in Washington’s immigration debate has helped human smugglers, called “coyotes,” convince Central Americans that they can stay in the U.S. if they make the long, illegal journey. “That is a situation that the coyotes are very perversely taking very much an opportunity to exploit,”

Warsaw - The CIA ran a secret jail on Polish soil, the European Court of Human Rights ruled on Thursday, piling pressure on Poland, one of Washington´s closest allies, to break its long silence about the global programme for detaining al Qaeda suspects. The court said it had been established that the CIA used a facility in a northern Polish forest, code named "Quartz", as a hub in its network for interrogating suspected al Qaeda operatives rounded up after the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks. Poland has always denied that the CIA had a jail on its territory, even as leaks from former U.S. intelligence officials, and a Senate investigation, brought more and more

The UN Human Rights Council’s ludicrous decision on Wednesday to open an international inquiry into Israeli violations that may have been committed during Operation Protective Edge in Gaza is outrageously hypocritical. This travesty of justice should be rejected outright by decent people and nations everywhere, as the Prime Minister’s Office in Jerusalem beseeched. Instead of backing Israel’s justifiable right as a democratic state to respond forcefully to clear human rights violations by Gaza’s Hamas rulers both before and during the current military campaign, the international forum in Geneva chose to side with the terrorists.
