´America´ Filmmakers Demand
to Know Why Google is Getting
Their Search Results Wrong

Hollywood Reporter, by Paul Bond

Original Article

Lawyers representing Dinesh D’Souza’s newest film, America, have fired off a letter to Google demanding that the search engine correct problems that they say are hampering the ability of consumers to figure out where the movie is playing. The letter claims that Google has been confusing America with 2016: Obama’s America, which was D’Souza’s first movie and has been out of theaters for two years, while Lionsgate released America on July 2 and it is currently playing in about 1,100 theaters nationwide. Google, according to the letter, has been "misdirecting many users who mistakenly believed the film was not playing in theaters.

Comments:
It really is shocking what lengths the leftists will go to suppress the truth and free speech. They will always show you who threatens them the most.

Direct from the Land of Odz...Seattle. Costco thinks we are too stupid to read/understand this book, ergo, they must pull it from their "shelves." Nice going. Freedom to read also out the window.

Google is a widely-used facility run by leftists who aren´t shy about shaping information through outright lies or lies of omission.

Costco is run by Democrat fundraisers and has allegedly pulled D´Souza´s book from their shelves.

Leftist swine can´t compete on merit; they have to rely on forcefully shutting down different view.

Told this story before and I´ll tell it again.
In 2008, on the day the story broke about 0bama being a buddy with terrorist Bill Ayers, I was at work and did a google news archive search for related stories and found several putting Barry and the other piece of human debris together during the 1990´s advocating in favor of insipid leftist clap-trap in Chicago. I couldn´t print or purchase the stories at work, so I duplicated the search a few hours later when I got home and could not find them. In the interim, google had muddled the search terms so that thousands of other unrelated stories were produced and the ones I was looking for could not be pinpointed.
Make no mistake, Google is and has been in bed with big ears.

I will report my search engine wierdness then, by way of Google and my local Carmike Cinema. Not sure which is responsible, but seems like it´s both.

Started checking via Google at my local cinema, several days ago, and kept seeing, as reported, the old 2016 movie. We thought perhaps it may come here Tuesday, as new releases come out on Tuesdays here, and perhaps it was upheld for some reason. The original movie was very long in getting to our area.

Anyway, I searched again just a while ago, and sure enough, it´s there. The last movie in the sliding banner at Carmike´s listing, with no cover photo like all the others, an incomplete title, and nothing but an image of a black movie stub.

When I clicked on it, it returned nothing. I had to open it in another tab, which promptly closed my browser. I had to perform the search twice more, with the same results. Finally, on the third try, it opened with an image and description of the movie, in a new tab, but the sliding banner STILL has a black movie ticket stub for the movie.

There is an all out war to stop this movie from being seen, this is obvious. It makes me want to see it even more, but, it will be the last time I likely go to the Carmike Cinema to see a movie. This is really outrageous, and not totally Google´s fault, I don´t believe.

Plus, it is annoying that, ´´America,´´ is not being shown in smaller towns, even in those locations which have multiple screen theaters!!!?!! Many fine films such as this seem to be censured from viewing in smaller towns which limits the attendance stats overall for these films first weekends.

The House made a bipartisan demand Friday that Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson conduct a comprehensive review of the Secret Service and not just a probe of how they reacted to last month’s fence jumper. House Oversight and Government Reform Committee Chairman Darrell Issa, R-Calif., and the panel’s top Democrat, Elijah Cummings, D-Md., said in the letter to Johnson that a September hearing on the agency exposed “a series of dangerous security breaches,” that point to serious flaws. Let’s start with what should be an obvious proposition: Holder’s policies and approach to the job were consistent with the person who appointed him — Barack Obama. Lest Republicans forget, Obama was elected and reelected to the presidency by large margins in 2008 and 2012. First, congressional accusations against Holder on the controversial “Fast and Furious” “gun walking” program have been proven factually wrong.
