Hillary Clinton doubles down on poverty

Former secretary of state Hillary Clinton told the German magazine Der Spiegel on Tuesday that she and her husband Bill were ´deeply in debt´ when they left the White House, and blamed ´relentless persecution´ by Republicans for her legal bills after his presidency. The claim has added fuel to the fire Clinton herself touched off last month when she claimed they were ´dead broke´ after their time in the White House. The former first lady earns $200,000 or more every time she makes a public speech. The former president has earned a reported $104 million in speaking fees since he

Go complain to Sarah Palin about legal bills, Killary. The big difference is that all of the lawsuits filed against her by leftists were fraudulent and were thrown out. Your husband was impeached, disbarred and fined. Suck it up.

From the people who had the unmitigated Chutzpah to sell access to OUR White House for campaign cash, had dopey Al Gore dial for dollars from his office and entertained foreign nationals, a few of whom were wanted on warrants, in the WH in exchange for paper bags filled with cash.

And then, if that wasn´t bad enough, they had the nerve to set up a legal defense fund and beg for even more cash from Hollywood liberals and other mouth breathing suckers.

Who the hell does this woman think she´s kidding ?

Hillary toots, there is a world of difference between accumulating debt while engaged in positioning for the top .1% level income, and accumulating debt with no prospect for establishing real time income that supports oneself.

Even if your sob story were true do you think anybody with an IQ of a salamander or greater thinks you felt the fear of financial difficulty? You knew and we also know that you and your significant other had enormous earning power as you evacuated our house for simply showing up and drooling on a podium. You didn´t need to sell my silverware for your next happy meal. Anybody that isn´t insulted by your drivel had better not match wits with a salamander.

What #1, and #2 wrote is what should be taken from this PIAPS pity party. "I don´t feel noways tired. I´ve come too faaar from where I started from. Nobody told me that the road would be easy. I don´t believe He brought me this faaaar...." Author! Author! (What was it that the Deltas were "coughing" during Dean Wormer and Niedermeyer´s trial in Animal House?)

The Clintons and Clinton´s VP Al Gore, with their net worths well into nine figures since leaving office in 2001, have gamed the system to gather riches unto themselves to an extent never before seen in the annals of American politics. They´re ultimate political pigs with their snouts and all four feet in the government/university/crony capitalist slop trough. Nice work if you can find it.

Yes, the PIAPS is probably the odds on favorite to garner the 2016 Democratic nomination, but she utterly lacks her husband´s political instincts and his crude oil charm. Moreover, she´s a brittle character of bottomless greed, unprepossessing in personality, vocal timbre, and looks. One would have to be a masochist to want to experience her day after day. There are plenty of women who could make good presidents, but the PIAPS, an Obama manqué, empty of everything but ambition, ain´t one of them.

Yup. See, Monica & Paula was a complex republican plot to trick Bubba into committing perjury so that he and Hillary would have to form the Clinton Legal Defense Fund. No doubt Hillary was the (no more than reasonably paid) administrator of that fund who may have postponed payment to the lawyers who defended Bubba.

Hillary and Bill left the White House with little more than the clothes on their backs and a few under-appreciated, trinkets that were just gathering dust.

Janet Yellen, chairwoman of the US Federal Reserve, has always said that normalisation of US interest rates will be data dependent. Well, she´s got little excuse for holding back after today´s blistering second quarter GDP figures, showing annualised growth of 4 percent. This finally lays to rest lingering suspicions that the economic contraction of the first quarter was more than just a weather induced aberration. Many feared that it was indicative of more deep rooted, underlying weaknesses. Yet the second quarter snap back more than makes up for the arctic freeze of the early part of the year, with the

The security cabinet directed the IDF on Wednesday to continue to forcefully hit Hamas in the Gaza Strip, and to complete the job of neutralizing the terror tunnels, a senior diplomatic official said Wednesday. According to the official, speaking after a four-hour security cabinet meeting, the IDF operation has led to “significant achievements on the ground” and is hitting at the “strategic apparatus” that Hamas has invested in for years. The official said that the IDF also has had “significant achievements” in degrading the infrastructure of Hamas and other terrorist organizations in Gaza, and will “continue to expand” those operations.

President Obama demanded that Israel agree to a one-sided cease-fire during a heated phone conversation with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, according to a report aired on Israeli TV Tuesday. Both leaders quickly denounced the purported transcript of their private discussion as fake. But the TV channel that obtained it, state-run Channel 1, stood by its account. In one bitter exchange, Obama declared that Qatar and Turkey — Hamas’ biggest international supporters — would mediate with the terrorists on Israel’s behalf, according to the TV channel. “I trust Qatar and Turkey. Israel is not in the position that it can choose its mediators,” the president

Geraldo Rivera hates it whenever any one around him refers to people illegally crossing the border as “illegals.” On Monday’s edition of Outnumbered he challenged FNC’s Ainsley Earhardt when she dared to use that phrase in his presence. Rivera barked: “Every time you say ‘illegals,’ it’s like fingernails on a black board!” Well Earhardt, along with a few of her co-panelists, fought back against Rivera’s insistence that the border-crossers were “law-abiding.” (video after the jump) The following is the relevant exchange as it was aired on the July 28 edition of FNC’s Outnumbered: Andrea Tantaros: Ainsley how does this move,

Former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee angered his Facebook fans after endorsing Sen. Lamar Alexander against conservative state Representative Joe Carr last month. Carr has been endorsed by former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin and conservative talk radio host Laura Ingraham for the August 7th primary. And Carr has been relentlessly hammering Alexander for voting for the Senate´s amnesty bill even after law enforcement officials warned Alexander that it would lure more illegal immigrants from Central America. Nearly every one of close to 450 comments beneath Huckabee´s announcement on his Facebook page blasts Huckabee for supporting Alexander. One Huckabee fan said, "We

Former Minnesota Gov. Jesse Ventura joined the “CBS This Morning” co-hosts Wednesday to discuss the details of his legal battle with a former U.S. sniper. On Tuesday a federal jury awarded Jesse Ventura $1.8 million in his case against Kyle’s widow. The former governor told CBS: “I’m already damaged. I can’t go to a SEAL reunion anymore. That was the one place I felt safe. I can’t go there anymore. I’ll be looking over my shoulder now wondering who’s going to come after me next. And, so don’t think I come out of this unscathed. All I wanted to do was clear my name and it has nothing to do with a widow or anything like that.

Inside Hoboken’s combined junior-senior high school is a storage closet. Behind the locked door, some mothballed laptop computers are strewn among brown cardboard boxes. Others are stacked one atop another. Dozens more are stored on mobile computer carts, many of them on their last legs. That’s all that remains from a failed experiment to assign every student a laptop at Hoboken Junior Senior High School. It began five years ago with an unexpected windfall of stimulus money from Washington, D.C., and good intentions to help the district’s students,

Do not eat or drink in front of Muslims, and learn more about their religion. That’s the directive that has gone out to active duty military personnel at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences, a Department of Defense medical and graduate school in Bethesda, Md. The brigade commander sent an email to military personnel at the facility last month – just before the start of Ramadan – advising them to show respect to Muslim colleagues. “This is a period of great personal restraint and commitment in addition to renewed focus on worship,” Brigade Commander Col. Kevin Glasz wrote. “I’d like to
