Hillary Clinton doubles down on poverty

Former secretary of state Hillary Clinton told the German magazine Der Spiegel on Tuesday that she and her husband Bill were ´deeply in debt´ when they left the White House, and blamed ´relentless persecution´ by Republicans for her legal bills after his presidency. The claim has added fuel to the fire Clinton herself touched off last month when she claimed they were ´dead broke´ after their time in the White House. The former first lady earns $200,000 or more every time she makes a public speech. The former president has earned a reported $104 million in speaking fees since he

Go complain to Sarah Palin about legal bills, Killary. The big difference is that all of the lawsuits filed against her by leftists were fraudulent and were thrown out. Your husband was impeached, disbarred and fined. Suck it up.

From the people who had the unmitigated Chutzpah to sell access to OUR White House for campaign cash, had dopey Al Gore dial for dollars from his office and entertained foreign nationals, a few of whom were wanted on warrants, in the WH in exchange for paper bags filled with cash.

And then, if that wasn´t bad enough, they had the nerve to set up a legal defense fund and beg for even more cash from Hollywood liberals and other mouth breathing suckers.

Who the hell does this woman think she´s kidding ?

Hillary toots, there is a world of difference between accumulating debt while engaged in positioning for the top .1% level income, and accumulating debt with no prospect for establishing real time income that supports oneself.

Even if your sob story were true do you think anybody with an IQ of a salamander or greater thinks you felt the fear of financial difficulty? You knew and we also know that you and your significant other had enormous earning power as you evacuated our house for simply showing up and drooling on a podium. You didn´t need to sell my silverware for your next happy meal. Anybody that isn´t insulted by your drivel had better not match wits with a salamander.

What #1, and #2 wrote is what should be taken from this PIAPS pity party. "I don´t feel noways tired. I´ve come too faaar from where I started from. Nobody told me that the road would be easy. I don´t believe He brought me this faaaar...." Author! Author! (What was it that the Deltas were "coughing" during Dean Wormer and Niedermeyer´s trial in Animal House?)

The Clintons and Clinton´s VP Al Gore, with their net worths well into nine figures since leaving office in 2001, have gamed the system to gather riches unto themselves to an extent never before seen in the annals of American politics. They´re ultimate political pigs with their snouts and all four feet in the government/university/crony capitalist slop trough. Nice work if you can find it.

Yes, the PIAPS is probably the odds on favorite to garner the 2016 Democratic nomination, but she utterly lacks her husband´s political instincts and his crude oil charm. Moreover, she´s a brittle character of bottomless greed, unprepossessing in personality, vocal timbre, and looks. One would have to be a masochist to want to experience her day after day. There are plenty of women who could make good presidents, but the PIAPS, an Obama manqué, empty of everything but ambition, ain´t one of them.

Yup. See, Monica & Paula was a complex republican plot to trick Bubba into committing perjury so that he and Hillary would have to form the Clinton Legal Defense Fund. No doubt Hillary was the (no more than reasonably paid) administrator of that fund who may have postponed payment to the lawyers who defended Bubba.

Hillary and Bill left the White House with little more than the clothes on their backs and a few under-appreciated, trinkets that were just gathering dust.

Barren land, dams with no water reaching them, boats anchored in dried-up reservoirs and shrinking lake levels. These extraordinary images show the devastating impact the worst droughts in decades is having on the American West - and forecasters have predicted it is likely to continue. Around 430,000 acres of land will be left fallow in California - because there hasn´t been enough rain or snow coming from the nearby mountain ranges. Farmers - who are daily facing the prospect of losing their jobs and everything they have - are hoping for relief this winter, but the situation still remains dire.

Tony Blair is right. Before you harrumph and turn away, listen to his argument. It is--in short--that there is a global threat from militant Islamism. That it is spreading--and it is getting worse. And that we must act. It is clear that there is a fundamental problem with radical Islamism; clear that it is deep; clear that the solutions are not easy or presently to hand; clear that this is the work of a generation, not an election cycle; and clear--most important of all--that this is "our" challenge and not simply "theirs". Turkey has begun to close some of its border crossings with Syria after about 130,000 Kurdish refugees entered the country over the weekend. Kurdish fighters have issued an urgent call to arms amid warnings of an impending massacre by the Islamic State terrorist group in northern Syria. The Kurdish People´s Protection Unit (YPG) has been locked in a fierce battle with IS and other Islamist groups almost since the start of Syria´s civil war. Despite being relatively isolated and receiving no foreign aid from any states the YPG has proven perhaps the most effective force in pushing back against IS. It was once said, “religion is designed to comfort the afflicted and to afflict the comfortable.” Jesus’ parables – short stories with moral lessons – were likewise designed to afflict, to draw us in but leave us uncomfortable. These teachings can be read as being about divine love and salvation, sure. But, their first listeners – first century Jews in Galilee and Judea – heard much more challenging messages. Only when we hear the parables as Jesus’ own audience did can we fully experience their power and find ourselves surprised and challenged today. Here are four examples of Jesus’ teachings that everybody gets wrong: 1.

Three and a half months have come and gone and the Pentagon has offered no clarity on what happened to alleged Army deserter and Taliban collaborator Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl. Fellow soldiers and other critics fear the military’s now-delayed investigation is shaping up to be a whitewash. The case has become a political powder keg for President Obama. Since he traded five imprisoned Taliban leaders for Bergdahl, the US Government Accountability Office has declared the swap illegal, and nearly two dozen House Democrats have joined Republicans in officially condemning the move for making “Americans less safe.”

The man who jumped the White House railing Sept. 19 deserves the right to live in President Barack Obama’s home, just as the president is allowing hundreds of thousands of border-jumping Central Americans to live in Americans’ homeland, says a new tongue-in-cheek petition posted at the White House website. “We urge President Obama to immediately and publicly recognize that Mr. Omar J. Gonzalez, an oppressed migrant, was merely looking for a better life when he entered the White House after going over the classist, divisive and needless fence,” says the petition, which was authored by D.A. King, founder of the Georgia-based

When Anthony Weiner’s mayoral campaign imploded last year amid new sexting revelations, the fallout buffeted his wife, longtime Hillary Clinton aide Huma Abedin. Clinton’s inner circle was furious with Weiner, and Abedin’s role with Hillary was said to be in doubt. “Huma has a choice to make,” New York magazine quoted a “close associate” of Abedin’s as saying. “Does she go with Anthony, or does she go with Hillary?” The magazine described Abedin as “traumatized” by the prospect of leaving the inner sanctum. One year later, Abedin’s marriage to Weiner appears intact, and her role in Hillary’s camp is secure. As Clinton’s personal chief

SALEM, N.H. — Voters have soured on President Obama. National and statewide trends favor Republicans. And here in his new home state, Scott Brown’s truck is gaining speed. Analysts and recent polls have found Brown closing in on US Senator Jeanne Shaheen, the Democratic incumbent he is vying to unseat, in a race that has become increasingly nasty and expensive. Once largely dismissed by critics as an unlikely second act in a state he moved to only last year, Brown’s Senate bid is increasingly seen as a plausible path back to the US Capitol. Observers see a race that may be largely determined
