Evidence of an Ominous
American Climate Change

American Thinker, by Darren Jonescu

Original Article

Posted By:Hazymac, 7/8/2014 11:56:08 AM

A new "nationally representative survey" has concluded that the number of Americans who still have free minds is now low enough to warrant intensifying the psychological warfare in order to finish them off for good. In fact, if this study from the Yale Project on Climate Change Communication and the George Mason University Center for Climate Change Communication can be trusted -- and with unbiased names like those, what´s not to trust? -- life will be getting hotter for those frustrating American holdouts who insist on thinking for themselves when there are so many qualified experts ready to provide them

Comments:
Now that American citizens are starting to get wise to Green propaganda, the Greens, seeing their gravy train of federal grants and crony capitalist lucre threatened, are double-barrel blasting their lies across the media horizon. Politicians, aware that their overall popularity has already descended into the loo, are about to be joined by the environmental wing of the scientific establishment, angling for federal money to concoct further climate scare stories. It will end badly for them. Lies don´t endure forever.

Well, this part is true when discussing today´s GOP.
FTA:
"about a third of the party -- often have views relatively similar to Democrats, while conservative Republicans have very different opinions.”

And when we toss their stupid asses out of office, we might start getting our country back.

Oh so the test is phrased as "believes global warming is happening"?

There´s an accurate metric for you. Let´s see. I believe it was happening at some times, just not now in a clearly documented cooling trend. I believe it will probably happen again for some time in the future, again offset by global cooling.

I most emphatically do not believe that the actions of human beings have anything to do with it or can control it in any way.

And I believe that using the word "belief" at all in a scientific debate is foolish in the extreme.

Communists never, ever give up.

They have taken control of every non-profit institution in the world - - including places like the Rockefeller and Ford foundations. And they use that money to enrich themselves - - give each other awards - - and fund nonsensical propaganda like global warming "studies."

They´ve perfectly gamed the system. They´re getting rich - - very rich - - on other people´s money - - and they´re funding an unbreakable, non-stop cycle of self-perpetuating schemes.

Yesterday’s post about the inexorable expansion of government can be read in conjunction with Roger Simon’s current piece about how the Great Society laid the foundations for the riots in Ferguson. Ironically Michael Brown and the paramilitarized Ferguson police department are two sides of the same coin. They are the joint product of the politics of grievance and the growing expansion of government. The taxes that made the mobs dependent also armed the paramilitary police that contain them. You have one government department handing out Obamaphones and another handing out MRAPs to the cops. HHS gives out Obamacare and the

Yawning can be a problem at the office for Lindsay Eierman. "I´ve explained, ´I´m sorry, I didn´t get much sleep last night,´ " says Ms. Eierman, a 26-year-old social worker from Durham, N.C. But a lack of sleep may not be the problem. Researchers are starting to unravel the mystery surrounding the yawn, one of the most common and often embarrassing behaviors. Yawning, they have discovered, is much more complicated than previously thought. Although all yawns look the same, they appear to have many different causes and to serve a variety of functions. Yawning is believed to be a means

As the media-sanctioned rioting, bloodshed and looting continue in Ferguson, Missouri, evidence is emerging that police shooting victim Michael Brown wasn’t the upstanding citizen that many on the Left have claimed him to be. All of this is happening as mobs have been attacking cops with Molotov cocktails and destroying community infrastructure. Some blacks in the region are reportedly randomly assaulting non-blacks as collective payback for what happened to Brown. Looting and property destruction are rampant. Scores of people have been arrested. Aircraft were ordered to fly at least 3,000 feet over Ferguson airspace after police said their helicopters were

I know Democrats can’t be embarrassed. When I refer to “an embarrassment of Democrats,” I am trying to capture the natural reaction of average Americans to the likes of Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi and the embarrassment of Democrats (as I call them) seeking higher office this November. Among them is one Alison Lundergran Grimes. Grimes seeks to knock off Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell from reelection to the seat he holds representing the great state of Kentucky. When it comes to public policy, McConnell is a serious guy. He is a long-time defender of the speech rights of citizens that

McDonald’s has a problem. For the first time in 10 years, the company generated less revenue in a month than it did a year before, and it’s not a blip. The world’s biggest burger chain has been posting lagging results for some time, particularly in the United States. Here in America and elsewhere around the world, Greens continue to war against any energy other than the useless “renewable” kind, wind and solar, that is more costly and next to useless. Only coal, oil, natural gas, and nuclear keeps the modern and developing world functioning and growing. The most publicized aspect is Obama’s “War on Coal” and, thanks to the Environmental Protection Agency, it has been successful; responsible for shutting down several hundred coal-fired plants by issuing costly regulations based on the utterly false claim that carbon dioxide emissions must be reduced to save the Earth from “global warming.”

The size of Hillary Clinton’s fee has come under fire from critics who question the large expense in an era when students are hard-pressed to cover tuition and leave school saddled with massive debt. We’ve seen this exact scenario play out numerous times, most visibly in 2012 when the DOJ wanted to keep the FBI reports on the lack of racial animus -which supported George Zimmerman- from the public. Under Eric Holder’s tenure the DOJ civil rights division has actively engaged in pushing racial grievances to the forefront of their operational goals. But the rioting only paused; it didn’t cease. Barack Obama’s presidency isn’t just shrinking, it’s losing support among its most critical point — its base. Less than two years ago, Barack Obama became the first Democratic president since FDR to win re-election with a popular-vote majority. Since then, his support has dropped dramatically — not just overall, but among important constituent groups. Comparing 2012 exit poll results with an Aug. 8 McClatchy-Marist nationwide poll shows how far Mr. Obama has fallen with various segments of the population. In 2012, Mr. Obama won among women 55 percent to 44 percent. Today, his approval rating among women is 41 percent, with
