Arizona Gov. Brewer blasts ‘imperial’
Obama for failing to secure border

Washington Times, by Jessica Chasmar

Original Article

Posted By:Scottyboy, 7/8/2014 11:25:19 AM

Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer tore into President Obama on Twitter, calling him an “imperial POTUS” for failing to secure the border and allowing illegal immigrants to “overrun” the country. (snip) “Lawless decrees by the President demonstrate animus to Congress, states and the Constitution,” the governor said in a press release Monday. “It is outrageous, though not entirely surprising, that the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals has once again dealt a blow to Arizona’s ability to enforce its laws.”

Comments:
Good for Gov. Brewer. EVERY Repub. ought to be up in Barry´s grill like this right now.

Governor Brewer. Stop shouting. Take action. Take a stand on the court imposed requirement to issue driver´s licenses to illegals. Call another press conference to announce that you will ignore the court ruling, as it is none of their business to regulate state issuance of said licenses.

If Obama will not visit the boarder and surround himself with all the children why not bus them to where he is speaking? I mean take bus loads after bus loads and surround the area where he is talking.

He must drive through the streets and not all the streets can be blocked. Take them to the airport. Line the streets, highways.

#2 is right, Jan won´t do a thing. She only signed SB 1070 for a political boost. If she wants to talk border security she should talk specifics. The Yuma sector here was secured under Bush in 2006. Two operations did it, Operation Jump Start which brought in National Guard, an increase in border agents, barricades and fencing. Then Operation Streamline which made border crossing a federal crime. No more automatic deportation. If you were caught you did time in Federal Prison then you were deported. Crossings in the 126 mile long sector dropped 95%. It works and it´s not hard. Jan needs to talk real security, with real facts.

If she is not just jibber jabber this time... No we don´t forget, Jan...

1. Tenth Amendment State sovereignty ring a bell, Jan? You act helpless. Quit putting on airs. DO something.

2. Nullification. That´s right. Run a bill through the house in your state refusing to follow this ´law´ that has no standing. Call an emergency session, just like our pal did in NY to pass his overnight gun bill. DO something.

Instead, you run around yammering, acting like you have zero actions you can take. Stand up for your state, IF you have it in you.

We don´t forget, Jan. We remember the tongue bath you gave Oblamer on healthcare after alllll the talk, talk, talk. Yet, what did you do? What have you done yet, besides exactly what Oblamer does? All talk, then the exact opposite of what you were yelling about.

No one trusts you, either. Get the picture? Yet?

Talk is cheap, and rapidly becoming meaningless, as many have figured it out.

"Jan blasts...", "Brewer complains...", "Jan says...."

All talk, no action makes Jan a dull girl, and an excellent target for replacement in the next elections.

I agree with #2. Time to tell the courts to pound sand. If Obama can disobey the law then everyone else should too. Two wrongs do not make a right but a stand must be taken. Brewer needs to order the AZ DMV not to issue licenses to illegals. Close down every DMV if necessary and make the Feds come in guns blazing to draw attention to the lawlessness of Obama. Everyone seems to cower in the face of Obama. Screw him. Enough is enough.

John Kerry has spent much of this week shuttling between Middle Eastern capitals, trying to get Hamas and Israel to put down their guns in Gaza. For his efforts, Kerry probably did not expect to be suspected of being an armed threat himself. Yet that was what briefly happened on Tuesday, when Kerry was stopped by security guards as he entered Cairo´s presidential palace to meet Egypt´s president Abdel Fatah al-Sisi. Footage shows America´s top diplomat being "wanded" with a hand-held electronic scanner. It was a move that raised eyebrows among members of Kerry´s travelling press corps, who said the US

President Obama told Democratic donors Wednesday night that most Americans don’t have time to think about the details of the Benghazi terrorist attack or the problems with Obamacare. Speaking at a fundraiser at the Los Angeles home of “Grey’s Anatomy” and “Scandal” creator Shonda Rhimes, the president took his usual shots at the Republican Party, suggesting its members are focused on the wrong issues and frequently “obfuscate and they bamboozle and sometimes don’t say what’s true.” And because people are not familiar with the intricacies of many public-policy issues, Republicans can get away with such obfuscation, he said. “The Republican

The initiative is aimed at raising awareness, especially among low-income families, about the importance of talking, reading and singing to babies starting from birth.
