Attorney General Eric Holder
Warns of Syria Terror Threat

NBC News, by Pete Willams

Original Article

Posted By:Scottyboy, 7/8/2014 10:20:47 AM

Attorney General Eric Holder urged European countries Tuesday to become more aggressive in countering the threat of Westerners who receive training from terrorists in Syria. "This is a global crisis in need of a global solution," Holder said. "The Syrian conflict has turned that region into a cradle of violent extremism. But the world cannot simply sit back and let it become a training ground from which our nationals can return and launch attacks." He warned that Western democracies cannot be passive. "If we wait for our nations´ citizens to travel to Syria, to become radicalized, and to return home,

Obama and Holder have turned the U.S. government into a center of extremism. Can the Europeans help arrest and prosecute these criminals?

Due to his pathetic anti-American and racist performance as AG, Holder will be looking over his shoulder for the rest of his life after he gets booted out of office. Maybe he and barry will have each other´s back during their retirement. They certainly deserve each other.

Holder´s wording is noteworthy, at least as it´s reported by his media mouthpiece: "Syria terror threat."

Most readers will associate the Syrian government with the terror threat, not the islamic terrorists his administration encouraged and equipped.

Evidently they´re expecting blow-back and preemptively deflecting blame. Clearly, the threat is real.

Appeals court strikes
major blow to Obamacare
Chicago Sun Times, by Staff    Original Article

A federal appeals court has struck a major blow to Obamacare, ruling that premium subsidies are invalid in more than two dozen states. The Hill reports the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals ruled in Halbig v. Burwell that the IRS cannot distribute premium subsidies in the federal Affordable Care Act exchanges, which means consumers have to bear the full cost of insurance. The government is expected to appeal the 2-1 ruling to the full D.C. Circuit, but either way, the case appears to be headed to the Supreme Court.

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) on Tuesday said President Obama´s communication should be stepped up if people have the impression he is too removed. Pelosi, however, said she disagrees with the characterization that Obama is too removed or difficult to access emotionally. "So while I disagree with the characterization, if that is the impression people have, then communication has to be stepped up," she said when asked on MSNBC´s "Morning Joe.” A number of Republicans have criticized Obama´s response to recent crises — in particular his decision to go ahead with a fundraiser after the downing of a commercial airliner over Eastern

Government corruption on the rampage

The Obama administration is arguably the most corrupt administration in U.S. history. Corruption destroys civil society and economic growth by undermining the rule of law and protection of private property. Corruption takes many forms, from the simple payment to a government official for a favor, to the failure of government employees to do what they are paid to do, to gross abuse of power. The president and his senior officials swear to uphold the Constitution and the law — which means following the law as written, and not as they wish it were written. The notion that black men need to act, dress or speak in a certain way to be “authentic” is something that "has to go," President Obama said Monday at an event promoting his initiative to aid young men of color. "The notion that there’s some authentic way of being black, that if you’re going to be black you have to act a certain way and wear a certain kind of clothes, … that has to go, because there are a whole bunch of different ways for African-American men to be authentic," Obama said. Sen. Mark R. Warner’s biggest challenge in his re-election bid may not be his Republican opponent Ed Gillespie, but President Barack Obama’s plummeting approval ratings. Consequently, the Democrat has not made any joint appearances with the president of late. For example, when Obama made a trip across the Potomac River into Virginia on Tuesday, pushing his plan to fix the Federal Highway Trust Fund in McLean, Warner was a no-show. His spokesman said he was tending to Senate business. And in a recent interview in Richmond, Warner dodged a question about whether he would welcome Obama to join him on

The IDF´s initial investigation regarding Hamas´s latest infiltration attempt from Gaza proved shocking Monday, after it revealed that Hamas has been blending into the Israeli side of the border - by replacing their clothing with replicas of IDF uniforms. The terrorists who attempted to infiltrate an Israeli kibbutz earlier Monday changed their headgear for IDF helmets, according to the report, as well as other similar-looking gear. As a result, it said, forces on the ground did not recognize for several minutes that the "unit" within sight was actually a terror cell. The revelation was only uncovered after a commanding officer

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit, often described as the second-highest court in the land, could rule on Halbig v. Burwell as early as tomorrow. Halbig is one of four lawsuits challenging the legality of the health-insurance subsidies the IRS is dispensing in the 36 states that did not establish a health-insurance Exchange under the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, or “ObamaCare,” and thus have Exchanges established by the federal government. Though the PPACA repeatedly states those subsidies are available only “through an Exchange established by the State,” and there are indications IRS officials knew they

Arrested and jailed at 25, then sent to prison more than two years later, Walker couldn´t imagine spending his life behind bars for dealing drugs. He told himself this wasn´t the end, that someday he´d be released. But the years passed, his appeals failed and nothing changed. A pernicious, little-known Obama administration policy – one that that incentivizes adult illegal immigrants to use children as human shields to escape arrest and deportation at the border – largely has escaped the media’s notice. This same policy is driving the historic surge of children at the border, as everyone from coyotes to illegal immigrant adults already in America seeks to use children to guarantee their safe passage into the country, or to protect them from deportation if they are illegally living here. The flood of illegal immigrant children, piling up like human debris on the US border, won’t stop

The NAACP Legal Defense Fund has filed a class action lawsuit against the city of Detroit for water shutoffs that members claim are racially motivated. The Detroit Water and Sewerage Department stopped service to about 7,200 buildings with overdue bills in June, compared to 1,570 in the same month last year. The issue gained national attention last month after activists appealed to the United Nations for help. The shutoffs are “being done in a discriminatory fashion,” the NAACP’s Veronica Joice told a local CBS affiliate. “They should at least take a look at whether there’s a better way to do this that doesn’t affect the most vulnerable citizens

WASHINGTON —Polarization and partisanship are a plague on American politics. Political scientists have found that the two parties have each grown more ideologically homogeneous since the 1970s. The Senate hasn’t been so polarized since Reconstruction; the House has not been so divided since around 1900. As measured by laws passed, the current Congress is on track to be among the least productive in our republic’s history. How did this happen?
