Obama goes fundraising as ISIS head
emerges to preach jihad, killings continue

Shootings, beheadings, hangings and crucifixions continued in ISIS-controlled Iraq over the holiday weekend. The Obama team also took a break from its grueling daily photo-ops designed to change the topic of discussion from all the ongoing Obama predicaments. [Snip] After a brief appearance at a party for military, Obama played golf. This afternoon he’s off for three days of Colorado and Texas fundraisers. Analysts, meanwhile, pored over an unusual videotape released by the terrorists currently conquering Iraq. It purports to show Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, the shadowy head of ISIS, speaking in a Mosul mosque at Friday prayers.

Why shouldn´t Obama relax and enjoy. After all, he´s helped ISLAM..he has empowered them with our Tax money and keeps sending as much as he can to them....while he curses us and Israel.

Rep. Steve Scalise gives the Republican Party’s Weekly Remarks: Good morning, I’m Steve Scalise, representative of Louisiana’s First Congressional District and incoming House Majority Whip. I’m speaking to you from the Old House Chamber, the same room where Abraham Lincoln once served as a member of Congress. And I’m just steps from where House Republicans are working to build a stronger economy and a better future. This is certainly a long way from Jefferson, Louisiana -- a town on the banks of the Mississippi where my wife Jennifer and I are raising our two young children. I’d like to talk to you today about

President Obama’s weekly remarks: Hi, everybody. Over the past 52 months, our businesses have created nearly 10 million new jobs. The unemployment rate has fallen to its lowest point since 2008. Across lots of areas — energy, manufacturing, technology — our businesses and workers are leading again. In fact, for the first time in over a decade, business leaders worldwide have declared that China is no longer the world’s best place to invest — America is. None of this is an accident. It’s thanks to your resilience, resolve, and hard work that America has recovered faster and come farther than almost any other advanced country on Earth.

After another grueling week of photo-ops, speeches and political fundraisers, President Obama is taking a getaway weekend today, up to Camp David. There, he won´t have to learn from the media the news that his arch-rival in the global presidential power sweepstakes, Russia´s Vladimir Putin, has tied a record high approval among his countrymen in a new Gallup Poll out this morning. As Obama wallows in the low 40´s in overall job approval among Americans, with even lower ratings in specific areas, Putin has just scored nearly twice that -- 83% approval.

You may have noticed Texas Gov. Rick Perry on television in recent days talking about the border crisis with Mexico and illegal immigrants streaming into the United States. You may have noticed you couldn't avoid noticing Texas Gov. Rick Perry on television in recent days talking about the border crisis and the worsening illegal immigrant situation. He's been on virtually all the major networks at various times of day speaking to millions about this month's hot issue that he knows intimately as the longest-serving governor in Texas history. He'll leave the Austin capitol next January and, like many Americans, look for a job.

Iowa's Joni Ernst gives the Republican Party's Weekly Remarks.
Hello, this is Joni Ernst. I’m a mother and grandmother, a soldier and proud to be Iowa’s Republican nominee for U.S. Senate. I get asked all the time what made me want to join the military. And the answer is simple. When I was attending college, I went on an agricultural exchange to the Soviet Union. I saw what a nation without freedom looks like. I saw what happens to people when they lose their liberty. When I came home, I decided that it wasn’t enough for me to simply enjoy freedom and liberty. I had to do my part

President Obama's weekly remarks
Hi, everybody. This week, I spent some time in Colorado and Texas, talking with people about what’s going on in their lives. One was Elizabeth Cooper, a college junior this fall. She wrote to tell me something I hear often: how hard it is for middle-class families like hers to afford college. And she shared something I know many of you feel when you wonder what’s going on in Washington. She said she feels “not significant enough to be addressed, not poor enough for people to worry [about], and not rich enough to be cared about.” I ran for President to fight for Americans just like Elizabeth — people who work hard, do everything right,

When Barack Obama was first running for the White House, way back in 2007 when a billion dollars seemed like a lot of money, he presented himself as the Great Uniter. Someone whose freshness, mixed race and background would bridge America´s inherent diversities and even end the "bitter, partisan divide" afflicting Washington. [Snip] At one time or another Obama has pitted Americans against each other by class, education, income, union membership, birth control use, tax status, climate beliefs, gender and wealth. This morning comes a Gallup Poll revealing that Obama splits Americans by religion.

Another busy campaign day on the road for President Obama. Fundraisers in three cities. Speeches. Photo-op games of pool. Filling up his time for the lame duck’s last 924 days. But POTUS ran into a tall problem, a professional pol named Rick Perry, longest-serving Texas governor ever. After collecting coin in Denver, Obama hoped to breeze through Dallas and Austin scooping up more from gullible donors for his hopeless bid to keep the Senate in Harry Reid´s shaky hands on Nov. 4. But Perry´s been preparing the ground for his own media offensive over the disgraceful inundation of suckered humans

There’s nothing like the Fourth of July, a day to bask in America’s glory and to dream of better days ahead. That’s part of the genius of the Declaration of Independence. A land where the people rule, and where the common man or woman can advance themselves and the common good. At a political event in Wilmington, Delaware, on Thursday, President Obama devoted only 40 seconds to the shooting down of the Malaysian airline, his first statement to the world following the news. His emotionless reference to the attack as ‘a terrible tragedy’ seemed disconnected from the horrific moment, particularly as he immediately reverted to script to praise his administration and criticise Republicans. It was a far cry from President Reagan’s 1983 fierce denunciation of the Soviet shooting down of a Korean airliner as a ‘crime against humanity’. But it only confirmed the chaos into which US foreign policy has descended since the summer

LOS ANGELES — Actor James Garner, whose whimsical style in the 1950s TV Western “Maverick” led to a stellar career in TV and films such as “The Rockford Files” and his Oscar-nominated “Murphy’s Romance,” has died, police said. He was 86. He was found dead of natural causes at his home in the Brentwood area of Los Angeles Saturday evening, Los Angeles police officer Alonzo Iniquez said early Sunday. Police responded to a call around 8 p.m. PDT and confirmed Garner’s identity from family members, Iniquez told The Associated Press. There was no immediate word on a more specific cause of death. Garner had suffered a stroke in May 2008, just weeks after his 80th birthday.

Miami - A jury in northwest Florida awarded a staggering $23 billion judgment late Friday against the country’s second-largest tobacco company for causing the death of a chain smoker who died of lung cancer at the age of 36. Michael Johnson Sr. died in 1996 after smoking for more than 20 years. In 2006, his widow, Cynthia Robinson, of Pensacola, sued the R. J. The four-week trial ended Wednesday. The jury deliberated for 18 hours over two days,

Israeli and Egyptian diplomats both claim Egyptian efforts to mediate a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas collapsed as a direct result of Secretary Kerry’s announcement he was prepared to join the talks. A pernicious, little-known Obama administration policy – one that that incentivizes adult illegal immigrants to use children as human shields to escape arrest and deportation at the border – largely has escaped the media’s notice. This same policy is driving the historic surge of children at the border, as everyone from coyotes to illegal immigrant adults already in America seeks to use children to guarantee their safe passage into the country, or to protect them from deportation if they are illegally living here. The flood of illegal immigrant children, piling up like human debris on the US border, won’t stop
