Feds limit reporters on

As members of Congress and reporters ask to visit federal facilities housing children who have been apprehended by the U.S. in recent months, federal officials are slapping limits on members of the news media who want a glimpse inside. For example, an email sent to news organizations by Jesus Garcia, a public affairs officer for the Administration for Children and Families, a division of the Department of Health and Human Services, sets out a number of restrictions on reporters if they want to visit "Unaccompanied Alien Children" being held at Fort Sill in Oklahoma. There was a time the Press would have objected. But, most ´journalists´ are happy to have the Obama administration put a ring in their nose and lead them around on a chain like a prize truffle hog.

With all due respect, the "media" CAN´T and WON´T handle the Truth! They are all lapdogs now and work for pravda-like "news" organizations whose ONLY goal in life is to protect the current occupier and his minions no matter what the cost to the American people! I pray that November is not too late to save what is left of our freedoms. Hyperbole? Hardly.

Montana has never seen a Democratic U.S. Senate candidate like state Rep. Amanda Curtis. Selected by state Democrats last week to replace Democratic Sen. John Walsh on their November ticket after a plagiarism scandal derailed his re-election bid, Curtis is a far cry from the centrist candidates the party tends to field for statewide office in Big Sky Country. Curtis, a 34-year-old math teacher with a nose ring and a background in labor activism, has only one term in the state legislature to her name, and told ABC News she plans to run a progressive, “grassroots” campaign on income inequality and student-loan debt.

What´s A Grand Jury? How Will

The purpose of a grand jury, in theory, is to protect citizens against unfair and unwarranted prosecutions by the government. In medieval England, it was viewed as a protection against the Crown. Colonists found the institution protected them against unfair English prosecutions and included the right to a grand jury in the Fifth Amendment. But in practice, the prosecutor who runs the grand jury has a great deal of influence in orchestrating the outcome. President Obama is still vacationing in Martha´s Vineyard as this is written. But he may have experienced a jolting encounter with a grim reality. The problem with Obama is too often there is no "there, there" with his words on foreign policy issues. Most infamously, he drew a red line Syria, warning of terrible consequences if the Assad regime used chemical weapons. Then, when the Assad regime did use chemical weapons, Obama unexpectedly deferred to Vladimir Putin to broker a deal that rendered the red line irrelevant. Ferguson, MO - Conditions calmed this week in Ferguson after nights of sometimes violent unrest stemming from the fatal shooting of a black 18-year-old by a white police officer. But a delicate and crucial question lingers: What happens if the grand jury now considering the case doesn’t return a charge against the officer? The fear among some local residents and officials trying to maintain peace in Ferguson is that failure to charge the officer could stoke new anger among a community profoundly mistrustful of the legal system. Many say they just hope the grand jury’s decision, whatever it is, has irrefutable facts to back it up.
