´All parties must act with reasonableness and
restraint, not vengeance and retribution´:
Obama pens emotional Op-Ed in Israeli
newspaper Haaretz calling for
two-state Mideast solution

Associated Press, by Staff

Original Article

President Barack Obama called for Israelis and Palestinians alike to restrain themselves and put an end to acts of retribution, in some of his first public comments on the matter since the murder of three Israeli teenagers touched off a new round of violence and deepening mistrust. [Snip] Writing in emotional terms, he said he couldn´t imagine the pain suffered by the parents of the three Israeli teens, but was also heartbroken by the senseless murder of a Palestinian teenager who many suspect was killed as payback. "All parties must protect the innocent and act with reasonableness and restraint, not vengeance

Comments:
Speaking of "reasonableness and restraint," when is Dear Leader going to do something practical about the insurgents on our southern border?

Israel´s enemies have no interest in being "reasonable"" (whatever that means), or using restraint. They are hell bent on vengeance and retribution, as they have been doing for thousands of years.

And, like much of the world, 0bama is acting out Psalm 2 and attempting to redefine the terms of the everlasting covenant. This is presumptuous, and will incur God´s wrath. God is jealous for His people and His piece of real estate, and He is going to win.

Now he´s saying ´All parties must act with reasonableness and restraint, not vengeance and retribution´

He´s insane. Literally.

Hamas and the PLO have said they intend to wipe Israel off the map, and are firing all the rockets they can into Israel every day. That is not restraint, and Obama has not asked, or will he ask, the Palestinians to stop. Israel should bring this to an end by invading and eliminating Hamas.

He makes me sick. He runs around daily "equalizing" America in the eyes of the world and at the same time thinks it´s his job to issue edicts about how other countries should or shouldn´t behave. If he really believes we´re all One World, then why not let the Somalians tell the Israelis how to handle their affairs.
Or maybe he thinks HE is the only one qualified to be grand poohbah of the new equalized world? So we´re all the same. Except him.

The acronym that rhymes with "stuffoo" is appropriate. Until Obama, every president was, more or less, an ally of the only Midle Eastern democracy, a state the United States had a hand in reestablishing in 1948. Enemies of Israel are cursed (e.g., Genesis 12:2-3); ergo, Obama is cursed, and so is the United States as long as he squats in the Oval Office. What a categorical disaster his presidency has been, and will continue to be. There´s nothing American or Christian about him.

Israel´s hawks are the ones with strength of convictions to make concessions in hope that this time it will lead to genuine peace. Predictably, the Palestinians demand more and then launch rockets at Israel. Netanyahu is poised to take the Gaza Strip back if the rockets continue. No one is listening to that irritating dog barking in Washington DC.

Syrian rebels have reportedly taken UN personnel prisoner after they took over the area near the Kuneitra border crossing on the Golan Heights. The UN personnel were stationed on the Syrian side of the border. No confirmation of the story has been issued, and the number of those taken prisoner is also unclear, with some reports saying that “dozens” of personnel have been captured. The reports identified the kidnappers as being members of a group close to Al Qaeda that is fighting soldiers of the regime of Bashar al-Assad. Syrian officials said that they had managed to wrest control of the village

What do you think? Do you think if I write a thought-provoking, probingly-artistic contemporary opera on the subject of Michael Brown’s untimely shooting, it will be met with critical acclaim? [Snip] You remember Leon Klinghofer, don’t you? He was the 69-year-old Jewish man who, in 1985, was pushed off the cruise ship Achille Lauro to his death by Palestinian terrorists. Pushed into the water in his wheelchair. Because he was Jewish. The opera portrays this murder as justified, not only because of Palestinian grievances against Israel, but also by the alleged evil and exploitative actions of Jews against others around

The mystery over the air strikes in Libya’s capital appears to have been cleared up. US officials say that the military jets which bombed targets in Tripoli last week were from the air forces of Egypt and the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
