´All parties must act with reasonableness and
restraint, not vengeance and retribution´:
Obama pens emotional Op-Ed in Israeli
newspaper Haaretz calling for
two-state Mideast solution

Associated Press, by Staff

Original Article

Posted By:Attercliffe, 7/8/2014 8:18:38 AM

President Barack Obama called for Israelis and Palestinians alike to restrain themselves and put an end to acts of retribution, in some of his first public comments on the matter since the murder of three Israeli teenagers touched off a new round of violence and deepening mistrust. [Snip] Writing in emotional terms, he said he couldn´t imagine the pain suffered by the parents of the three Israeli teens, but was also heartbroken by the senseless murder of a Palestinian teenager who many suspect was killed as payback. "All parties must protect the innocent and act with reasonableness and restraint, not vengeance

Comments:
Speaking of "reasonableness and restraint," when is Dear Leader going to do something practical about the insurgents on our southern border?

Israel´s enemies have no interest in being "reasonable"" (whatever that means), or using restraint. They are hell bent on vengeance and retribution, as they have been doing for thousands of years.

And, like much of the world, 0bama is acting out Psalm 2 and attempting to redefine the terms of the everlasting covenant. This is presumptuous, and will incur God´s wrath. God is jealous for His people and His piece of real estate, and He is going to win.

Now he´s saying ´All parties must act with reasonableness and restraint, not vengeance and retribution´

Hamas and the PLO have said they intend to wipe Israel off the map, and are firing all the rockets they can into Israel every day. That is not restraint, and Obama has not asked, or will he ask, the Palestinians to stop. Israel should bring this to an end by invading and eliminating Hamas.

He makes me sick. He runs around daily "equalizing" America in the eyes of the world and at the same time thinks it´s his job to issue edicts about how other countries should or shouldn´t behave. If he really believes we´re all One World, then why not let the Somalians tell the Israelis how to handle their affairs.
Or maybe he thinks HE is the only one qualified to be grand poohbah of the new equalized world? So we´re all the same. Except him.

The acronym that rhymes with "stuffoo" is appropriate. Until Obama, every president was, more or less, an ally of the only Midle Eastern democracy, a state the United States had a hand in reestablishing in 1948. Enemies of Israel are cursed (e.g., Genesis 12:2-3); ergo, Obama is cursed, and so is the United States as long as he squats in the Oval Office. What a categorical disaster his presidency has been, and will continue to be. There´s nothing American or Christian about him.

Israel´s hawks are the ones with strength of convictions to make concessions in hope that this time it will lead to genuine peace. Predictably, the Palestinians demand more and then launch rockets at Israel. Netanyahu is poised to take the Gaza Strip back if the rockets continue. STOCKHOLM - Sweden´s new center-left government will recognize the state of Palestine in a move that will make it the first major European country to take the step, Prime Minister Stefan Lofven said on Friday. The UN General Assembly approved the de facto recognition of the sovereign state of Palestine in 2012 but the European Union and most EU countries, have yet to give official recognition. "The conflict between Israel and Palestine can only be solved with a two-state solution, negotiated in accordance with international law," Lofven said during his inaugural address in parliament.

Norway’s ruling Conservative Party has voted to withdraw their country’s bid from hosting the 2022 Olympics and providing financial guarantees, evaluating the games to be too costly. Prime Minister Erna Solberg commented, “We have received sound advice and there is no reason not to follow it. Jeremy Clarkson has told how he and his Top Gear team were forced to flee Argentina under police escort as furious thugs tried to ´kill´ them. Rock-throwing protesters vowed to ´barbecue´ the controversial motoring show host after a row over the star´s number plate boiled over. I’m always sceptical when I hear scare-mongering claims about diseases. From bird flu to SARS, we’re repeatedly told it’s going to be the new Plague that will wipe everyone out and then…it doesn’t. Probably because the scare-mongering itself makes people take it seriously enough to prevent it spreading. But there is something very sinister and frightening about this Ebola outbreak, which has so far infected 7,100 and killed 3,300. [Snip] It’s hard to think of a more cack-handed, dangerously inept response than what transpired in Dallas. Consider what we now know: Thomas Eric Duncan, a 42-year-old Liberian citizen, had been

Health experts assembled by the White House conceded on Friday that a second case of Ebola could be identified in the U.S. But they defiantly insisted that the epidemic plaguing western Africa will not rise to the level of a major American outbreak. [Snip] But the overall feeling of the sparsely attended afternoon press conference was one of complacency, with the Obama administration´s top Ebola spear-catchers saying over and over that Americans have nothing to fear even though the government has no plans to close airports to planes originating in at the disease´s ground-zero.

Health officials have admitted their response to the potential Ebola outbreak in Texas has been ‘rocky’--amid growing concern over how a patient with the virus was able to get through customs, was initially turned away from hospital with painkllers and Hazmat teams then took five days to properly quarantine his relatives.
