Obama Heads to Texas
American Thinker, by M. Catherine Evans

Original Article

Barack Obama will be in Texas this week to pick up some more payola from his fat cat Democrat friends. He’ll attend fundraisers in Dallas and Austin followed by a speech on the economy at the Paramount Theater so he can stick the taxpayers for the travel bill. But according to his top men, he won’t be hugging any lice-ridden children staying at makeshift shelters on the border. Both his Department of Homeland(DHS) and Press Secretary were asked if Obama would check out the “humanitarian crisis” on the Texas-Mexico border. You know, the place where Border Patrol agents are changing

This phony has no desire to see for himself what is going on-- he will learn this from the media reporting....

oh wait.... there are now 300,000 people since April, a figure let slip by the New York slimes...

This is all by design, and our political representatives sit around ignorant of the invasion.

Hey, he might catch something like TB or scabies. If he were Pres. Bush, the Press would be all over it. Where is Shep when we need him? This is a disaster worse than Katrina! Where is the EPA? Look at the piles of filthy trash along the border! I have seen pictures but not on national news networks. It looks and probably smells worse than a hoarders house after years of hoarding. This is Obama´s legacy. Thanks for nothing. The fact that a 4 year old is missing should stay on the front page just like the Trevon Martin case.

Why won´t he go? Just imagine the optics...the Secret Service would insist that he wear a hazmat suit to protect him from all of the diseases and bugs carried by the little ´migrant´ darlings. Imagine the outrage as he is protected from them but your children and your communities aren´t.

Didn´t the governor of Texas ask Obama to come see the immigration mess down there?

As I see it, Obama´s way of getting even for being dissed by the Gov of Texas is to go to Texas, not meet with the Gov and not address the immigration problem in any significant way whatsoever because, you see, there is no real problem.

More than likely, Obama will say something like, "We have a few glitches in our borders and we will see to it that the people responsible for abusing the illegal immigrants will be brought to justice. All they want is to be citizens. Can you blame them?"

That will immediately precede his granting of blanket amnesty to all these "poor children" and "destitute kids" yearning for a "better life here in America", yearning to breathe free, to be reunited with their (alleged) family members who are already on the dole.

Yes, these best and brightest kids are chafing at the bit, yearning to vote Democrat, and it would be so lacking in compassion to deny them all of this, like the bloodsucking, kitten-killing, puppy-bashing Republicans who want to trip Granny as she´s feebly going up the stairs, then push her down the stairs once she gets up to the top.

Yes, the Republicans would deny these huddled masses from oppressed governments their rights to come to our great shining shores, our city on Capitol Hill, and head directly to the first government welfare office. Second stop, free health care. If they can get the website running.

Nasty-arse Republicans...

It´s never been about the humanity but about future voters.

Can you imagine the sight of Obama wading into a sea of little mijos and mijas as they cry out to Obama with little arms and hands reaching to touch the Messiah?

But Bush hated black people....

This is serious, as what Obama is doing is "seeding" a vast new minority underclass in the USA that he knows will become another liberal Democrat constituency group. The liberal Democrats are using the flood of young illegal aliens to tug at the heart strings of Americans, to get more money out of the Congress to hand to liberal lawyers to defend illegal aliens, and to pressure the Republicans to pass a massive liberal Democrat amnesty and path to citizenship for up to 20 million illegal aliens already here, to allow all their close foreign relatives to come here in unlimited numbers, and to legalize the current flow of illegal aliens now coming into the USA across the borderline.

The liberal Democrats know if that amnesty passes that the young illegal aliens coming in now, along with young illegal aliens here now, are bound to become politically active throughout immigrant communities as they are all granted US citizenship, resulting in the eventual generation of tens of millions of new socialist oriented poor and uneducated Democrat voters in the years ahead.

It does not matter how many fences are built at the borderline, or how many border patrol agents are hired, as long as the President disparages, and undermines the immigration laws by refusing to effectively enforce those laws and instead uses every measure that he can to allow as many illegal aliens as possible to stay in the USA.

Well, sorry, Mom.

I wish this sorry, low-down, good for nothing, selfish, irresponsible "president" would change his mind and make a trip to that border and catch every single disease that is being harbored there. And not recover from any of them.

Obama wants 2 Billion in emergency funding to deal with this. I say take it out of the money wasted on some of his constituents. There are many other reasons why this is nonsense. The last debt ceiling settlement gave Obama a blank cheque till next march with no dollar amount cap. This was handed to him by the cowardly GOP who want to give him all he can spend but don´t like the nasty reaction from their base with each vote. With Obama spending faster and faster the money was running out faster and faster so the votes were coming faster and faster. Each vote was an embarassment to the GOP so they gave him a blank cheque. Now he is looking for another 2 billion emergency funds which he HAS already! Don´t pass any such thing. He won´t use if for the stated purpose and he will tack it on top of an already bloated budget forever more. His audacity is breathtaking but understandable since the GOP cave in so completely every time. An interesting detail he is getting a big donation from the director of "Machete" a movie which ends with the mass murder of people opposed to open immigration! This gives us a clue about the fantasies Obama nurtures and why he stocked up on five bullets for every american in his various federal law enforcement agencies.

This wave of illegal aliens will lower wages, crowd out African-Americans off their neighborhoods, deplete FoodStamps, CHIP and Medicaid, destroy the schools by incorporating Spanish speakers, produce lice and scabies infestations, tuberculosis contagion, and a reservoir of infected blood for transmission of Chagas´ disease trypanosomes (we have plenty of Triatoma blood bugs here) or Dengue, encephalitis and even yellow fever as in the old days (all across the USA we have allowed the mosquito vector Aedes aegypti to proliferate near our homes since the ban of DDT).

Obama and the Democrat Party have given US social and public health crises to remember them by. Unforgettable Hussein Clowen Piven.

Jeff Bell was a reform conservative before it was cool. He’s spent his career arguing with a risk-averse Republican establishment. He pushed Ronald Reagan to embrace the supply-side doctrine of tax cuts before deficit reduction. He spent the 1990s warning the GOP that its tax policy favored investment capital over human capital, corporate interests over working families. He designed a family-friendly flat tax that reduced payroll taxes, increased the child tax credit, taxed capital gains and regular income at the same rate, and ended business expensing. Payroll tax relief and a generous child tax credit are elements of today’s reform

Very few individuals who were not politicians or generals have had a major impact on American political history. Phyllis Schlafly is one of the exceptions. Twice. In 1964, she helped launch the grass-roots conservative movement that flourishes today, transformed by the internet, and in 1972 she inaugurated what came to be called “social conservatism.” More than any other individual, she was responsible for the nomination of Barry Goldwater, and thus, indirectly, Ronald Reagan. And virtually single-handedly, she defeated the so-called Equal Rights Amendment. Schlafly was born 90 years ago today in St. Louis, the daughter of John and Odile Stewart.

Grand jurors charged Perry, 63, with abuse of official capacity, a first-degree felony, and coercion of a public official. The indictments stemmed from Perry’s threat last summer to withhold $7.2 million in state money from Lehmberg’s office unless she step down – a threat he later carried out by vetoing an appropriation in the state budget.
