President Obama would “welcome” a meeting this week with Texas Gov. Rick Perry (R) to discuss the border crisis, White House senior adviser Valerie Jarrett wrote in a letter to Perry late Monday. “The President would welcome a meeting with you while he is in Texas. In addition, he asked me to invite you to join him for a meeting to discuss the situation on the border with faith leaders and local elected officials in Dallas on Wednesday,” she said. Jarrett highlighted the Obama administration’s efforts so far to handle the crisis at the border. Since October, about 52,000 unaccompanied

Yeah, right. His idea of ´discussion´ has nothing in common with what the concept means. Kind of like his idea of ´bipartisan´.

Perry could show up in his black tennis shoes and horn rimmed glasses with a satchel for the federal dough he wants to pay for law enforcement overtime...there´s something for everyone in all this, especially for the Republicrats.

All Jarrett wants is the photo op. She thinks it will substitute nicely for Obama actually visiting the border.

Rick Perry knows that the idea is that Obama and his handpicked pals (ie, "faith leaders and local elected officials,") would love to use Perry as a pinata.

The Governor needs to attend to more important business. Like cleaning out his sock drawer.

What is Obama´s Chief of Staff´s name? Is he just a figurehead? What do we pay him to do? It seems as if Valerie is Obama´s architect. Why doesn´t the Press vilify her like they did Karl Rove? In fact, she does even more than Rove did. We are in this mess because of her and she does not get the credit or blame. She and Holder should be thrown under the bus before our great Republic goes down in defeat!

Within a few days, the Gallup Poll and the Battleground Poll provided more polling data that demonstrates just how much conservatives outnumber liberals in America. The Gallup Poll, in its August 26 “State by State: Key Metrics for 2014,” provided data that reveals that in all but three states – Hawaii, Vermont, and Massachusetts – conservatives outnumber liberals. This is consistent with all prior Gallup Poll results for many years. In a few of these polls, conservatives have outnumbered liberals in every state of the nation, and in a few of these polls, liberals outnumber conservatives in one or two

The British government on Sunday pledged greater fiscal autonomy for Scotland, after a poll put the pro-independence camp ahead for the first time ahead of the September 18 referendum on separation. British finance minister George Osborne said greater tax and spending powers would be announced in the coming days, to be legislated for immediately if Scotland votes to retain the 300-year-old union with England. The offer came after a YouGov poll in The Sunday Times newspaper gave the pro-independence "Yes" camp 51 percent support compared to the "No" camp´s 49 percent, excluding undecided voters.
