Report: Costco Orders Removal of All

World Net Daily reported, via Free Republic: The retail giant Costco Wholesale has issued an order to remove all copies of Dinesh D’Souza’s bestselling book, “America: Imagine the World Without Her,” from the shelves of its stores nationwide, WND has confirmed. The book, in this midterm election year, is a strong rebuttal of the progressive ideology behind President Obama’s policies, which have been supported by Costco co-founder and director Jim Sinegal, a major Democrat donor and a speaker at the 2012 Democratic National Convention that nominated the president. A Washington Post political reporter has noted Obama’s “romance” with the nation’s

Sam´s Club carries the book.

When is the lib "friend of Barrack" planning his book burning?

The chaos manager in cheif is big buds with the head proprietor of Costco. He can sell whatever he wants, but to take it off the shelves shows a tremendous bias against free thought.

I will never shop there. I hope like-minded people will spend their hard-earned dollars somewhere else as well.

This is just another example of the Tolerant Leftwing loonies.

Can you imagine if Sam´s refused to carry a book from a liberal? The media would go insane.

#11...I hope it isn´t GEICO. I originally went with them because they catered to the military. However, after shafting my daughter, blaming her for an accident the other person actually caused, and shafting me a year later (demanding my mechanic use after market parts rather than original) we both left them and went with USAA, a true friend of the military. They were also cheaper than GEICO on car insurance, at least at that time.

#16 USAA is cheaper butthey aren´t exactly friends of the military. I was a passenger in a car wreck a few years ago. Everyone involved in both cars were USAA members including me but I still had to get a lawyer and threaten them with a lawsuit before they would even talk to me about a settlement even though there was no doubt as to who as fault.

Also I friend went to make an extremely large withdraw and USAA only released the funds after he threatened them with a class action lawsuit.

Jim Sineagal is nothing but a big democrat donating Obama ankle bender. His vomitous speech at the 2012 anti-Christian democrat national convention gagfest says all you need to know about this loser. Despite what this leftist moron and his ilk think D´Souza´s book as well as his movie will do very well. Especially in this election year. Companies like Costco, Progressive, Target and Starbuck better take heed. No company survives long pulling foolish stunts like this. Barnes and Noble learned that fact a couple of years ago. That´s one of the reasons they´ve been on the ropes ever since.

Once upon a time you could depend on The Press to do investigative reporting. No longer. If all copies of a hot-selling book are removed from a stores shelves, someone at the top gave the order. I don´t understand they slaps at WND. Either the CEO and Chairman of the Board are big lefties are big Dems or they aren´t. If they are, its a legitimate of intended censorship.

President Barack Obama, who in his political dotage is enthusiastically getting in touch with his inner Otto von Bismarck to such an extent that we half expect him to start sporting a walrus mustache and a pickelhaube, on Saturday treated the ailing republic to another lecture on the theme of “economic patriotism,” by which he means an arrangement under which companies adopt tax strategies that maximize the amount of money they send to President Obama and his colleagues to dispose of as they see fit. He demanded that companies “embrace an economic patriotism,” presumably one defined by Barack Obama, rather

With no fanfare—well, maybe a little fanfare—House Republicans by the end of this week will officially have a brand new majority leader, a new majority whip, and just 12 scheduled legislative days remaining before it´s time to pick yet another new slate of leaders. This all happens, technically, after the stroke of midnight Thursday, commemorated in a notification by Republicans to the House clerk declaring that as of Aug. 1, Kevin McCarthy is the majority leader and Steve Scalise is the new majority whip. For millions of black Americans, Barack Obama´s legacy is not going to be Obamacare, nor his decision to move troops out of Iraq, nor what he does about immigration. No, it will be the image of him as a black father - of him, for example, standing at the White House and declaring, after the 2012 racially charged killing of black teenager Trayvon Martin, "this could have been my son." For all the accusations that Obama waffles and wavers when it comes to controversial issues affecting African Americans, there is a widespread perception of him as the model of black fatherhood. It

When the public is more afraid of the cops than the bad guys, the system is broken. There’s reason for some law-abiding Americans to worry about their pocketbook becoming lighter after a visit from the lawman. Bonnie and Clyde never pretended to be anything but robbers. A 64-year-old Texas woman, for example, was accused of being a drug dealer simply because she was carrying cash in her pickup truck from the sale of her land. The cops took her money, though she had never been convicted of a crime in her life. She had to sue in federal court to get all of her money back. Garlock Sealing Technologies, founded in 1887, originally produced seals for rods in locomotive steam engines. Over the years, it used asbestos in gaskets and valves. When the age of asbestos lawsuits began, it was deluged with nearly a million claims. It has the potential to be a watershed moment, and not just for the bird, whose numbers have been in steady decline for a half-century. When The Times of Israel’s Avi Issacharoff first reported the content of John Kerry’s ceasefire proposal on Friday afternoon, I wondered if something had gotten lost in translation. It seemed inconceivable that the American secretary of state would have drafted an initiative that, as a priority, did not require the dismantling of Hamas’s rocket arsenal and network of tunnels dug under the Israeli border. Yet the reported text did not address these issues at all, nor call for the demilitarization of Gaza. A leading drug policy researcher, David Murray, has a must-read piece up at the Hudson Institute website, "Comparing Marijuana and Alcohol: Seriously." Murray´s article is a devastating deconstruction of claims that marijuana is relatively safe, or at least safer than alcohol. And, as he points out, it thereby undermines much of the basis of the New York Times´s blithely irresponsible editorial endorsement of marijuana legalization. Read Murray´s whole piece. Here are highlights: It’s a remarkable weekend when one finds the Grey Lady arguing for state’s rights, and worrying huffily about arbitrary Presidential powers. But when it comes to smoking dope, the mind

Geraldo Rivera hates it whenever any one around him refers to people illegally crossing the border as “illegals.” On Monday’s edition of Outnumbered he challenged FNC’s Ainsley Earhardt when she dared to use that phrase in his presence. Rivera barked: “Every time you say ‘illegals,’ it’s like fingernails on a black board!” Well Earhardt, along with a few of her co-panelists, fought back against Rivera’s insistence that the border-crossers were “law-abiding.” (video after the jump) The following is the relevant exchange as it was aired on the July 28 edition of FNC’s Outnumbered: Andrea Tantaros: Ainsley how does this move,

As she also did with NBC’s Brian Williams, who interviewed Clinton after she was hired by the network as a “special correspondent” — albeit one with no journalism experience. Her starting salary: $600,000 a year. “For most of my life I did deliberately

The Catholic Church—through the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops’ Committee on Migration—both paved the road for Barack Hussein Obama’s ultimate takeover of Free West society and continues to actively enable the Fundamental Transformation of America by sinking the US in a tsunami of illegal aliens. In coming to Obama’s aid in erasing forever America’s borders, the bishops sold the USA out, including its Catholics, for the proverbial 30 pieces of silver. In biblical terms, Obama and the Catholic bishops—who both birthed his progress to the seat of power and back him on his Fundamental Transformation mission—are in in league with the devil.
