Report: Costco Orders Removal of All

World Net Daily reported, via Free Republic: The retail giant Costco Wholesale has issued an order to remove all copies of Dinesh D’Souza’s bestselling book, “America: Imagine the World Without Her,” from the shelves of its stores nationwide, WND has confirmed. The book, in this midterm election year, is a strong rebuttal of the progressive ideology behind President Obama’s policies, which have been supported by Costco co-founder and director Jim Sinegal, a major Democrat donor and a speaker at the 2012 Democratic National Convention that nominated the president. A Washington Post political reporter has noted Obama’s “romance” with the nation’s

Sam´s Club carries the book.

When is the lib "friend of Barrack" planning his book burning?

The chaos manager in cheif is big buds with the head proprietor of Costco. He can sell whatever he wants, but to take it off the shelves shows a tremendous bias against free thought.

I will never shop there. I hope like-minded people will spend their hard-earned dollars somewhere else as well.

This is just another example of the Tolerant Leftwing loonies.

Can you imagine if Sam´s refused to carry a book from a liberal? The media would go insane.

#11...I hope it isn´t GEICO. I originally went with them because they catered to the military. However, after shafting my daughter, blaming her for an accident the other person actually caused, and shafting me a year later (demanding my mechanic use after market parts rather than original) we both left them and went with USAA, a true friend of the military. They were also cheaper than GEICO on car insurance, at least at that time.

#16 USAA is cheaper butthey aren´t exactly friends of the military. I was a passenger in a car wreck a few years ago. Everyone involved in both cars were USAA members including me but I still had to get a lawyer and threaten them with a lawsuit before they would even talk to me about a settlement even though there was no doubt as to who as fault.

Also I friend went to make an extremely large withdraw and USAA only released the funds after he threatened them with a class action lawsuit.

Jim Sineagal is nothing but a big democrat donating Obama ankle bender. His vomitous speech at the 2012 anti-Christian democrat national convention gagfest says all you need to know about this loser. Despite what this leftist moron and his ilk think D´Souza´s book as well as his movie will do very well. Especially in this election year. Companies like Costco, Progressive, Target and Starbuck better take heed. No company survives long pulling foolish stunts like this. Barnes and Noble learned that fact a couple of years ago. That´s one of the reasons they´ve been on the ropes ever since.

Once upon a time you could depend on The Press to do investigative reporting. No longer. If all copies of a hot-selling book are removed from a stores shelves, someone at the top gave the order. I don´t understand they slaps at WND. Either the CEO and Chairman of the Board are big lefties are big Dems or they aren´t. If they are, its a legitimate of intended censorship.

IT TOOK just a few words for state Sen. Chris McDaniel to stoke tea party fervor after his runoff loss in the Mississippi Republican primary to incumbent Sen. Thad Cochran. “We’re not done fighting,” he said defiantly to the June 24 election-night crowd. A messy primary was about to get worse. Mr. McDaniel, who lost by about 7,600 votes, claimed that there were voting “irregularities,” insisting that those who voted in the June 3 Democratic primary illegally cast ballots three weeks later in the Republican runoff. He also argued that many voters broke an obscure and unenforceable Mississippi law that

High-ranking U.S. officials said Wednesday that not only are Sunni radicals with the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant “worse than al Qaeda,” but that the group has a message for the president: “We’re coming for you, Barack Obama.” Brett McGurk, the deputy assistant secretary of state, told lawmakers at a House Foreign Affairs Committee hearing that ISIL may have “changed its name,” but that it’s still al Qaeda. (Snip) Elissa Slotkin, the acting principal deputy undersecretary of Defense for policy, added that ISIL also has its eye on the president, threatening “We’re coming for you, Barack Obama,” The Hill reported.

On Saturday, more than 200 volunteers spread out across Vermont for the annual loon survey. The results of the survey are trickling in, but Eric Hanson of the Vermont Center for Ecostudies and the coordinator of the Vermont Loon Conservation Project, said there are many more birds now than just a few years ago. He said 15 years ago there were around 100 loons. In 1983, biologists counted only 29. "It is a decent, stable population. I'm hoping that actually things do start to level out.
