Behind Harry Reid’s war

Politico, by Kenneth P. Vogel

At first, it seemed like just another example of Harry Reid being Harry Reid. The Senate majority leader, whose unscripted attacks can veer into bellicosity and take liberties with facts, spoke on the Senate floor last October and appeared to blame billionaire industrialists Charles and David Koch for the government shutdown. “By shutting down the government,” Reid said, “we’re satisfying the Koch brothers and Ed Meese, but millions of people in America are suffering.” In January, he went further, accusing the Kochs of “actually trying to buy the country.” His staff affectionately refers to such ad libs as Reid “getting out

Harry Reid is an imbecile and an excellent example of why you should never elect a democrat to any public office. Democrats do not know how to govern; they only know how to rule.

In truth, Dirty Harry is more upset about the SC´s ruling on the SEIU where all those Medicaid home workers don´t have to pay dues anymore. All that money lost to the demonrat money machine. His idea for campaign finance reform is to ONLY allow libtard 1 percenters and unions to donate so all the money goes in libtard demonrat coffers, not to mention his own private riches.

Dirty Harry earned his handle by playing dirty. David Brock summed up their strategy. Tell them that the Koch brothers are working against the middle class and stick to it. In other words, lie about what they are doing and make the suckers believe it. The Democrats are blatantly evil and will do anything to keep their power and money.

Harry Reid is only one ADDICTED to Koch!

Why? Because he cannot talk about all the other stuff. It´s all BO, Harry, and the liberals fault. Well, maybe not the car accident but you can never be sure.

Harry Reid is talking about Koch because he doesn´t care at all about the problems of the country or the world. All he wants to do is win an election by ANY means necessary. At this time he has to bury a mountain of liberal responsibility for all our problems with lies, hate, and distortion.

He is willing, even eager to do so. He is a reprehensible person.

Texas Gov. Rick Perry has been indicted for violating Texas Penal Code § 36.03, which provides: A person commits an offense if by means of coercion he … influences or attempts to influence a public servant in a specific exercise of his official power or a specific performance of his official duty or influences or attempts to influence a public servant to violate the public servant’s known legal duty …. (Gov. Perry was also indicted under another statute, which I won’t discuss in this post.) The conflict in eastern Ukraine is entering a new and highly dangerous phase. The Ukrainian army is poised for the final drive into Donetsk, the capital of Russian-backed separatists. A convoy of some 40 Russian vehicles, including two dozen armored personnel carriers and support trucks, was reported entering Ukrainian territory where it was shelled by Ukrainian artillery. The Ukrainian government says it destroyed several vehicles, and almost certainly there have been losses among Russian military personnel. Russian President Vladimir Putin, meanwhile, addressed Russian parliamentarians in Crimea, apparently assembled there to demonstrate that the Black Sea territory is Russian, period.

It may be the least of HealthCare.gov’s many, many problems, but the Obamacare website still features web pages full of nonsense filler language. The Weekly Standard located a series of pages on HealthCare.gov that feature ‘Lorem ipsum’ text, a dummy language used by graphic designers to hold a place until the information is ready. The website’s instructions on “How to appeal a Marketplace decision, directions for immigrants and, most ironically, “Why Health Coverage is Important” are filled with “Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet…” instead of any information on getting health coverage.

Lawmakers use the adjective, too. “It was a difficult, difficult decision, but it was the right one,” Nevada Assemblywoman Lucy Flores said last month in defending her choice to have an abortion at age 16. Texas Governor Rick Perry was indicted Friday on charges of abuse of power—a first degree felony—and coercion—a third degree felony. There is news this week that Democrats will invest a stunning $9.1 million to back first-term incumbent Senator Kay Hagan in North Carolina. Hagan is being challenged by Republican state House Speaker Thom Tillis. This occurs just after the latest Washington Post Election Lab survey rates Hagan’s chances of re-election at 99%. A Travis County grand jury today indicted Gov. Rick Perry on two charges related to his effort last year to force District Attorney Rosemary Lehmberg to resign after her drunken driving arrest. Grand jurors charged Perry, 63, with abuse of official capacity, a first-degree felony, and coercion of a public official. The indictments stemmed from Perry’s threat last summer to withhold $7.2 million in state money from Lehmberg’s office unless she step down – a threat he later carried out by vetoing an appropriation in the state budget. The money was earmarked for the state’s Public Integrity Unit, which is housed in Lehmberg’s office. Perry’s veto forced

Perry wanted Lehmberg to resign because she had been busted for drunk driving. A grand jury in Travis County, Texas, indicted Governor Rick Perry today. Why? For exercising his constitutional prerogative by threatening to veto, and then vetoing, an appropriation to support the public corruption unit in Travis County’s district attorney’s office. This followed the arrest of the county’s district attorney, Democratic Party activist Rosemary Lehmberg, for drunk driving, after she was found “with an open bottle of vodka in the front passenger seat of her car in a church parking lot in Austin.” Ms. Lehmberg served 45 days in jail. The Travis County district attorney’s office has long been a cesspool of corruption.
