Harry Reid: ‘We’re going to

Politico, by Seung Min Kim

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid said Monday that Democrats will take up legislation in the “coming weeks” to address last month’s Supreme Court decision that allowed some employers with religious objections to opt out of Obamacare’s contraception mandate. Democrats on Capitol Hill have overwhelmingly criticized the high court’s ruling in the Hobby Lobby case and are working to craft a response that would restore the coverage, though no specifics have yet been outlined. “We’re going to do something about the Hobby Lobby legislation,” Reid said on the Senate floor Monday as he ticked off the Senate’s to-do list over the

Second, Even Boehner isn´t stupid enough to let a Dem Senate bill come to the floor of the House.. Talk big Harry and carry a feather duster casue that is all this is.

You miss the point, folks. Harry et al could not give a fig about women getting contraceptives (or healthcare for that matter). They just want the illusion that they care so they can sway low info voters.

Besides, in what universe does it make sense that an employer be required to buy contraceptives for employees?

Harry Reid is a moron. Does he really think that people won´t work for a company because it won´t cover Ella or one of the other 3 methods that kill the fertilized egg. Seriously, we´re only talking about the situation in which the woman isn´t on the free pill and the guy didn´t use a free condom. Are people really going to turn down a job with benefits because they have to pay for one treatment after unprotected sex? Try it Harry, you might find out what people think outside the DC bubble.

Only a LoFo will believe it is about contraceptives. Abortion does not prevent conception, it is birth control only because it prevents a live birth, but the four types of birth control that Hobby Lobby objected to were all abortifacients, that destroy a fertilized egg, or if you prefer, kill the beginning of a baby.

Words have meanings, and we all need to explain the meanings of the words that are being misused by the LIEberals.

Why does no one in the media or the government point out that women who work at Hobby Lobby are NOT being denied contraceptives? They have the option of 16 different contraceptives... just not the four that induce pharmaceutical abortions by destroying a fertilized egg? If a woman wishes to kill her fetus, however, she may still do so with assistance from Planned Parenthood, or by purchasing the killing drug herself. This is America, after all--where no one need take personal responsibility for the result of their sexual conduct, and where women and children are used as pawns in political power plays.

Perhaps Harry Reid and all congressional advocates of abortion rights should reflect on the Sixth Commandment and take the time to read Genesis 18:9-10, Judges 13:2-3, Jeremiah 1:5, Luke 1:13, and Luke 1:31-33. These verses from the Bible foretell the births of Isaac, Samson, Jeremiah, John the Baptizer, and Jesus.
