John Walsh Takes on NRA, Vows

“The Hunt” host says Vice President Joe Biden agreed with him that politicians are “scared s—less” of the NRA Piers Morgan is gone from CNN, but new host John Walsh plans to continue his campaign for gun control. Besides hosting “America´s Most Wanted” and advocating for victims’ rights, Walsh has been a longtime advocate of background checks and other safety measures. He said he would continue that fight now that he is joining CNN as the host of “The Hunt,” a new show about catching fugitives. “I am the guy that has seen both sides of the issue,” Walsh told

This really disappoints me. He has done incredible work in finding missing children. His close association with Biden is beyond disturbing. And for Biden to say they are scared of the NRA because they will run a "tea bagger" against them is appalling! Stay classy Joe.

These people fail to realize that the "NRA" is simply representing the interests of the millions of people who support the NRA both financially and philosophically. It is quite simple: leftists hate free people and work tirelessly to deny basic civil rights.

Mr Walsh can bring it on. His anti-gun moonbattery unfortunately eclipses any good that he has done in his life. Crazy uncle Joe hasn´t really done anything good with the exception of calling to attention the danger of low information voters.

John, you... You´re...

Words fail me. John, the ONLY way gun control can work, is if, World-wide, you ban the manufacture of guns. And that won´t work, ´cause you´d have to ban machine shops - and foundries. And ban the production of chemicals that can be made into explosives.

Anyone who can work metal and mix carbon, sulfur and saltpeter can make a gun, and you can be sure that criminals will be the first to get the best.

If by some act of god, chemicals became unavailable, you might remember the air gun Louis and Clark took with them, which was capable of firing multiple shots and killing large game.

And worst comes to worse, there are always sticks and stones. I think Cain found these very effective.

You are delusional, John. That´s the word I was looking for!!

So long as there might be criminals out there with guns there will be citizens ready to protect their family and property with guns. Deal with it!

Background checks are supposedly in place to stop criminals from purchasing firearms. Felons attempting to purchase a firearm are committing a crime. Care to guess how many felons that have attempted to purchase a gun have been arrested and prosecuted? Hint: the number has a zero in it.

So, all these laws are really intended to do is make it harder for a law abiding citizen to purchase a firearm. I wonder why that is?

Cardinal Francis George, head of the Catholic archdiocese of Chicago, said the levers of power in government, education, entertainment, and media are enforcing a “public creed,” a “fake church” that requires all citizens to approve of gay marriage and related sexual anomalies or be punished by the State, just “as Christians and Jews are fined for their religion in countries governed by Sharia law.” (Snip) The State, in the past, had “kept its promise to protect all religions and not become a rival to them, a fake church,” said the cardinal. The politically divisive legacy of ObamaCare has vulnerable Democrats trying to downplay their past support of the legislation ahead of Election Day – by criticizing the president’s execution of the law or by sidestepping the issue altogether. Lately, Democrats in tough Senate races have been slamming President Obama for breaking his pledge that everyone could keep their health plans and doctors "no matter what." Louisiana Sen. Mary Landrieu, locked in a race with Republican Rep. Bill Cassidy, says of Obama in a recent ad: "This is a promise you made. This is a promise you should keep." What’s the point of a speech, a primetime address to the nation, where no new information will be conveyed? Couldn’t the media just replay one of his old speeches on ISIS?
