Hamas militants in Gaza have fired ´dozens´ of rockets into southern Israel after six of its men died in an Israeli airstrike, the Islamist group said. The bombardment was confirmed by the Israeli army which said militants had launched ´a few dozen rockets´ within a short period of time. [Snip] At least four rockets were intercepted over Netivot by the Iron Dome anti-missile system, while another 16 struck the area around the southern city of Beersheva, some 40 kilometres (25 miles) from Gaza, and which is home to 200,000 people, the army said. What the Palestinian cockroaches do not seem to realize that if Israel takes the gloves off, they are toast! One of these days their little missiles are going to hit something that will enrage the Israelis into a retaliation effort they will not believe!

Our insane president has attacked Israel every time it defends itself. And yet leftist Jews in the US continue to support Obama. I don´t get it.

#2 is correct, the Muslim cockroaches will never live in peace with Israel or any other democracy. Sad, but the only thing they understand or respect is force. Time to unleash massive force.

Otherwise, we will not survive as a free country.

It too brave Polish horseman warriors to defeat the Muslims at the Battle of Vienna, or Europe would already be under evil sharia law. Time to mount up again.

The one thing I will never forgive GW Bush for is the ´religion of peace´ crap. It is not and never has been. Since when does a ´religion of peace´ call for the murder of those who convert to another religion? ONLY Muslims have that as Holy Writ. That is just one example. And with NO apologies to ´American peaceful Muslims´. Peaceful my saddle sores.

Yep, the "religion of peace" meme was a huge mistake. I understand why but it was a boneheaded idea that gave the terrorists cover. Theirs is not a religion of peace or we would not see such brutality in its name. If the "moderates" don´t like that then they need to reform their religion and excommunicate the terrorists.

As for Israel, they are now trying to clean up the mess that Obama has made in the Middle East. Look no further than his skinny behind to see that he is the one who has emboldened them to escalate the violence against Israel by enabling them with his weakness. Obama has set the Middle East on fire and looks around and says, "Who me?"

Note the Palestinian slant; pictures of little girls, teenaged boys. No pictures of the dead Jewish boys from Israel? This is propaganda at its worst and shows how pictures manipulate emotions.

No doubt there is carnage in the "Palestinian targets", but if they would stop strapping bombs to themselves in crowded marketplaces and blowing up Israelis, maybe some of this would calm down.

When is the last time an Israeli strapped a bomb to himself and deliberately blew up a crowded night club or restaurant, with innocent civilians? Right. Never.

These reprisals come after long periods of great patience from Israel. They have decided "never again" again.

I have said for years that Israel needs to tell everyone in the Gaza strip and the Israeli state of Palestine that they have 24 hours to get themselves to Syria or Egypt (whichever is closer) and then send the Israeli army in to clean house.

Think of it like the fumigation that will be undertaken at the People´s House in January 2017.

#´s 14 & 15: On June 29th, we had a fantastic video of Brigitte Gabriel in the Must Reads here:

http://www.mrctv.org/videos/heritage-foundation-panelist-radical-islam

It is well worth viewing again. Her recurring theme, as she enumerated the major atrocities of the 20th century, was: "And the peaceful majority was irrelevant."

Picking up her theme, it is safe to say that "moderate" Muslims who remain silent -- and those of us who do not vigorously protest the roaring loss of US sovereignty occurring at our southern (non)border -- are today´s peaceful majority. They (and we) are IRRELEVANT!

Proportional Response; the strategy that has perpetuated this conflict since WWII. Until the peaceful Palestinians(?) fear Israel more then they do the terrorist savages living in their midst this will go on. A policy of EXTREME RESPONSE (I call it Nuke and Pave) will shorten this conflict and, in the long run, save lives.

U.S. President Barack Obama will welcome Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu to the White House on October 1, AFP reported on Monday. The meeting will come as a U.S. drive for a nuclear deal with Iran reaches a crucial point. Netanyahu reportedly responded to the pressure by telling the administration "not to ever second guess me again," after Hamas committed one of its many ceasefire violations. Barren land, dams with no water reaching them, boats anchored in dried-up reservoirs and shrinking lake levels. These extraordinary images show the devastating impact the worst droughts in decades is having on the American West - and forecasters have predicted it is likely to continue. Around 430,000 acres of land will be left fallow in California - because there hasn´t been enough rain or snow coming from the nearby mountain ranges. Farmers - who are daily facing the prospect of losing their jobs and everything they have - are hoping for relief this winter, but the situation still remains dire.

Tony Blair is right. Before you harrumph and turn away, listen to his argument. It is--in short--that there is a global threat from militant Islamism. That it is spreading--and it is getting worse. And that we must act. It is clear that there is a fundamental problem with radical Islamism; clear that it is deep; clear that the solutions are not easy or presently to hand; clear that this is the work of a generation, not an election cycle; and clear--most important of all--that this is "our" challenge and not simply "theirs". It was once said, “religion is designed to comfort the afflicted and to afflict the comfortable.” Jesus’ parables – short stories with moral lessons – were likewise designed to afflict, to draw us in but leave us uncomfortable. These teachings can be read as being about divine love and salvation, sure. But, their first listeners – first century Jews in Galilee and Judea – heard much more challenging messages. Only when we hear the parables as Jesus’ own audience did can we fully experience their power and find ourselves surprised and challenged today. The march to address climate change, billed as the largest in history, is occurring two days before President Obama and world leaders attend a summit dealing with the same issue at the United Nations. U.N. Secretary General Ban Ki-moon — who has fought passionately against global warming — along with celebrities, CEOs and activists are expected to descend on the city for the massive event.
