White House begs Congress to allow

immigrant children and claims
most will NOT be allowed to stay

President Barack Obama´s chief spokesman said Monday that most on the tens of thousands of unaccompanied illegal immigrant children crossing the U.S.-Mexico border are unlikely to qualify for humanitarian relief that would prevent them from being sent back from their home countries. The pointed warning came as the White House prepared to send a funding request to Congress detailing the additional money Obama wants to spend hiring more immigration judges and opening new detention facilities to deal with the border crisis. White House officials told the Associated Press that they planned to ask Congress for more than $2 billion on

Comments:
"Unlikely." Not very definite, is it? And "more than $2 billion" for the cost of seeing if the little darlinsg must be deported or not. If Congress would only turn down the request and instead substitute a bill to send them back NOW.

We do NOT need to be wasting our tax dollars sending these children back to their home countries!!!

We need to send them right back over the border into Mexico, since Mexico allowed them free passage through their country to the US border. The Mexicans can then waste their tax dollars sending them back home if they don´t want them!!!

I agree w/ #1 insofar as we should not have to pay to send them back. BUT, seeing as dropping them off in Mexico isn´t likely, I would rather congress only authorize money for one-way tickets to their home countries than have to support their every need for the rest of their lives.

This is a lie.

They need to be deported to just the other side of the border with Mexico (who is allowing them to traverse their territory) and left there. Their parents can come get them.

These kids are NOT our responsibility nor should we be taking care of them.

Obama and Congress had better not screw the American taxpayers by voting money for illegals. PUSH or KICK them back over the border and tell Mexico´s President to come get them. We Americans have had IT! NO MORE.
I don´t care how they get home, just get them out of OUR country.

Congress needs to get back to DC and pass a law overturning the 2008 law which calls for a lengthy evaluation and deportation proceeding of every non-Mexican chile that comes here before they can be deported. With this law on the books these child illegals cannot be just deported or dumped in Central America somewhere. Nothing can be done til Congress acts.

British Isis hostage John Cantlie has appeared in a new propaganda video on behalf of the terrorist group, criticising Obama´s ´disappointingly predictable military strategy´ against the terror group. Wearing an orange Guantanamo-style jumpsuit and speaking directly to the camera, Cantlie attacks the West´s plans to use Iraqi troops and Syrian rebels to fight Isis. Given how completely Barack Obama´s foreign policy has been upended by the rise of Isil in Syria, it is not surprising that the president should try and gloss over the scale of his own miscalculation when it came to the threat posed by the jihadists--but that doesn´t mean he should be allowed to get away with it. This weekend Mr Obama had the cheek to blame his intelligence agencies for the fact that the White House was "caught by surprise" by the sudden rise of Isil, publicly throwing James Clapper, his Director of National Intelligence, under the bus for failing

Fierce fighting has been reported on the outskirts of Baghdad where ISIS militants are attempting to seize control of the Iraqi capital--despite ongoing Western airstrikes against the terror group. The fighting is taking place just one mile to the west of the city, with government forces desperately trying to hold off the militants, who allegedly killed up to 1,000 soldiers during clashes yesterday. Brave Kurdish soldiers battling Islamic State militants in northern Syria have converted tractors and lorries into tanks by adding metal plates to create Mad Max-style road warriors. The peshmerga troops were forced to take the initiative and create their own armoured vehicles after the far better equipped ISIS jihadists repeatedly got the better of the Kurds´ Soviet-era military fleet. The manuscript, a book of 34 religious songs, was given to Henry VIII as a lavish gift from a French diplomat in his early reign. Containing songs referencing Henry and his then-bride Catherine of Aragon, it is considered the most "luxurious" surviving diplomatic gift of its kind. It remained in the Royal Collection after the king´s death, and was later given to the nation
