White House: Most Kids at
Border Won´t Stay in US

Associated Press, by Charles Babington

WASHINGTON -- The White House said Monday that most unaccompanied children arriving at the U.S.-Mexico border are unlikely to qualify for humanitarian relief that would prevent them from being sent back from their home countries. The pointed warning came as the White House finalized a spending request to Congress detailing the additional resources President Barack Obama wants in order to hire more immigration judges and open additional detention facilities to deal with the border crisis. White House officials said they planned to send the more than $2 billion request to lawmakers on Tuesday. White House spokesman Josh Earnest

Comments:
Oh, I feel better already. Don´t you? We´ll pretend we don´t know that those kids will be dispersed across the country and it won´t matter if they would have "qualified".

How about just closing and securing the border and save all of that 2 billion "big spender" wants to waste trying to correct his mistakes.

He was warned this was going to happen but just continues to stumble along doing his best, with all of his left wing administration, to destroy our country.

As Texas health officials continue to investigate the potential transmission of Ebola virus in Dallas, a lot of questions still remain. Should he have been more aware of the potential dangers of Ebola and the potential for spreading the disease to others? CLEVELAND - It is shocking that just three percent of rapists in America ever serve time. CBS News reported five years ago that investigators often ignore DNA evidence collected from victims in what is known as a "rape kit." Thousands of these rape kits have gathered dust for years. Stories such as ours persuaded some police departments to begin testing them. Charles Steele raped at least four Cleveland women in the mid-´90s. One was at a gas station when he walked up. "And I looked up, next thing I know I have a gun pointing at me," one survivor said. But her case and all

A federal appeals court Thursday gave Texas permission to fully enforce a sweeping abortion law signed by Republican Gov. Rick Perry last year that would effectively close all but seven abortion facilities in America´s second-most populous state. Two years ago, Texas had more than 40 abortion facilities. Many clinics have already closed under a part of the law requiring doctors who perform abortions to obtain hospital admitting privileges, and now more than a dozen remaining clinics are set to shutter as well. The decision by a panel of the 5th U.S. Circuit Court in New Orleans wipes out what was a fleeting

HONG KONG -- The crowds of pro-democracy protesters on the streets of Hong Kong dwindled sharply Friday after the territory´s leader agreed to meet with their leaders over their demands for electoral reforms. An afternoon thunderstorm - and sheer exhaustion after the weeklong protests - also appeared to keep people off the streets. Protesters and police scuffled briefly Friday morning as officers forced demonstrators back to clear a path for an ambulance leaving the sprawling government compound, the focal point of the protests. The complex remained closed because mostly student protesters had blocked entrances, keeping civil servants from getting inside. In other

A deadly virus appears in Africa, and makes the jump from animals to humans. Decades later the virus causes an epidemic across the continent: Preying on poor sanitary conditions and public-health practices, it kills thousands and threatens millions. A worldwide pandemic seems imminent. Sound familiar? Don’t be fooled. This description applies more to the history of HIV/AIDS than it does to the Ebola epidemic now raging in West Africa. Yes, one case of Ebola has made it here. But in countries with a good health-care infrastructure, Ebola will be much easier to contain. It’s highly unlikely to cause a worldwide pandemic or even a

In mid-August, a man who had recently traveled to Liberia showed up at an emergency room in Birmingham, Ala., with a fever. Doctors quarantined the patient, fearing that he might have contracted Ebola, a deadly virus that has spread swiftly through West Africa in recent months. Attending physicians at the University of Alabama-Birmingham hospital suited up, donning face masks, gloves, goggles, and full-body gowns. Meanwhile, the feverish patient was whisked away to an isolation room separate from the rest of the hospital. Doctors eventually diagnosed the man with malaria. But the way the case was treated is similar—if not identical—to how hospitals would

The Obama administration’s new drive to battle the ideology of ISIS using social media is falling short of expectations and its potential because the White House was late to the game, disregarded the work of the previous administration and hasn’t properly funded the effort, some experts and government officials say. A major part of the new anti-ISIS tactics, run by the State Department’s Center for Strategic Counterterrorism Communications, is an English-language social media campaign called “Think Again, Turn Away,” which features rapid responses to pro-ISIS rhetoric and sarcastically toned YouTube videos intended to mock ISIS’ fundamentalist intentions. President Barack Obama has taken a lot of flack since his Sunday night “60 Minutes” interview, in which he blamed the intelligence community for his failure to tackle the threat posed by the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria. The Obama administration found itself scrambling on Tuesday to defend President Barack Obama for his lackluster 42% attendance record on daily intelligence briefings, a finding from a new report issued by the non-partisan Government Accountability Institute (GAI). When asked about the GAI revelation on Fox News, State Department spokeswoman Jen Psaki appeared flustered and unprepared. "Well, I have no validation of those statistics," said Psaki. "There are a range of ways that you can get your intelligence briefings on the road, in the White House, and I know that he receives those whenever he can."

President Obama this week committed professional suicide. Let me explain. There is a theory in politics that once a leader has fired 50 or more people from his or her administration, he or she is finished. The reason being that by creating so many enemies ‘outside the tent’, the tent itself becomes too deluged with poisonous bile to avoid sinking into a quagmire of back-stabbing ignominy. Obama went a lot further than firing 50 people. He managed to single-handedly alienate 200,000 employees in the American intelligence agencies by going on 60 Minutes and ruthlessly chucking them all under a bus

HOUSTON, Texas -- Former House Majority Leader Tom DeLay was found not guilty today by the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals. This is the highest appellate court in Texas for criminal cases and thus brings DeLay’s political persecution to an end. The court upheld the ruling last year from the Texas 3rd Court of Appeals. That decision tossed out the convictions on money laundering and conspiracy charges. At that time Justice Melissa Goodwin wrote “The fundamental problem with the state´s case was its failure to prove proceeds of criminal activity,” according to a September 19th report on Breitbart News.
