USA Today reporter calls border
crisis Obama’s ‘Katrina moment’

Washington Times, by Jessica Chasmar

MSNBC panelists on Monday seemed puzzled by the president’s refusal to visit the U.S.-Mexico border while he fundraises in Texas, with USA Today reporter Susan Page calling the decision Mr. Obama´s “Katrina moment.” Appearing on “The Daily Rundown,” Carolyn Ryan of The New York Times argued that the crisis on the border, in which thousands of immigrants are crossing illegally in record numbers, goes to question the president’s competence. “You can see that 30-second TV ad,” host Chuck Todd added, The Washington Free Beacon reported. “You start with the health care rollout. You go to the VA.

Comments:
Call it, or any of the countless (and still growing) 0bama scandals by "name," and it won´t matter. Washington is filled with the roadkill of those thrown under his bus, not to really protect him, but keep it moving toward Perdition, in spite of the "bumps" along the way.

Obama is not persecuting Americans. He´s just conducting research.

He wants to know what vile acts lo-fo´s will endure if he keeps providing their handouts.

I have thought for a while, am I the only one outraged by what is happening on the boarder and this article makes it clear that Obama has created a "disaster to far" and his base is crumbling.

George Bush was there to help soon after Katrina and it wasn´t his fault the idiot chocolate mayor and governor refused it. This is NOT a Katrina moment. This is totally planned and has been for some time. Remember when Preezy Smidgen visited the president or whatever you call the leader of Mexico a few months ago? Guess they had to get their ducks in order. Obama lies.

Cairo - Egyptian authorities have ordered the arrest of nine men who appeared in a video purporting to show the country´s first gay marriage, accusing them of inciting debauchery and undermining public morals. Gay marriage is not legal in Egypt, a conservative Muslim society where the footage, which went viral on social media sites last month, has caused a stir online. Though homosexuality is not specifically outlawed in Egypt, discrimination is rife. Arrests of gay men occasionally make headlines and the accused are typically charged with debauchery, immorality or blasphemy, drawing criticism from rights groups.

The 31-year-old plug of a man is the local leader of the Mara Salvatrucha, a gang formed by Central American immigrants in California and now designated by the U.S. as a transnational criminal organization. President Obama will give a speech next week outlining his strategy for taking on the threat posed by ISIS, ABC News has learned. The president will use the speech to outline the nature of the threat -- serious, but not an imminent threat to the homeland -- and the strategy for confronting it. It is not expected that he will make any major new announcements such as a decision on Syria air strikes, but he will describe the efforts he is already taking, including air strikes in Iraq and building an international coalition. In other words, the president wants to leave no doubt he does in fact have a strategy for taking on ISIS despite his words two
