An unidentified man was killed Thursday night in San Antonio while waiting to board an Amtrak train to Houston. He was allegedly beaten to death by a large man who witnesses observed stating, “I just like killing someone.” The victim was a white male in his mid-fifties who weighed about 150 pounds, according to an Amtrack employee who spoke with Breitbart Texas on condition of anonymity. The alleged assailant was described as a black male weighing approximately 350 pounds. The conductor of the eastbound train told the source he witnessed the victim sitting on a bench by himself waiting to

Note that the hate crime victim was rendered defenseless by law; "no guns allowed" on Amtrak, unless properly stowed away in checked luggage.

The assailant said almost the same thing as ISIL did in their interview. Same mentality at work in both cases. There is a culture of violence out there. This type of behavior has been encouraged in the name of tolerance and diversity instead of discouraged.

Unfortunate for the victim who just happened to be at the wrong place at the wrong time.

Since our government feels free to ignore laws it doesn´t like, it´s time for all of us to ignore laws banning concealed carry.

Better to be judged by 12 than carried by 6.

So sad for the victim and his family. I pray for them to find some peace in justice.

Security got there within a few minutes. Too late. Everyone knows the saying: "when seconds count, the police (or security) are only minutes away". Even if someone had a tazer the man might have been saved. Shame on Amtrak for making passengers helpless.

I didn´t read anything about someone coming to the aid of the man killed. This is a perfect example of why the Second Ammendment is important. If the victim, or someone watching, was armed, perhaps an innocent. life could have been saved

“According to Breitbart Texas´ original source, Amtrak security arrived at the scene within a minute or two, but it was too late. “
This is why I drive my truck and will no longer fly, go by train or bus. They have ruled out my ability to defend myself (and others) but are not capable to defend me and mine (or others).
My personal opinion is that when one party refuses to allow you to self defense they are totally responsible to you and yours for the outcome of and attack. The problem is when the government is the party that refuses to allow you to self defense you are not allowed to sue. That is not the case for corporations and other businesses.

William Murphy set out Sunday night to pick up a few groceries at the New Orleans Food Co-op in the St. Roch neighborhood. The roughly three-block walk is one the 54-year-old home renovator said he´s made countless times since moving to the neighborhood in 2006. But what should have been a routine errand quickly turned into a harrowing encounter with a group of teenagers who left him bloody and battered. He remembers only flashes, he said, including the teens taking his laptop from his backpack but never attempting -- despite ample opportunity -- to take the $90 he had

Mayor Bill de Blasio and other officials denouncing “poor door” entrances for subsidized tenants in luxury buildings actually voted in favor of a measure that made such separation possible, a Post review found. When the lengthy text of a zoning resolution was amended by the City Council in July 2009, then-Councilman de Blasio — who arrived late to the meeting — was among the majority who voted “Aye.” One provision said developers of market-rate condos could include affordable units on site, instead of off site, while allowing for the separation of a number of services that included the entrances.
