Appeals Court says to give

Arizona Daily Star (Tucson AZ), by Howard Fischer

PHOENIX — Calling the state policy motivated by animosity, the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals this morning ordered that "dreamers´´ be allowed to get Arizona driver´s licenses, at least for the time being. In a unanimous decision, the court rejected arguments by Gov. Jan Brewer that she was entitled to issue an executive order two years ago denying licenses to those in the federal government´s Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program. The court ordered U.S. District Court Judge David Campbell, who had initially denied an injunction on behalf of the dreamers, to direct the state Department of Transportation to

Interestingly, the United States Supreme Court is the only federal court the Constitution requires us to have. COngress could just defund all other federal courts prospectively, which would leave existing lifetime appointed lefty judges well compensated for doing nothing, but they wouldn´t have any more cool stories to tell their worshipful minions at lefty cocktail parties.

The congress has the authority to disband the lower courts and terminate the appointments of the judges. We would not have to pay them.

Congress also has the legal right - nay, DUTY - to specify what the courts have jurisdiction over and not.

I seem to recall that the 9th Circuit is generally referred to as the "9th Circus", inasmuch the rulings oozing out of that snakepit of psychopathology are overturned more often than any other. Or am I confusing them with similar louts on the 8th?
Which leads a person to wonder why such ingrained incompetence - or worse - can´t be dealt with by FIRING the bums! And I would look approvingly upon a proposal for public floggings, stocks and pillories and the like.

Notice that the court indicated that in their opinion Congress has given Obama broad discretion to decide what illegal aliens can work in the USA. That´s the issue that most illegal aliens care about, and the vast majority would happily remain citizens of their home countries if they could just work in the USA. Look for Obama to now expand his issuance of work permits to the illegal alien parents of the "Dreamers" who either brought the "Dreamers" into the USA unlawfully, or had them smuggled into this country in the first place, and just maybe to every illegal alien now working in the USA. The discretion that Congress gave to the President to hand out work permits was intended to be used only in certain individual hardship cases and not en-mass to the entire illegal alien population group, or any huge portion of that population group. Essentially what Obama is doing is disparaging, ignoring, and undermining the immigration laws by going around the Congress and creating his own amnesty for partisan political purposes. The term "Dreamers" was invented by the liberal Democrats and has no historical basis in the immigration laws.

Now that Dreaming Invaders can have driving licenses, who is going to pay for their insurance? In Texas , very few illegals have insurance or licenses but they cause most of the wrecks. You can get a license by being read the test in your native language. By the way I have been hit by a uninsured, unlicensed illegal Mexican.

How many would actually want a license ? That means they would be required to buy insurance.

President Barack Obama on Saturday said the widespread mistrust of law enforcement that was exposed by the fatal police shooting of an unarmed black man in Ferguson, Missouri, is corroding America, not just its black communities, and that the wariness flows from significant racial disparities in the administration of justice. Speaking at the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation´s annual awards dinner, Obama said these suspicions only harm communities that need law enforcement the most. "It makes folks who are victimized by crime and need strong policing reluctant to go to the police because they may not trust them," he said. "And

Political pollsters have a tough job. They have to create formulas to determine if the person they are interviewing is likely to vote, and it is within this calculation that their reputations are made. Typically, those who are likely to vote in an off-year election are pretty set. They are the people who always vote in elections — with some motivated by specific issues. In a wave election, the number of those motivated by specific issues escalates, changing the electoral landscape as the candidates who are beneficiaries of this increased participation sweep to victory.
