Sarah Palin Is Seriously
Considering Joining The View

Sarah Palin’s reality show Amazing America just got picked up for a second season by the Sportsman Channel and to mark the occasion, the former Republican governor and vice presidential candidate spoke to The Hollywood Reporter about the show’s first season and her future ambitions, including a possible spot on ABC’s The View. With Barbara Walters’ semi-retirement underway and the pending departures of Sherri Shepherd and Jenny McCarthy, The View is actively looking for new co-hosts. And as Palin revealed in Monday’s interview, she’s actively interested. All reporter Marisa Guthrie had to do was ask Palin if she was generally

Comments:
Do you really think those leftists at ABC would hire Palin? If they in fact did, it would sure shake things up.

If true, she will be living up to the criticism that she is egocentric and in love with her own image. To trivialize her conservative credentials by lowering herself to that level is a bad,...no, a stupid, move.

And I know Palin isn´t stupid. So what is her motivation? Maybe it´s an honorable one: Getting the conservative viewpoint out their in lo-fo-land and showing that her worldview can stand up to the shrill criticism of liberal women.

I prefer to think it´s the latter scenario.

This is where I felt Palin would go. The View or the Today Show. I think it works out for both sides if it happens. Palin brings in a whole new audience and she gets exposure. Palin is never going to run for national office. She´s more of a Rush Limbaugh type now. A political celebrity with conservative views.

Sarah Palin is the poster child for flexibility. She has a journalism degree. She has commercially fished with her husband, been a politician, a political commentator, and an entertainer. She also hunts.

Her husband Todd, is an oil worker, a fisherman, and a camera man and sound man.

The Los Angeles Times is reporting that President Obama may postpone his sweeping executive actions on immigration until after the midterm elections. Why? Because Democrats are begging him to: The two-step plan would bow to the concerns of Democratic lawmakers running in Republican-leaning states who have expressed opposition to Obama’s plans to act unilaterally on the hot-button issue. Some Democratic senators have said he should wait for Congress to pass legislation. Wait. Why would they want to do that? Aren’t the policies Obama is proposing on immigration wildly popular? Sometimes voter-fraud deniers are forced to discuss the truth of voter fraud. This happened today at the Washington Post (“Fairfax officials say some people may have crossed Va.-Md. line to vote twice in 2012“). While the Post deserves credit from emerging from its cocoon of voter-fraud denial, it deserves scorn for bungling the emergence. Reporter Susan Svrluga notes that “tens of thousands of voters” were registered to cast ballots in both Virginia and Maryland. That’s true, and it is a big problem nationwide. Hundreds of thousands of people are registered to vote in multiple states, and many of them have voted. It

The latest Gallup poll on President Obama job performance is out. At the top line, things could be worse for the president and his party. 44 percent approve of his performance, while 53 percent disapprove. That’s considerably worse than in the run-up to the 2010 election, and certainly cause for concern among Democrats. But Dems won’t be surprised by this split which, as I said, could be worse. The intensity numbers, however, are terrible for Obama and the Dems. 39 percent of Americans (essentially 2 in 5) say they strongly disapprove of the president’s performance.
