Searching for Hillary Clinton’s big idea
Politico, by David Nather

Original Article

Posted By:Drive, 7/7/2014 8:41:42 AM

Here’s one thing you won’t find in Hillary Clinton’s book: a clear reason to run for president again. The “Hard Choices” book tour has had all the trappings of a warm-up for 2016, and even though Clinton insists she hasn’t decided yet, she keeps dropping hints that she has ideas for the future of the country. “You’ve got to ask people who want to run for anything, but particularly president, what’s your vision? What is your vision for our country, and do you think you can lead us there?” Clinton said at a CNN “town hall” forum.

“You’ve got to ask people who want to run for anything, but particularly president, what’s your vision?"

Where did that come from... the High Schooler´s Handbook of Student Government? Is she talking to herself about herself? Does she imagine that as a profound rallying cry that will sweep the nation?

Sorry, Hillary, we already did Hope ´n Change, and "We are the ones we´ve been waiting for." Barry pretty much destroyed nonsensical gibberish as political platform. You´ll have to try something else.

This constant analysis of all things Hillary is tiring this reader. I feel she has been around since Hector was a pup, with the pup more interesting to look at.
As for her clear plan for the future? More money, more power, which comes back to more money.

Searching for Sir Edmund´s big idea? Please, stop the madness! America simply can´t take anymore of these leftist clown suits!

Think about it! In the last twenty-two years, our nation´s "voters" have "elected," as POTUS and Commander-In-Chief of our vast global military forces: (1) A certified draft dodging pervert from a trailer park deep in the Ozark Woods and (2) An undocumented Communist/Sunni Muslim rabble-rouser from the mean teeming streets of Jakarta, Indonesia. Taking it still a step further, and "electing" a hard-charging, hardcore, lamp throwing feminazi who hangs out in Fort Marcy Park in 2016, would simply be the fatal "coup d´ etat," finally ending our great Judeo-Christian experiment forever. End of story.

Islamic militants seize Benghazi
as U.S. evacuates Libya
Washington Times, by Reda Fhelboom and Angela Waters    Original Article

TRIPOLI, Libya — Fighting in Libya escalated Thursday as Islamic militias claimed to control the country’s second-largest city, Benghazi, while foreigners and U.N. workers continued their exodus in what increasingly is looking like a full-blown civil war. The Islamic hard-liners’ announcement in Benghazi marked a defeat for the forces of renegade Gen. Khalifa Hifter, who for months has pursued a self-declared campaign to stamp out armed militant groups. Once firmly in control of the eastern port city, Gen. Hifter’s troops now appear to hold only the airport on Benghazi’s outskirts.

Suicide Bomber From U.S.

WASHINGTON — When Moner Mohammad Abusalha drove a truck packed with explosives into a restaurant in northern Syria in May, American authorities conceded that they knew little about how a young man who grew up a basketball-obsessed teenager in a Florida gated community had become a suicide bomber. And they have never publicly acknowledged the startling discovery they made weeks into their investigation: that after receiving training by an extremist group in Syria, Mr. Abusalha had returned to the United States for several months before leaving the country for the last time. Mr. Abusalha, 22, chose to carry out his attack in

Iraq´s Christians are begging the world for help. Is anybody listening? Since capturing the country´s second largest city of Mosul in early June, the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) has ordered Christians to convert to Islam, pay jizya taxes levied on non-Muslims, or die. The extremist Sunni group is also persecuting and murdering Turkmen and Shabaks, both Muslim religious minorities. Human rights lawyer Nina Shea described the horror in Mosul to me: "(ISIS) took the Christians´ houses, took the cars they were driving to leave. They took all their money. Dems fear a debacle on turnout
The Hill, by Alexandra Jaffe    Original Article

Record-low primary election turnout is threatening to magnify Democratic midterm worries. Both parties have made their “get out the vote” programs a top priority for November, investing millions in building bigger ground operations earlier than ever before. The challenge is most dire for Democrats, who are defending a fragile six-seat Senate majority that relies on a handful of races in hostile, GOP-leaning territory — and trying to pick up House seats in a difficult year, politically. Their push this week to raise the alarm — and campaign cash — over the GOP lawsuit against President Obama and to stoke fears of impeachment

Vulnerables balk at Obama action

Democratic senators facing tough reelections want to put the brakes on President Obama’s plan to reform the nation’s immigration enforcement system through executive action. Two of the Senate’s most vulnerable incumbents, Sens. Mark Pryor (D-Ark.) and Kay Hagan (D-N.C.), say Obama should not act unilaterally to reduce deportations, arguing it’s Congress’s job to change the law. While the Democratic-led Senate has passed a bipartisan bill, the Republican-controlled House will not. That poses a dilemma for Obama. Slowing or halting deportations of otherwise law-abiding residents who came to the country illegally could produce a backlash in red states where Obama has low approval

The Obama administration is concealing key details about its response to the surge of unaccompanied children illegally crossing the southern border, including where the unaccompanied minors are being sheltered and the circumstances under which some are set free inside the U.S. Lawmakers on Capitol Hill say the lack of information has handicapped their push to pass legislation to gain a handle on the surge — a debate taking place this week in both chambers. Last week, BuzzFeed fired Viral Politics editor Benny Johnson for lifting phrases and sentences from other sources, chiefly Wikipedia—a phenomenon some attributed to Johnson’s lack of training and the Internet’s lack of rules. But at least one well-trained journalist at the rule-bound New York Times couldn’t resist copying from the online encyclopedia, either. Last night, Mediabistro’s Richard Morgan highlighted several similarities in wording and structure between a July 24 article by veteran Times reporter Carol Vogel and Wikipedia’s entry for Piero di Cosimo, the Italian Renaissance painter. “Vogel’s lede is far too close to Wikipedia for unattributed comfort,” Morgan writes. At least 13 Palestinians are reported to have been killed in the overnight attacks, including six victims in one house in the Bureji refugee camp,

That was the most astonishing moment of today’s galling Obama press conference. President Obama had earlier lectured journalists how to do their jobs, ripped Republicans for doing their jobs, and chided everyone within earshot for not wishing him a happy birthday yet. After that descent into pre-teen self-absorption, the president was asked about whether CIA chief John Brennan had lied to Congress under oath when he said that the agency had never spied on senators and staff who were investigating the CIA’s enhanced interrogations of a very few al Qaeda terrorists. Obama glided past the actual question, other than voicing

Even the American left is finally realizing that this is the strangest administration in living memory. Obama simply has no real precedents, which is why he seems so utterly foreign. American presidents tend to be pragmatists, but Obama is locked into a simpleminded ideology of Good vs. Evil. Obama is Good, and anybody who disagrees with him is Evil. Much of this oddity stems from the president’s personality, which many people have described as a mix of major narcissism, borderline personality disorder, and oppositional defiant disorder. Personality disordered people can be very functional in their jobs.

He asked guest Kate Obenshain why the Republicans continue to remain in the muck with the left and try to “destroy one another” instead of getting things done. O’Reilly asked, “Shouldn’t they rise above it?” Obenshain argued that it’s Democrats doing all the nasty politicking and name-calling, as well as the ginning up of impeachment. O’Reilly, however, noted some conservatives are bringing it up and said there’s “plenty of hate on both sides.” Obenshain objected, “No,
