Gene Simmons Defends 1 Percent:
It´s ´Chaos Without Us´

Breitbart California, by Christian Toto

Original Article

Posted By:Attercliffe, 7/6/2014 10:32:11 PM

The defunct Occupy Wall Street´s legacy, in part, was bringing the term "one percent" into the lexicon. The term targeted the rich, who apparently weren´t paying their fair share to society. Gene Simmons begs to differ. In fact, the Kiss mainstay and proud one percenter says the country would be in shambles without that unfairly maligned group. [Snip] What’s it like being part of the 1 percent? “It’s fantastic!” he replied. “The 1 percent pays 80 percent of all taxes. Fifty percent of the population of the U.S. pays no taxes. The 1 percent provides all the jobs for everybody else.

Comments:
Unfortunately, chaos is what They are after.

Thanks Gene.

Brief, and right straight to the point.

Personally, I have a job because my boss is wealthy, hard working and willing to run a business.

How difficult is that to understand?

Thanks to public schools for many, it´s impossible to understand.

I never understood why someone with the common sense and work ethic of Chaim Witz would ever support obama, but he does. Maybe it´s just a showbiz thing.

And, similarly to #1, I (and thousands of others) have a job because the company for which I work belongs to a multi-billion dollar holding company, the boss of which is probably among the 1% of the 1%.

Foreign Minister Avigdor Liberman on Thursday denied earlier reports that Israel and Hamas had reached an agreement on a cease-fire that would put an end to the fighting as of Friday morning. Liberman´s denial came minutes after Reuters quoted an Israeli official as saying that Israeli senior representatives at talks in Cairo had accepted an Egyptian proposal for a comprehensive Gaza cease-fire starting on Friday, but Israel´s leaders still had to approve the deal. The official, who earlier said that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu´s decision-making security cabinet had agreed to the truce, later told Reuters the forum had not yet

Microsoft set to axe 18,000 jobs

Microsoft is to cut up to 18,000 jobs marking the deepest cuts in the technology firm´s 39-year history. The bulk of the cuts, around 12,500, will be in its phone unit Nokia, which Microsoft bought in April, the firm said. Microsoft pledged to cut $600m (£350.8m) per year in costs within 18 months of closing the acquisition. The cuts are much more severe than the 6,000 initially expected. Chief executive officer Satya Nadella, who took the helm in February, wants the firm to shift its focus away from software to online services, apps and devices.

Rumors swirl of undocumented

COLUMBIA--Rumors of undocumented immigrants secretly being transported to South Carolina have triggered a series of protests that will take place this weekend statewide. Federal and state officials say there is no indication that undocumented immigrants are being flown or transported by bus to the Palmetto State, in the wake of the immigration crisis on the nation´s southern border. But one of the protests being assembled in Greenville for Saturday will take place at the location where it is believed undocumented men are being dropped off, said William Gheen, president of Americans for Legal Immigration PAC, a national organization based in North Carolina.

If you had to pick one colour to symbolise war, what would you choose? Blood red, to reflect the human cost of conflict? Or perhaps khaki, as a nod to military dress? Visitors to the Imperial War Museum in London, which reopens on Saturday following a £40 million transformation including a suite of permanent new galleries devoted to the First World War, would be forgiven for concluding that the most appropriate hue for combat is actually grey – since this is the colour that greets people like a thundercloud when they arrive in the vast central atrium after passing through the

A humanitarian ceasefire aimed at temporarily halting hostilities in Gaza came into effect on Tuesday hours after Israel said it had intercepted an attempt by 13 militants to infiltrate through a tunnel leading from the coastal territory. Both Israel and Hamas, the Islamist group in charge of Gaza, said they would observe the five-hour pause, which was requested by the UN and took effect at 10am local time (7am GMT), as the search for a formula leading to a long-term truce continued. There was little let up in the fighting even before the temporary ceasefire took hold, with Israel saying it had

Wind turbine fires ´ten times more

Wind turbines may catch on fire ten times more often than is publicly reported, putting nearby properties at risk and casting doubt on their green credentials, researchers have warned. [Snip] An average of 11.7 such fires are reported globally each year, by media, campaign groups and other publicly-available sources, but this is likely to represent just the “tip of the iceberg”. There could in fact be 117 turbine fires each year, it argues, based on analysis showing just 10pc of all wind farm accidents are typically reported. Fires tend to be “catastrophic”, leading to turbines worth more than £2 million

In his ongoing effort to combat climate change through executive authority, President Obama announced Wednesday a series of investments to support communities across the country as they prepare for the worst effects yet to come. The millions provided will give communities and states the funds to shore up their vulnerabilities, as well as “create jobs, provide certainty to states and communities, support American businesses, and grow our economy,” a statement from the White House said. The president has made it a second-term priority to tackle climate change, as Republicans routinely deny that the Earth’s temperature is warming and dramatically altering weather patterns.
