A border patrol agent was diagnosed with scabies after processing undocumented immigrants in Otay Mesa, California, the agent´s union representative said. Ronald Zermeno, health and safety director for the National Border Control Council union, said the agent told him that he observed several people with open sores while screening them in preparation to be released to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement. Scabies is caused by a mite that burrows into skin and lays eggs, causing an intense itching and rash, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Scabies:

Scabies is a condition of very itchy skin caused by tiny mites that burrow into your skin. The itching is caused by an allergic reaction to the mites.

Scabies spreads very easily from person to person. It can affect people of all ages and from all incomes, social levels, and living situations.

With treatment, the scabies mites die and the itching goes away over a period of days to weeks. Without treatment, the mites continue to reproduce under the skin, causing more sores and itching.

Maybe once the border patrol gets tired of Obama undermining the immigration laws they just might get a big case of the old blue flu. Then Obama could draft in La Raza to run the borderline, something they are already doing unofficially.

I´m still trying to figure out how the government can "capture" children, hold them in cages and transport them across state borders. Isn´t there a law against kidnapping, in this country? There use to be. Is the government above the law?

Last week an agent contracted TB. We are just starting.

Thrift store shopping is really trendy and last year our county had a scabies outbreak.
We have a lot of not just Mexicans but immigrants from all over the world.

They will be in schools, clothing stores and wherever they receive healthcare. Then those that have them and not know, will spread them farther.

Scabies, ringworm and lice are all pretty common in American schools. TB is less common but not unheard of. Of course immigrants legal and otherwise should be screened for disease, but those diseases and others are already present in our schools and other institutions.

WASHINGTON — President Obama is considering a delay of his most controversial proposals to revamp immigration laws through executive action until after the midterm elections in November, mindful of the electoral peril for Democratic Senate candidates, according to allies of the administration who have knowledge of White House deliberations. The president vowed in late June to act unilaterally, declaring a deep frustration with what he termed Republican obstruction in Congress. He pledged to act to reshape the immigration system soon after he received recommendations from senior advisers at the end of the summer. But now Mr. Obama and his aides appear to

MOSCOW — As Russian-backed rebels entrenched themselves in a newly captured, strategically located town in southeast Ukraine on Friday, President Vladimir V. Putin bluntly strengthened Moscow’s hard-line position that the government in Kiev must be compelled to negotiate regional autonomy. Abandoning his more frequent conciliatory stance, Mr. Putin issued a rare, open, congratulatory message to the insurgents. They had “achieved a major success in intercepting Kiev’s military operation,” he said on his website.Behind the message, and the wider military operation, analysts saw several Kremlin goals. It will take two decades to rebuild the thousands of houses destroyed during Israel’s assault on Gaza, according to a recent NGO report. At least 17,000 homes were obliterated or severely damaged during the conflict, with thousands more needing substantial repairs, according to an assessment by Shelter Cluster. More than 2,100 Palestinians, most of them civilians, were killed during the conflict. In addition 71 Israelis were killed – all but six of them soldiers. But the report on Gaza’s housing stock indicates inhabitants of the densely populated strip will face a severe infrastructural burden over the coming years.
