Homeland Security Secretary Jeh
Johnson dodges deportation question

Washington Examiner (DC), by Joseph Lawler

Department of Homeland Security secretary Jeh Johnson expressed optimism Sunday that the influx of illegal immigration from Central America could be slowed, but repeatedly dodged questions about how the Obama administration would resolve the status of the immigrants who have already arrived. "I believe we´re going to stem this tide," Johnson stated in an appearance on NBC´s "Meet the Press." "We´re doing a number of things to do that right now," he said, citing the reduced time to deportation for adults and families apprehended crossing the border illegally. Johnson also warned that "there are no free passes once you get

Another duplicitous, smarmy Obamcrat.
How do they keep all the lies straight?
In coordination with Cecilia Munoz - La Raza activist- Johnson is orchestrating this invasion of gang bangers, coyotes and a few disease ridden adorable children as cover.
This is not Congress fault.
The fault lies totally within the criminal, treasonous WH as Val Jarrett and Obama seek REVENGE - the only campaign promise they have kept.
Deport them all.
Cut off all funding to DHS - they have failed to protect Americans as they facilitate an illegal invasion of disease and criminality.

Ha! Never let it be said ol´ Jeh Jeh doesn´t have a sense of humor:

Johnson declined to say whether President Obama will visit the border areas in Texas when he visits the state in the upcoming week.
"The president can´t be every place he´d like to be or should be," Johnson said.

The President just dropped into TX for some fund-raisers, as I recall.

If you´re out at the beach this weekend - like most Americans hope they will be - it might be an idea to look up. About 5,000 feet up, actually. That´s about where Belgian photographer Antoine Rose will be making his works of art. The self-taught snapper initially started out taking pictures of kiteboarders as head photographer of the Kiteboarding World Cup, according to Fast Company. Then, while covering finals in Ipanema and Copacabana, Rose turned his lens from the water to the beach - and that´s where the magic happened. Islamist militiamen stormed the residential annex of America´s embassy in Tripoli on Sunday then took the time to give curious journalists in the Libyan capital a tour. The group has taken up residence in the annex just over a month after diplomats fled to Tunisia over fears of mounting violence in the North African nation in recent months. An Associated Press journalist walked through the U.S. Embassy compound Sunday after the Dawn of Libya, an umbrella group for Islamist militias, invited onlookers inside. Windows at the compound had been broken, but it appeared most of the equipment there remained untouched.

Two hundred years ago this month, 4,000 British soldiers lay siege to Washington, D.C., and set fire to the U.S. Capitol and the White House. It is, as far as we know, the best evidence the one time enemy´s forces were in our nation´s capital, said Allman. The

During the Great Depression, the Communist scribes at the Daily Worker were forever assuring the more skeptical among their colleagues that the heroic spark was near. Having read about a “small riot somewhere in rural Minnesota,” Whittaker Chambers recorded in Witness, Robert Minor started shouting about “the beginning of the American revolution.” If the paper wished to capitalize upon dissatisfaction and spin it into insurrection and change, Minor proposed, it would need the staff to keep an eye out for the tell-tale sign and, then, to “play it up big.” Over the past month, the events in Ferguson, Mo., have played

The National Institutes of Health (NIH) study is now in its fourth year, receiving an additional $670,567 for fiscal year 2014. The project seeks to determine why “nearly three-quarters of adult lesbians overweight or obese,” and why gay males are not. In just two years the project’s budget has nearly doubled, growing from $1.5 million to nearly $3 million today, despite fears that sequestration could jeopardize the project and other NIH funding. I guess he really was multitasking out on the golf course. The President’s team has been hard at work behind the scenes, coming up with a strategy … well, maybe we should say plan, to address the nation’s many challenges. Watching the events unfold in Ferguson, Missouri, I can’t help thinking about the Holocaust and post-war Germany. As the daughter of a Holocaust survivor, I’ve spent years watching Germany wrestle with its dark past. It’s just one of many places that have made efforts to understand and compensate for a difficult history: For nearly three decades, countries as varied as South Africa, Rwanda, and the nations of Latin America and post-Communist Eastern Europe have been engaged in this process, often called “transitional justice.” That’s a broad term for the ways in which societies deal with the legacies of past injustice.

It will take two decades to rebuild the thousands of houses destroyed during Israel’s assault on Gaza, according to a recent NGO report. At least 17,000 homes were obliterated or severely damaged during the conflict, with thousands more needing substantial repairs, according to an assessment by Shelter Cluster. More than 2,100 Palestinians, most of them civilians, were killed during the conflict. In addition 71 Israelis were killed – all but six of them soldiers. But the report on Gaza’s housing stock indicates inhabitants of the densely populated strip will face a severe infrastructural burden over the coming years.

Short of world war, it’s rare that a chief executive goes through a foreign policy month like President Obama’s August. Islamic State militants beheaded an American journalist in Syria and spread their reach across the Middle East. War raged between Israel and Hamas in Gaza. In Afghanistan, U.S. plans for an orderly exit at the end of the year teetered on the brink of disaster. Russia all but invaded Ukraine and dared Obama to stop it. Libya descended
