The Ally America Needs
Politico, by Dennis Blair

Original Article

Japan’s historic move to reinterpret the country’s postwar “peace constitution” this week and adopt a more active role in Asia-Pacific security comes none too soon for the United States. Right now, more than ever, Washington needs robust allies. In East Asia, the broader Middle East, the Sahel and Eastern Europe, extremists, sub-national groups and even hostile countries seek to take over territory and change borders and governments through coercion, intimidation and terrorism. Although these events might seem disparate and limited in scope, their number and frequency amount to a global challenge to the international order the United States has led since World

The only ally America needs is a hardcore conservative leader. How many Americans now see Putin as a better leader than Obama.Obama and his ilk are real fools for thinking that being nice to our enemies will make them like us back.Just the opposite has happened, they think we´re weak as hell now.

FTA "Right now, more than ever, Washington needs robust allies." Now why is that? Not one mention of obama´s feckless, weak or leading from behind foreign policy. But then again if the author had Politico wouldn´t have run the story. The msm is in on the cabal trying to destroy the country.

The country is being destroyed from within. What America needs right now are Americans who aren´t afraid to say they are Patriots. Americans who will say it like it is and stop the voter fraud, the unnecessary over-reaching, over-bearing, out of control regulation, the continued looting of the nation to overwhelm the system any way possible, the relentless hog-tying of hardworking, over-taxed Americans and the common core indoctrination of the next generation. Americans who will stop the bleeding of America. After that we´ll be back in the saddle to help our allies.

All of that´s being said, Japan has been a good ally to us in the Mideast wars. They´ve done a lot of support functions freeing up our military to kill people and break things.

The ally America needs is God. That is getting back to basics. In God we trust. No? Then the country is going down - and fast. ´´If we ever forget that we are One Nation Under God, then we will be a nation gone under.´´ Ronald Reagan stated that so well in a few words.

That same gentleman said, ´´We Americans are blessed in so many ways. We’re a nation under God, a living and loving God. But Thomas Jefferson warned us, ‘I tremble for my country when I reflect that God is just.’ We cannot expect Him to protect us in crisis if we turn away from Him in our everyday living. But you know, He told us what to do in II Chronicles. Let us reach out to Him. He said, ‘If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from Heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land’.´´

God isn´t fooled by people who gather to sing ´´God, bless America´´ at a time of crisis when they have been denying Him all along. Americans should know that the only meaningful alliance is with omnipotent God.

Notice that the Japanese Government simply "reinterpreted" the constitution (rather than amending it) to mean what the government wants the constitution to mean.

Just like we´ve been doing it here in the U.S. over the last few decades, reinterpreting the U.S. constitution to discover rights we did´t know were in the constitution. That´s how we found out that abortion is a constitutional right. And the current constitution-reinterpretation craze is all these judges all over the country, under the grip of a group-think mentality, finding that homosexuals have a constitutional right to "marry"!

It´s a wonderful thing to be able to "reinterpret" the constitution to mean whatever you want it to mean. It´s much easier than engaging in the uncertain, arduous task of doing it the right way, which is to amend the constitution. s/o

Congressional Democrats have talked about the impeachment of President Obama 20 times more than Republicans have on the House and Senate floors. Since the start of the 113th Congress last year, Democrats have used the word “impeach” or “impeachment” regarding Obama 86 times, according to a review of the Congressional Record by The Hill. Utterances on the floor from Republicans about impeaching Obama, in contrast, have been relatively rare. Only three Republicans in this Congress have raised the subject on the House floor, and the words have been used a total of four times by GOP members. Most of the talk has

Scott DesJarlais slept with his former patients, encouraged one to have an abortion, and twice urged his ex-wife to have an abortion. But oddly enough, when it came time for the Tennessee representative to run for reelection, the "pro-life" movement that had the most reason to despise him has instead given him close to a free pass. The vast network of influential anti-abortion-rights groups, many of which are rarely shy about making their voices heard, have been remarkably absent from DesJarlais´s primary, a review of the 4th District contest shows. In some cases, the groups haven´t provided even so much as

MURFREESBORO – The pizzas arrived at state Rep. Joe Carr’s campaign headquarters as hoped Wednesday night. Eight boxes of Little Caesars stacked neatly on a table. Sustenance for the dozen or so volunteers as they made one final pitch to the voters. “Our volunteers are hungry for victory on Election Day,” the campaign had written in a fundraising appeal last week, “and they’re working so hard we want to feed them with a slice or two of pizza to help keep them energized and thank them for their help.” Carr’s bid for the Senate has been an uphill battle from the start.

In yet another uninspiring performance by our unengaged and unengaging president, this time a press conference at the end of a three-day U.S.-Africa Leaders Summit in Washington, D.C., Barack Obama discussed, among other things, the ceasefire between Israel and Hamas which, according to The One, “we” have achieved. It’s not entirely clear just how “we,” meaning the president, his feckless Secretary of State John Kerry, and his utterly incompetent foreign policy team (but at least they’re loyal — the most important characteristic for employees of any petty dictator), helped achieve anything other than the emboldening of Hamas, which led to the

In the lead-up to the 2012 midterm elections, all the talk was about the GOP taking control of the Senate. Then, as often happens with the Grand Old Party, they figured out a way to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. Todd Akin happened. Then Richard Mourdock did. One-two punch. Flat on the mat 8, 9, 10. Done. Mr. Akin kicked things off in August by saying two words that have never been uttered side by side in the history of the English language: “legitimate rape.” No need to explain, Todd. Whether the current cease-fire holds or collapses, the facts are thus far incontrovertible: Hamas has lost a war it started, and Israel has won a war it didn’t want. Obi-Wan Kenobi may have told Darth Vader, “If you strike me down, I shall become more powerful than you can possibly imagine,” but this is not “Star Wars.” This is the real world, circa 2014 — and in the real world, winners win when they win and losers lose when they lose. One-third of respondents don’t even care who is in charge – they don’t believe it matters. Neither party “is trusted much to manage the federal government,” the AP write up reads. President Obama gave a press conference this evening. He started a little over an hour late without explanation. Reporters stuck to asking questions that they evidently knew Obama would be comfortable answering. None of them asked him about any of his administration scandals. ABC’s Jon Karl, usually a tough questioner of Obama and his spokesmen, asked a rambling question that played right into the Democrats’ “economic patriotism” canard. Despite the fact that the president showed a passionless, bloodless, disinterested face to the world, he still managed to do some damage. Chris Jansing of CNN asked Obama if the sanctions against Russia are working.

Milton Wolf, 43, a Leawood radiologist making his first run for public office, failed to pull the upset in the race against Roberts, 78, whose political dates to the late 1960s, when he was a congressional aide. Former president Jimmy Carter called on the West to recognize the U.S.-designated terrorist group Hamas as a legitimate "political actor" that represents the bulk of the Palestinian population. Carter made the comments in an article he co-wrote with former Irish president Mary Robinson in a new issue of Foreign Policy magazine. It was published as a cease-fire took hold Tuesday after four weeks of fighting between Israel and Hamas, which governs Gaza. In a sharply worded rebuke to Israel, Carter and Robinson said, "There is no humane or legal justification for the way the Israeli Defense Forces are conducting this war."
