Unleashed Upon America:
Obama Unchained!

American Thinker, by Lloyd Marcus

Original Article

Posted By:geo11, 7/6/2014 4:04:46 AM

My fellow Americans, we are all bit players in the making of a metaphoric slasher movie: Obama Unchained, starring Barack Hussein Obama. Here is a summary of the movie. It is a heartwarming tale about how the mainstream media and Democratic Party suckered America into electing their extreme far-left dream president – a Trojan Horse in the form of a black man.

Comments:
Unfortunately for America, this movie is still playing and we can´t walk out.

Like everything else that Obama has unleashed on America that we are helpless to stop, we are stuck in this theater for two more years of destruction while he continues his reign of error and anger.

We have no weapons. Our Congress will not act on our behalf. Democrats and Republicans alike are, or will be, casualties of his war against America. He has taken Rev. Wright´s "Christian" training to heart and is damning America every morning when he wakes up.

Painfully, we have no Ronald Reagan, no real leader, to lead us off this smoldering battle field where the carcasses of free speech, free association, free market, and the Constitution lay writhing in their death throes.

We are Obama´s victims. The only thing missing are the bloody bandages, but those will come soon enough. Then comes the coffin into which Obama and Michelle and their cadre of good soldiers will toss the remains of Lady Liberty.

I mourn for America and pray for her every day. Only Divine intervention can save us at this point. Unless Democrats wake up to this human wrecking ball´s true intentions, we are all finished and the blame will lay squarely at the feet of Congressional Democrats.

America has no stomach for another bloody Civil War. We can only secede. And I hope that such an option, given that we have no others, will be taken seriously for once.

#1 - Lech Walesa agrees with you that "the world has no moral leadership". There is no way out of all this chaos without Divine Intervention. The Pope could simply do the Consecration as requested, but, instead, he tells us that we should not work on Sundays - a sermon I heard in 1950.

No moral leadership............

And let us not forget that Communist/Socialist/Progressive "girl genius", the most dangerous woman in the White House who isn´t afraid to admit it, Valjar said:
“After we win this election, it’s our turn. It´s Payback time. Everyone not with us is against us and they better be ready because we don’t forget. The ones who helped us will be rewarded, the ones who opposed us will get what they deserve. There is going to be hell to pay.”

Looks like they´re making good on at least one promise...

It´s looking pretty grim. Yet, this country when it´s back has been pushed against the wall has always managed to rally itself to do the right thing. That is the single ray of hope I have. Americans have had in their hearts a love of God and country that has been exceptional. However, my fear is that the left has so brainwashed the entitlement masses that they can´t see the path of destruction that Obama has put us on. Then there are the crony capitalists who believe money is their ticket to influence. Our politicians are lazy, greedy and seek personal power more than to serve the citizens. All that is left is we the people. Just as the colonists defied the king, we must stand united against those who would destroy this country, all of them.

Unfortunately, it has come to this. We have little to no representation from our elected officials. They are weak and distracted by their desire to maintain the status quo and that is just not going to cut it. We need warriors committed to this fight and I truly believe if we are to be successful, it will be because the average citizen determined in their heart that this will not happen on their watch. It will be people like us who make the difference. Do what you can. Use any means available. Many people are not plugged in politically. Show them the way. There is power in numbers and better than that, there is strength and confidence in knowing there is a better way. Take your family and friends to see D´Souza´s "America". It is an eye opener and great conversation starter. Truth is a powerful force.

#1 Thank you for a great reply/comment. I, too, "mourn for America and pray for her every day"; and I, like you, believe that "Divine intervention" is needed to save us.

What is just as troubling is that good men and women are among us who can, if elected to leadership, turn things around. However they are either ignored or ridiculed into irrelevancy by the media. After a while, I think they just give up. Look at Sarah Palin as a case in point. I would bet that Sarah hasn´t given up on fighting for her American values, but at some point she has to wonder if she has enough soldiers to help her fight back. She is only one person and she needs an army.

We just can´t let our would be leaders like Ted Cruz or Sarah Palin and other conservatives be figuratively killed off by the Obama palace guards aka the media.

I can´t be optimistic because since the 60´s when the far left took over our schools we have had more than two generations of know-nothings coming out of them. The parents and grandparents of most of the kids in school now are products of that period and the schools are progressively getting more and more leftwing into the lunacy category.

The media savaged Ronald Reagan, but it was nothing like what they did to Bush and the conservative candidates since then and Ted Cruz will be no exception. There are probably already many scenarios without a shred of truth ready to role as soon as he announces his candidacy. Likewise for anyone else who comes forward.

The world is for a very long period of hell before someone with courage and strength rediscovers our founding documents and starts the long road back.

There is are reasons that the conservatives have such a hard time finding capable men and women to lead them.

Ted Cruz was mentioned above and I believe him to have great promise. However, others, who have had great promoise have been so unfairly maligned by the media and on such a regular basis that they become depicted as: a right wing"goofy" Teapartier, sex maniac, a extremely rich person out of touch with the people, a war monger.etc They do it so effectively that even the conservatives can be drawn into their deceit. The msm remains so powerful; TV, Paper News, Holloywood. They may not directly choose our leaders but they come close. For example. If they wanted John Boehner removed from the Speaker of the House, it would be done. The Tea Party candidate would have, more than likely, would have won in Ms.recently.

The msm has been so successful, sometimes, we don´t even relize it is happening. For us to win another President´s election, when you throw in fraud and the msm...the conservatives have a hard road.

We have almost reached a captive state of affairs. Signs were present early on ("Defining Deviance Down"). Comes Obama, the perfect mouthpiece for a setup that had been maturing over many years.

But he is not the primary culprit. That title belongs to the MSM: It has abandoned its major responsibility to inform us...it has made us "nonjudgmental" to the point of turning our attention elsewhere...it has enabled a "progressive" public mindset.

I´ll never forgive the Democrat Party for not reigning him in and also for their supporting and excusing his every unlawful and anti-America move. Thought perhaps there were some good people in that party, but where are they?

Regretfully, Lloyd is a lone voice in the wilderness. He is but one of maybe 100 black voices of reason out there on the national stage today. Much like Star Parker, I wager that few in the black community will hear him.

Unfortunately, most black politicians in Washington are borderline Communists and someone keeps electing them. That´s the sad fact.

I see no hope by mere human means. But we have hope.
14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
2 Chronicles 7:14

Unless and until that is the case, all our shouting and fist-shaking will accomplish little. Obama is not the problem, he´s merely an indication of the problem. I assure you that there are those, more than you might think, who would cheerfully vote Obama in for a third term. Or a Shriallary or a Fauxcahontas. THAT is the problem.. The moral rot in the nation. And only the Lord can fix that.

FTA, "...what strong, courageous conservative will emerge to lead the charge?"

I believe there are several strong conservatives who could lead our nation out of this decline, but I´m not sure there is anyone capable of uniting we conservatives. The amazing job Scott Walker has done in WI, vastly improving their economy and fighting off the Left, makes him extremely qualified to lead this nation back to greatness. There are others; Ted Cruz, Rick Perry, Marco Rubio, many more. We will have to unite behind whoever emerges as the nominee to stop this national disaster. It will not be easy, however, to find a candidate that will please everyone, and I fear that will end our 2016 hopes.

Told ya so! I’m one of millions of Americans who had BHO pegged from the day he first entered our national consciousness. Concealing his background – beginning with his birth certificate - was his Job #1. Sitting in that church week after week but not hearing a word that preacher said was his Job #2. Need I rehash the long list of his other examples of fundamental mendaciousness? I need not. We all know them because we’ve all experienced them every day for at least six tumultuous years. ‘Keep your friends dumb, but your enemies dumber.’ Aided and abetted by his slavishly corrupt media, has that been his strategy? Yes, at least one of them.

Obama can be stopped. But there needs to be a show of will to remove him. Someone needs to lead an impeachment rally in D.C. When TPTB realize how much support exists for removing Obama, we´ll start moving in that direction.

#7, the difference now, as opposed to those times when Americans were pushed to the wall and pushed back, is demographics. We have been overrun for decades by third world uneducated masses who have refused to assimilate and have sucked us dry. Since the only skin they have in the game is freebies, they will support any atrocity the terrorists in the WH and congress wish to inflict on us as long as the checks keep coming.

Perhaps the first step is a tax revolution. If only we could convince all of those who provide the funding to simply quit paying, we could force change. Beyond that, I don´t think this can be fixed peacefully.

I have little hope for the future and am glad that I´m old, but weep for my daughter and any future family she may one day have.

When Americans start seeing progressives for what they really are, SOCIALIST/COMMUNIST, they will begin to understand the problem more fully.

Additionally, if a so called ´American´ president can do what Obama is doing to this country can you imagine the havoc a naturalized president could do, given the right Congress.

Every democrat that refuses to stand up for this country, instead of their party, should be castigated.

Excellent essay, as always, from Lloyd Marcus.

Here we have yet another first term senator, an extreme leftist from the bluest of states with zero executive experience, being seriously considered as a presidential candidate. In today´s low information America novelty trumps experience and competence.

Same as Obama´s, Warren´s history is fabricated. False claims of being of American Indian heritage led to her job at (terminally) politically correct Harvard, upon which her career after law school is solely based. In recent years it seems that an honorable, honest résumée won´t get an ambitious political figure as far as one that´s a carefully devised fiction. Crime does pay. And as long as it does, this Nation is in a peck of trouble.

Obama is just keeping his election promise to transform America. That will take some time and in order to get that job done the progressives have to stay in power. By using mass uncontrolled illegal immigration to create a new underclass minority group of eventually legalized aliens, 85% of who are sure to become socialist oriented Democrat voters is one of the ways that Obama is transforming America. Once legalized the current illegal alien population group, which may amount to 20 million mostly poor and uneducated third world people would, under the terms of any liberal Democrat designed amnesty, gain the right to bring all their close foreign relatives into the USA in unlimited numbers. Under the liberal Democrat plan, all would be put on a special path to citizenship run by the very liberal ethnic and immigrant rights groups with the objective of registering the vast majority as Democrat voters in the years ahead. If that plan succeeds, the Democrats would pick up tens of millions of foreign born voters. That number of new voters would sufficiently change the voter demographics in the country to the favor of the liberal Democrats in a manner to where the Republicans would always remain a distinct minority political party in the country unable to obtain enough votes to win future presidential elections. The liberal Democrats would never enforce the immigration laws thus ensuring great progressive diverse demographic change continues throughout the country. Since there would always be a liberal Democrat president, the liberal Democrats would eventually appoint all nine justices to the US Supreme Court and in a few years America would be an entirely different country. That´s just one way that Obama intends to transform America.

Mr. Marcus gives us our answer at the end of the article. Push back, push back, push back.

Each of us can do this in small and large ways according to our circumstances. Are you planning on building a shed or a new garage? Does your county require you to pull a building permit? Don’t do it. Build your project with a like-minded contractor for cash. Any time a government agency requires you to self-identify to comply with their regulations, don’t do it. Once you pull a permit, or register for a government program, you are inviting them onto your property and into your life. If you don’t tell them what you’re doing, they won’t know.

If you get a violation notification, throw it in the trash. If you get phone calls, you’re too busy to talk. If they show up on your property, demand a warrant. Its time to revive that old Lefty saying from the 60’s to rebuke every government entity, “Sounds like a personal problem.”

Let us take inspiration from our Dear Leader and his illegal invader friends. They don’t have to follow the law, why should we? If uneducated third-worlders can figure out how to “live in the shadows”, so can we.

Who is John Galt? I am John Galt and TEA is my favorite beverage.

He has said so many wrong statements I can´t begin to count them.
I don´t have his pleasant voice, but if I could say anything I wanted and he was restricted to true statments I could destroy him in a debate.

Leftism is an arrogant, coercive cult that is being shoved down our throats. Hellbent obama is impervious to criticism and plummeting popularity, albeit very touchy about it all. It´s beginning to dawn on even some of the LoFo´s that we´re all in for a Hell of a ride before he´s done, gelded, resigned or run out of town.

America is suddenly angry at the laxity, incompetence, and polarizing politics of the Obama administration, the bad optics of the president putting about in his bright golf clothes while the world burns. Certainly, no recent president has failed on so many fronts — honesty, transparency, truthfulness, the economy, foreign policy, the duties of the commander-in-chief, executive responsibilities, and spiritual leadership. For those who are “shocked” at the present meltdown, of a magnitude not seen since the annus horribilis of 1979, in their defense: Obama certainly did not campaign on a new health-care plan that would force Americans to give up the

For the left, American power must never be exercised except in the direst of situations, and even then, it must not be a unilateral exercise of power. This is the logic underlying the White House response to ISIS, or the Islamic State, as it calls itself. At this time, the U.S. military has the capacity to obliterate this gang of thugs with a relatively modest projection of force. If the administration continues to drag its feet, it will be much harder. Yet Obama continues to drag his feet, because he believes that America “leads from behind.”

Challenging times call for extraordinary courage. But at the risk of sounding indelicate, the only cojones associated with President Obama are the ones lined up on the putting green, where his frequent appearances have given rise to a new meaning of the term “stay the course.” You’d think the so-called leader of the free world would at least sound courageous. But at recent press conferences, Mr. President has sauntered in, often late, leaned nonchalantly on the podium, and delivered a lackluster “lecture” in a tone of voice more peremptory than somber. While American and world media, along with the President and Attorney General of the United States, obsess over the death of Michael Brown at the hands of the Ferguson, Missouri police, few people outside of Utah have heard of the remarkably parallel and contemporaneous death of Dillon Taylor, an unarmed young man (and father-to-be) from a gun shot by a Salt Lake City policeman,

Spreading from front page to two-thirds of an inside page, the New York Times, in its Aug. 18 edition, goes all out to document the miseries of life in Gaza. Jerusalem bureau chief Jodi Rudoren, reporting from Gaza City, informs readers that “telltale signs of the displaced are everywhere in Gaza”. (“In Torn Gaza, If Roof Stands, It’s Now Home”) And, very diligently, she doesn’t miss any of these signs. In her piece, a lawyer’s office becomes a makeshift home for kids. An Internet café is pre-empted by more than a dozen Gazans who “have set up house in two high-ceiling rooms

I´m amazed at how openly racist black Liberals have become, and how few non-blacks are willing to call them out on it. I was waiting to be interviewed on CNN the other night, and I was listening in advance of my appearance to an interview of a Missouri legislator said to Don Lemmon, [pp] "The way for Ferguson Missouri to improve public relations is to have more black cops." Can you imagine the reaction if a city asked for more white cops? This call for "blackness" as an answer to what´s plaguing the black community is happening a lot, and quite frankly is

Officials with the Obama administration held nothing back when speaking about the current halt on the shipment of missiles to Israel. The Wall Street Journal reports that in the war between Israel and Hamas, US officials stated that “Mr. Netanyahu and his national security team are both reckless and untrustworthy’.” What an absolutely perfect description of Obama. I’m going to add it to the growing list of adjectives reserved just for him.

I guess it´s easy to be moral when morality is defined as whatever you need at that moment. Still, it’s annoying to listen to people with such a weird, unearned sense of their own moral superiority. In truth, they are utterly morally illiterate. These are folks who draw parallels between Hamas and Israel when the only parallel between the Israelis and the jihadist degenerates is that they share the habit of breathing oxygen. You’d be better off discussing ethics with your terrier. At least your dog isn’t going to come up with excuses for Ted Kennedy. They´re delusional in that they really

He’s baaaaack, like a bad penny. Yes, Barry Soetoro, also known as Barack Obama, has returned yet again to the state he calls “Massa-tu-setts,” in the bosom of the Beautiful People, Martha’s Vineyard. The Vineyard is the dream destination of every carbon footprint-obsessed Democrat billionaire with his own private jet — an island, four miles out into the ocean, far, far removed from the foul breath of the plebeians. Martha’s Vineyard — the ultimate gated community. Every imaginable amenity is at Obama’s beck and call, except one. There are no “DREAMERS” on Martha’s Vineyard. Oh sure, a handful of illegals may be lurking about

One reason predictions of a Mitt Romney victory in 2012 were inaccurate, say analysts, is that the turnout among certain Democrat constituencies — in particular blacks and Hispanics -- was greater than expected. And what a significant factor this is! Whether we call it getting out the vote, having a great “ground game” or just turnout, it can make or break an election. But while the phrase “getting out the vote” is well understood, there is a lesser known election strategy: getting in the vote. What’s the difference? While the former involves getting as many as possible of the set number

It’s not true, as his critics like to say, that the president who went to Cairo to tell the world his election heralded great new things for the Middle East now has nothing to show for it. When the history books are written, they will credit Barack Obama for making Richard Nixon look like Moses. Forty years ago this evening, in a televised address to the nation, Nixon told the American people that, effective noon the next day, “I shall resign the presidency.” Since then the man’s failings have been exhaustively chronicled, and on this sorry anniversary they’ve once again been dragged out

Employers won’t hire her. She’s been berated with epithets like “dirty Jew.” Federal agents have guarded her house because of death threats. And she’s spent hundreds of thousands of dollars defending herself against accusations she orchestrated a coverup in a scandal that has come to represent everything Americans hate about the IRS. Lois Lerner is toxic — and she knows it. But she refuses to recede into anonymity or beg for forgiveness for her role in the IRS tea party-targeting scandal. “I didn’t do anything wrong,” Lerner said in her first press interview since the scandal broke 16 months ago. “I’m

Sarah Palin has come out in defense of her daughter Bristol who allegedly punched a man in the face during a family brawl. The former Vice President candidate hailed her child as a ´straight shooter´ in a Facebook which appears to be her first veiled reference to the fight two weekends ago. The 23-year-old is said to have repeatedly hit the owner of a home in Anchorage, Alaska, during an outburst in which her brother Track broke four ribs and her father Todd was left with a bloody nose. The United Nations Climate Summit will begin in New York this Tuesday, but environmental activists didn’t wait. All day Sunday, they filled the streets of Manhattan for a march that featured Al Gore, New York City mayor Bill de Blasio, and various Hollywood actors. But they certainly didn’t act like a movement that was winning. There was a tone of fatalism in the comments of many with whom I spoke; they despair that the kind of radical change they advocate probably won’t result from the normal democratic process. It’s no surprise then that the rhetoric of climate-change activists has become increasingly

He was a leading figure in one of the biggest climate change marches to date. But it seems Robert F Kennedy Jr was not so forthcoming when it came to questions about his own carbon footprint. Confronted by a reporter asking if he would give up his phone and car, the environmental lawyer became visibly irate before grabbing the microphone and accusing her of ´destroying democracy´ as a member of the press. The interview in New York yesterday afternoon started with a conversation about the number of flyers produced for the event, which Kennedy Jr claimed was necessary to garner ´people power´.

Note: Read the Hillary Clinton-Saul Alinsky Letters here. Previously unpublished correspondence between Hillary Clinton and the late left-wing organizer Saul Alinsky reveal new details about her relationship with the controversial Chicago activist and shed light on her early ideological development. Clinton met with Alinsky several times in 1968 while writing a Wellesley college thesis about his theory of community organizing. Clinton’s relationship with Alinsky, and her support for his philosophy, continued for several years after she entered Yale law school in 1969, two letters obtained by the Washington Free Beacon show. WASHINGTON — WHEN Willie Nelson invites you to get high with him on his bus, you go. The man is the patron saint of pot, after all, and I’m the poster girl for bad pot trips. It seemed like a match made in hash heaven. When Nelson sang at the 9:30 club in D.C. one recent night, I ventured onto the Honeysuckle Rose, as his tour bus and home-away-from-home is called. I was feeling pretty shy about meeting him. The 81-year-old Redheaded Stranger is an icon, one of America’s top songwriters and, as Rolling Stone said, “a hippie’s hippie and

I know a lot of people are giddy at the prospect of Republicans taking the Senate this November, but that’s becoming less and less likely. It’s not because Democrats are rallying around a particular mission or set of candidates; it’s because Republicans and conservatives aren’t. It seems like I’m always writing on issues no one wants to hear are mistakes, such as messaging or social issues. But I don’t care. These things have to be said. If these columns are received like a gaseous cousin on a long car trip through the desert, so be it. Crack a window… If things continue on their current course, the GOP will not retake the Senate.

It was once said, “religion is designed to comfort the afflicted and to afflict the comfortable.” Jesus’ parables – short stories with moral lessons – were likewise designed to afflict, to draw us in but leave us uncomfortable. These teachings can be read as being about divine love and salvation, sure. But, their first listeners – first century Jews in Galilee and Judea – heard much more challenging messages. Only when we hear the parables as Jesus’ own audience did can we fully experience their power and find ourselves surprised and challenged today. Here are four examples of Jesus’ teachings that everybody gets wrong: 1.

The man who jumped the White House railing Sept. 19 deserves the right to live in President Barack Obama’s home, just as the president is allowing hundreds of thousands of border-jumping Central Americans to live in Americans’ homeland, says a new tongue-in-cheek petition posted at the White House website. “We urge President Obama to immediately and publicly recognize that Mr. Omar J. Gonzalez, an oppressed migrant, was merely looking for a better life when he entered the White House after going over the classist, divisive and needless fence,” says the petition, which was authored by D.A. When Anthony Weiner’s mayoral campaign imploded last year amid new sexting revelations, the fallout buffeted his wife, longtime Hillary Clinton aide Huma Abedin. Clinton’s inner circle was furious with Weiner, and Abedin’s role with Hillary was said to be in doubt. “Huma has a choice to make,” New York magazine quoted a “close associate” of Abedin’s as saying. “Does she go with Anthony, or does she go with Hillary?” The magazine described Abedin as “traumatized” by the prospect of leaving the inner sanctum. One year later, Abedin’s marriage to Weiner appears intact, and her role in Hillary’s camp is secure. As Clinton’s personal chief

Fraternities at Wesleyan University in Middletown, Connecticut, must start accepting women and all residential fraternities must become fully co-educational over the next three years, the school’s Board of Trustees has ruled. The decision was made “with equality and inclusion in mind,” school President Michael Roth and Trustee Chairman Joshua Boger wrote in an email to students on Monday, Business Insider reported. “Our residential Greek organizations inspire loyalty, community and independence. That’s why all our students should be eligible to join them.” The school has focused on issues with Greek life ever since a woman filed a lawsuit against Wesleyan two years ago
