Relatives accuse Israeli forces
of attacking, detaining U.S. teen

CNN, by Samira Said & Kareem Khadder

Original Article

A Florida resident and cousin of a Palestinian teenager killed in Jerusalem this week is the young man seen in separate videos being held down and pummeled by men in the uniform of Israeli security forces, relatives said. Tariq Khdeir, 15, a high school sophomore in Tampa, was visiting his Palestinian relatives in Jerusalem for the first time in over a decade when he was attacked and detained, family members told CNN. (Snip) The Israeli Defense Forces issued a statement Saturday seeking to distance themselves from the beating. "It seems that the Israel Police Forces were involved in the incident, and not the IDF Forces," the statement said.

Comments:
How do you tell 0bama to go pound sand because he´s not truthful in drawing lines in them? He wants answers here, but not for an illegally detained military person in Mexico. Guess he doesn´t want the borders "shut" just yet. What Israel is saying is the IDF is no more the other group than the American Red Cross is the same as the Crescent Red cross.

I don´t remember Obi-1-kanobi being this indignant when the 3 Israeli youths were kidnapped and murdered.

One of the 3 was an American.

If it did happen then the Israeli security forces were wrong and they will be punished. That´s Israel. They correct mistakes. His cousin that was murdered appears to have been the victim of an honor killing. He was gay. It looks like he was murdered by his family. So the great outrage needs to be tempered by the reality of what a poor young man who happens to be gay faces at the hands of his own family.

Looks like CNN has completely taken down the story, but I read it there earlier.

Here´s the thing, if you´re an American kid of Palestinian parents, there is frankly very little reason for you to go back and visit. There was a mob throwing rocks as is traditional, and it looks like this kid was mixing in at least, and had his head covered, and was slow to run. Doesn´t mean he did anything, though we don´t really know, but it was no place for him to be, either. It is life and death over there.

I´ve mixed in on the edges of some police actions during protests here in the US, much more peaceful, and escaped injury only by pure dumb luck. Not a place for a kid.

This ´´American,´´ is the Rachel Corrie of this year.
His cousin was more than likely killed by natural means then his body burned and ´´found.´´
No DNA test can be done in less than 24 hours, yet the Palestinians claimed they knew from DNA the same day he was kidnapped matched that of his parents.
BS.
I wish the Israelis would debunk this false story sooner rather than later.
Mohammad Dura took over a year to debunk.
People die in the meantime.

NAACP: Detroit water

The NAACP Legal Defense Fund has filed a class action lawsuit against the city of Detroit for water shutoffs that members claim are racially motivated. The Detroit Water and Sewerage Department stopped service to about 7,200 buildings with overdue bills in June, compared to 1,570 in the same month last year. The issue gained national attention last month after activists appealed to the United Nations for help. The shutoffs are “being done in a discriminatory fashion,” the NAACP’s Veronica Joice told a local CBS affiliate. “They should at least take a look at whether there’s a better way to do this that

Washington - A powerful federal appeals court dealt a major blow to ObamaCare on Tuesday, ruling against the legality of some subsidies issued to people through the Affordable Care Act exchanges. A three-judge panel ruled 2-1 on Tuesday that the IRS went too far in reinterpreting the language in ObamaCare to extend subsidies to those who buy insurance through the federally run exchanges, known as HealthCare.gov. The case, Halbig v Sebelius, is one of the first major legal challenges that cuts to the heart of the Affordable Care Act by going after the legality of massive federal subsidies and those who benefit from them.

Ron Prosor, Israeli ambassador to the United Nations, denied the report. "There´s no kidnapped Israeli soldier, and those rumors are untrue," he said. According to Abu Obeida, a spokesman for Hamas´ military wing, al-Qassam Brigades, the soldier was taken during an early morning operation. He provided the supposed soldier´s name and ID. "He is a prisoner, and if Zionists lie about the dead and wounded, then the fate of this soldier is their responsibility," the spokesman said.

The Lois G. Lerner emails released this month revealed a potentially huge loophole in federal open-records practices when an IRS tech staffer acknowledged that the agency doesn’t regularly store — and never checks — instant message chats as official government records. Analysts say there is no question that the Internal Revenue Service and all other federal agencies should be storing chats and even cellphone text messages that may constitute official government documents, but a check by The Washington Times suggests that hardly any agency is doing so. Of 17 agencies surveyed by The Times, just two said they had policies

House investigators suspect the Obama administration catered to trial lawyers in the run-up to a proposal that would allow generic drug makers at times to change their labels without FDA approval. Digging into the matter, skeptical Republicans asked the agency in writing last week how they settled on the plan, because the shift would expose the generic drug makers to lawsuits from which they currently are immune. “It seems to us that the proposed rule is not designed to address a health or safety related concern; instead, it is designed to placate special interest groups and increase lawsuits,” Rep. A pernicious, little-known Obama administration policy – one that that incentivizes adult illegal immigrants to use children as human shields to escape arrest and deportation at the border – largely has escaped the media’s notice. This same policy is driving the historic surge of children at the border, as everyone from coyotes to illegal immigrant adults already in America seeks to use children to guarantee their safe passage into the country, or to protect them from deportation if they are illegally living here. The flood of illegal immigrant children, piling up like human debris on the US border, won’t stop
