Radical Lefty Teacher Whines

Just in time for Independence Day, an old lefty teacher has trotted out a bunch of tired canards about the American Revolutionary War. Writing for a website called The Zinn Education Project, the teacher, Bill Bigelow, also manages to criticize American firework displays on the Fourth of July because “the United States is waging war with real fireworks around the world.” Bigelow claims that “U.S. drone attacks have killed at least 2,600 people in five countries, including as many as 247 children” since 2001. He also charges that the Iraq War began in 2003 with “shock and awe” – which

Real Americans, like J.R.R. Tolkien´s hobbits, love the rockets´ red glare, especially on Independence Day. And the less said about the less-than-ideal-American Howard Zinn--Matt Damon´s hero--the better.

Regarding #1´s comment, this is exactly the type of teacher the Left and the Communist teacher´s union want in the classroom teaching America´s children. This is one of the major ways America is being undermined and a couple of generations have been affected.

There´s nothing wrong with this guy that a good arse whipping wouldn´t solve. Liberals live in a protected environment, the womb of a security state that allows them to utter sedition and never fear repurcussions. In days past a person like this would be put in shackles in the town square to be mocked and ridiculed because of his anti-American ranting to children. Undermining the defense of the nation is treasonous behavior and he should be horse-whipped for it. Taking away individual liberties is another horse-whipping offense.

Matthew Colbert, a former campaign and Hill staffer, has launched a new app to help you put your money where your beliefs are. Before you buy a product, you can scan the bar code with the BuyPartisan app to “see the political donations of the CEO, Board of Directors and employees of the company you are buying from.” The app is free. The former Secretary of State and rumored presidential candidate attracted a large crowd to a book signing event Wednesday at Bunch of Grapes. It was rainy and grey outside, but the mood was bright inside the Bunch of Grapes Bookstore in Vineyard Haven Wednesday where Hillary Clinton fans were positively beaming. Ms. Clinton was in town to sign copies of her new book, “Hard Choices.” “We love you,” “Please run, we need you,” “I’m such a fan of yours,” and variations of the same were heard again and again from people who had waited in line, some for four hours,

A new report suggested that liberal billionaire Tom Steyer’s hedge fund profited from a $1 billion San Francisco light rail project pushed by House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif. Steyer was also a big supporter of Pelosi. Despite being quick to criticize conservative political donors, the morning and evening news shows on ABC, CBS and NBC have all ignored the allegation since the Washington Free Beacon broke the story Aug. 12. According to Washington Free Beacon, Pelosi “steered more than a billion dollars in federal financing” to a transportation project to provide light rail access to the Mission Bay neighborhood

To hear the White House tell it, not all “boots on the ground” are created equal. The White House on Wednesday acknowledged that ground troops could be used in a humanitarian mission in Iraq to help Yazidi refugees surrounded by militants. Considering that President Obama had repeatedly pledged to avoid an extended ground campaign in Iraq, some accused the president of flip-flopping on the issue. But Obama has made a critical distinction on ground troops, the White House said in defending the possible action Wednesday. “What he’s ruled out is reintroducing U.S. forces into combat on the ground in Iraq,”
