Hillary Clinton donates big speaking

All that “will she or wont she” clamor over whether Hillary Clinton will run for the White House in 2016. Damage-controlling the eye-rolls over her comment about the Clinton’s being “dead broke” when they left the White House in 2001, a comment she concedes was “inartful.” Criticism of her big fees for speaking at colleges and universities. On Friday, Mrs. Clinton told ABC News’ Ann Compton that all of the money she’s made from colleges since she left her post as secretary of state has been donated to a nonprofit foundation – hers. “All of the fees have been donated to the Clinton Foundation for it to continue its life-changing and

The money goes to the charitable trust because that´s how the pigs who write our laws protect their income from taxation. They "donate" minuscule fractions between themselves, thus qualifying as a charity; one of many "loopholes" they have no interest in changing.

“All of the fees have been donated to the Clinton Foundation for it to continue its life-changing and life-saving work,” Clinton said. “So it goes from a foundation at a university to another foundation.”

That does (suspiciously) sound like money laundering, doesn´t it?

Foundations are a great way to conserve wealth, while avoiding taxes on any income earned. At least 30% of any income earned by the foundation, goes to charity (see poster #2). Most importantly, there are no estate or inheritance taxes.

Kennedys, Fords, Rockefellers, Gates, etc, all have foundations. Up to 70% of foundation income is retained. Any expenses family members have, are paid by the foundation. Houses, cars, yachts, trips around the world, anything.

#7 is perfectly correct. This is why it infuriates me for these folks to present themselves as being such philanthropists, knowing most Americans don´t have working knowledge of how these tax shelters work. It´s a very sweet deal for the wealthy.

To add to #7 and expand what was implied in #2, suppose the Kennedy trust gives $5 million to the Rockefeller Trust, which donates a like amount to the Clinton trust, which then gives $5 million to the Kennedy trust. Stipulations satisfied, no actual "charity" given, tax-free status retained. It´s a magic money-making machine not available to the rest of us, as these trusts need to have a large capitalization (several million dollars).

I would also suggest that the audit NOT be performed by the IRS !!

Secretary of State John Kerry has made a significant mistake in how he’s pursuing a Gaza cease-fire — and it’s not surprising that he has upset both the Israelis and some moderate Palestinians. Kerry’s error has been to put so much emphasis on achieving a quick halt to the bloodshed that he has solidified the role of Hamas, the intractable, unpopular Islamist group that leads Gaza, along with the two hard-line Islamist nations that are its key supporters, Qatar and Turkey. In the process, he has undercut not simply the Israelis but also the Egyptians and the Fatah movement that runs the Palestinian Authority, all of which want to see an end to

Illegal immigrant demonstrators were protesting outside the White House on Monday – but don’t expect America’s immigration officers to intervene. An Immigration and Customs Enforcement official indicated that even if the protesters end up getting arrested by D.C. police, they’d have to be serious criminals for ICE to get involved. “Unless the individuals meet ICE’s enforcement priorities, it’s unlikely that the agency would get involved in the case,” the official told FoxNews.com. Under a policy that’s been in effect for several years, ICE focuses deportation mostly on serious criminals and – in some cases -- those caught in the
