The Movement to Give the

With the newest border crisis focusing on the influx of immigrants from Central America, many of them children, the political punching bag that is immigration reform is again leading the news. Democrats, incongruously, claim that the obvious ineffectiveness of our border is proof that we need to reform immigration laws to allow current foreigners who are here illegally to stay. How this stops the flow rather than increase it is not explained. Many Republicans have taken up the cause of amnesty by raising the curious proposition that many of those currently here illegally may eventually join the ranks of the

If memory serves, it was revealed in this very salon after the 2008 election, that upwards of 8,000, perhaps more, illegal aliens had voted just in Colorado. And that was considered to be a very low estimate.
It appears that the "reach across the aisle" types are giving us the North American Union, or perhaps even more, despite the expressed opposition of the mere citizens of this once-free nation. More work of the TWANLOC types.
Salve, sclave!

The motor voter law has already given anyone with a drivers license the ability to vote. Why else the continued pressure to allow illegals to get drivers licenses? Oh my we are a stupid people allowing anyone to vote in our elections. We are being voted out of our Constitution.

It began many years ago.
Heck, in my state, (thanks to the ´mexican mafia´ in our Legislature and the leftist gringo Legislators who support them) the DMV knowingly and intentionally gives illegal aliens drivers licenses and voter registration cards at the same time.

Regarding posts 2 and 3: An article posted on this forum earlier this week detailed that the DMV in Colorado is overwhelmed with applications for non-citizen drivers licenses, which the radical Colorado Legislature recently approved. That state is quickly transforming to solid blue. Reelection of dems hickenlooper and udall seals the deal. I am dubious that either one can be beaten.

If the liberal Democrats who are pushing these non-citizen voter proposals ever thought that there was even a small chance that more then a small minority of those prospective non-citizen voters would ever vote for Republicans, they would make it impossible for those non-citizens to ever vote in any US elections. You can bet your boots on that!

Illegals are and have been voting in Calif for years. You can register to vote the day of the election, cast a provisional vote and nobody will check afterwards. Any wonder the democrats own the state?

Our electoral process is broken and not likely to ever be corrected. Liberal judges are in place to make sure circumstances remain as is.

And as hard as it is to accept for pro-illegal immigration advocates, a chaotic, completely unregulated immigration system hurts illegal immigrants as well as American citizens. And there’s no doubt that the system is broken and chaotic. These stats make that very clear: According to the Department of Homeland Security’s last report on the number of illegal immigrants residing in the US, there are an estimated 11.5

FANCY FARM, Ky. — It was only 10 a.m. and already the mercury was nearing 90. All signs pointed to a typically hot and muggy midsummer’s day here in this western Kentucky town of 500 souls. Hot as it would get, though, not even Mother Nature could match the torrid trashtalk that would heat up the pavilion behind St. Jerome Catholic Church later in the day. This was the first Saturday in August, after all — a day when the town swells to between 20 and 40 times its usual size for Kentucky’s premier political event, the Fancy Farm Picnic.

That seems like an awfully strong word, but it is the term that distinguished law professor Glenn Reynolds, no hysteric, uses to describe the Obama administration’s oft-reported plan to issue executive amnesty to five or six million illegal immigrants in violation of federal law. Glenn’s characterization is a fair one. When a tyrant asserts the right to rule by decree in a state that has formerly been subject to the rule of law, he is commonly described as carrying out a coup d’etat. That is just what the Obama administration has done, and reportedly will continue to do. When Obama changed

The obsession by the Obama-Kerry administration with imposing a cease-fire on the warring parties in the Hamas-Israel war will go down in history as one of the most strategic mistakes in military history. Here is a fact the administration deliberately and maliciously ignored: In the history of modern warfare, no terrorist group has ever honored a cease-fire. Hamas has broken every cease-fire it ever said it would honor. Every single one. Even the Israel-Hamas 2012 cease fire, brokered by then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, was simply agreed to by Hamas to give it an opportunity to restock its military arsenal, pressure Israel

ATLANTA — In the early 2000s, a young researcher at the Centers for Disease Control named Greg Millett set out to solve an epidemiological mystery. Nobody could explain why black Americans, particularly black gay men, had such high rates of HIV infection compared to the rest of the population. How were they putting themselves in so much danger? What were they doing differently from everyone else? Millett began with a survey of the published research, but that only seemed to raise more questions. Study after study seemed to arrive at the same conclusion: Black gay men take fewer risks in the

Many of the eight million sign-ups in Obamacare exchanges nationwide already face more limited choices for physicians and hospitals than those in the private insurance market. But with low physician reimbursement rates, the problem could get even worse.
