U.S. Military Turns to
Hollywood to Outfit the
Soldier of the Future

Wall Street Journal, by Don Nissenbaum

San Fernando, Calif.—The Oscar-nominated designers at Legacy Effects have outfitted such memorable movie warriors as The Terminator, RoboCop, Captain America and Iron Man. The special-effects company is now at work on what seems a mission impossible: Building an Iron Man-style suit to protect and propel elite U.S. troops by encasing them in body armor equipped with an agile exoskeleton to enable troops to carry hundreds of pounds of gear. The 3-D printers that once churned out parts for actor Robert Downey Jr.´s red and gold movie armor are making pieces for a Pentagon prototype. Military officials recently examined three designs,

Sounds like the program went into the crapper along the way because of no funding, so zippy is pulling a form over substance PR campaign while giving tax dollars to his buddies in La-La Land.

Homeland Insecurity: President Obama has vowed to "hunt down (Islamic State) terrorists who threaten our country, wherever they are" in Iraq and Syria. News flash: They´re also in American mosques. Yet Obama is not going after terrorists in radical mosques. And he´s making it harder for local governments to stop the construction of recruiting and training centers for the enemy. In fact, as a grand jury investigates another Minneapolis mosque for radicalizing recruits for ISIL, the Justice Department is suing local officials for blocking a new extremist mosque in the area. Moses, famously, tried to get out of it. Vyshorod,Ukraine--It was supposed to become a Museum of Corruption, a triumphant trophy of Ukraine’s February revolution and a monument to its new leaders’ determination to uproot the lawlessness and avarice that blighted this country’s first two decades as an independent nation. More than six months after protesters drove President Viktor F. It also stands as a dark warning that Ukraine’s troubles reach far beyond the war zone in the east of the country. “This was

After carefully reviewing his many statements on the topic over the past months, we´ve managed to piece the president´s line of reasoning together into a more or less coherent statement. Voter turnout during last month´s primary races was a little too good in some counties, Arizona elections officials said Friday. Some precincts in northern Arizona tallied more ballots cast than there are registered voters, the Arizona Capitol Times reported. According to officials, errors made by poll workers and elections officials in Apache and Navajo counties led to the miscalculations. Initial reports from some precincts showed a turnout of anywhere from 200 to 400 percent. In Apache County, the Puerco West precinct reportedly had 100 votes cast, but only 23 voters are registered there. The voter turnout added up to 434
