Dangerous Times: Obama the Betrayer
American Thinker, by James Lewis

Original Article

Posted By:geo11, 7/5/2014 3:58:32 AM

“I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my Ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.” Which of those solemn promises has Barack H. Obama not betrayed? I can’t think of a single one. If Obama is different from other presidents, it’s not for the color of his skin, which is just a PR hustle to blackmail suckers into proving they aren’t racists. No: Obama will be historic for his fanatical leftism, which has no precedent in American history. The biggest headline

Comments:
We have a President that believes that the US and its Constitution is evil and has set out destroy both.

FTA:...Obama has shown utter contempt for the U.S. Constitution, for our military, and for the crucial duties of the Department of Justice, the Border Patrol, and the IRS. ..

And thanks to the media in his pocket, and low information obama phone citizens he is getting away with it.

Apt comment from American Thinker poster:

Sure, Obama is the figurehead for the American demise, but I´ll say it again: Atonement-infected, self-flagellating Whites and malcontented, insatiable Blacks voted for "change in America". Obama didn´t "fly solo" on this.

So what exactly is the purpose of the President ´s oath of office then? Isn´t it the equivalent of a signed contract whose specific terms are being agreed to by the oath? And if the oath taker doesn´t comply, why isn´t that in and of itself a cause for impeachment and removal from office?

Either enforce it or get rid of it as a meaningless anachronism.

Maybe because the oath was sworn on a bible, which, I suspect, he doesn´t believe in either, it, the oath, is meaningless to him as well.

Internal intimidation --- The Chicago Way aka The Soviet Way --- is key to obama´s success. With over two million federal employees in the various agencies, the threat of firing keeps everyone in line, not just his appointed leftist shock troop exec´s --- the Lois Lerners --- that have infested every agency of the Executive Branch. The underlings value their inflated wages, benefits and bonuses, so they, in fear, toe the line and implement the policies their bosses command with ever more fervor and ever more power. And there is time pressure... Elections are coming and there is so much to do and little time to get it done before the voters back them off, or throw them out. And so they are bizzy, bizzy, bizzy.

Read "The Jihad Candidate" by Rich Carroll, June, 2008. In a brief four page article, he clearly enumerates almost all of the reasons for not electing Obama. For most of us here, the article will merely reiterate what our own research uncovered; however, there are some surprises.

Obama must be stopped...by whatever means necessary.

This article is depressing and I wish I could disavow it but there is too much in it that is accurate. Even within Obama´s support for anti-american forces there is inconsistency, viz, "Obama has supported mass-killing regimes in the Middle East against more moderate, stabilizing rulers: Mubarak, Gaddafi (much better than today’s civil war in Libya), Maliki (ditto for Iraq), Karzai (ditto for Afghanistan). Instead, Obama consistently favors al-Qaeda-linked killer gangs in Syria and the biggest sponsor of terrorism, Iran." These two groups, al-Qaeda and Iran, are enemies and Obama tilts towards both. The only thing the two have in common is hatred for the United States, Israel, and Western Civilization. The notion that a President is that much an enemy is anathema to me. But, what other conclusion can I draw if he favors these two enemies who have only hatred for us in common?

There was ample evidence out there showing Obama was wrong for the job. In spite of that, over 100 million people voted for him twice. Nothing has changed much among the voting population so a hard core lefty can be elected again.

Not sure it can be fixed. Ask yourself why people voted for Obama. There are many reasons.

Speaking of the oath and it being made on the Bible brings up the question, "Why was a mistake made twice in the ´public´ oath that demanded a second and accurate oath be taken later in private with no witnesses?" On what document was that second oath taken and why so secretive? Who really is Chief Justice Roberts? Where is the uproar about all this?

Our country is beyond repair. Any attempt to fix US will be like an inch of bondo filling a bashed in fender when it should be replaced with OEM (Constitutional) parts.

If there was evidence in 2008 that 0bama was unfit for the job, in 2012 there was a beyond any doubt plain proof positive. Granted Romney was not perfect but politics is not about perfection but practical choices. What on earth prompted 52%, not less, Americans to commit this ritual suicide remains beyond rational understanding. These people still have the right to vote and will turn up in ´14 and ´16. That is the critical problem all thinking Americans should be pondering this Fourth.

Before we take on this madman who is indeed our enemy, we must throw off all of the beliefs we have in our government and our laws. Not too many people are prepared to do that but once the killing starts, once we see what we are really up against, it will become easy. We are still in a state of shock and disbelief at what the enemy has accomplished so far, but we will soon get over it.

A friendly U.S. military will be an asset, they hate obama and his hand-picked cronies in uniform. There are millions of vets out here who have served under honorable men, not the bootlickers of today and we know what it´s all about. Somebody in the government recently stated that vets can be dangerous subversives. We will eventually prove him right when we take back this country.

Intriguing. We all know what happened to Chris Stevens. Was the attack on the consulate in Benghazi a deliberate means of keeping him quiet? It wouldn´t surprise me.

Electing Obama in 2008 was shocking enough. Re-electing him in 2012 was a disaster. America is in real trouble, thanks to the 65.5 million voters who re-elected him.

The mixture of Communist agitators and Muslims is very dangerous. My hope is that Caliph Ibrahim will take Mecca and Medina before turning to US. It would be poetic justice for the Saudis and the Iranians.

America is suddenly angry at the laxity, incompetence, and polarizing politics of the Obama administration, the bad optics of the president putting about in his bright golf clothes while the world burns. Certainly, no recent president has failed on so many fronts — honesty, transparency, truthfulness, the economy, foreign policy, the duties of the commander-in-chief, executive responsibilities, and spiritual leadership. For those who are “shocked” at the present meltdown, of a magnitude not seen since the annus horribilis of 1979, in their defense: Obama certainly did not campaign on a new health-care plan that would force Americans to give up the

For the left, American power must never be exercised except in the direst of situations, and even then, it must not be a unilateral exercise of power. This is the logic underlying the White House response to ISIS, or the Islamic State, as it calls itself. At this time, the U.S. military has the capacity to obliterate this gang of thugs with a relatively modest projection of force. If the administration continues to drag its feet, it will be much harder. Yet Obama continues to drag his feet, because he believes that America “leads from behind.”

Challenging times call for extraordinary courage. But at the risk of sounding indelicate, the only cojones associated with President Obama are the ones lined up on the putting green, where his frequent appearances have given rise to a new meaning of the term “stay the course.” You’d think the so-called leader of the free world would at least sound courageous. But at recent press conferences, Mr. President has sauntered in, often late, leaned nonchalantly on the podium, and delivered a lackluster “lecture” in a tone of voice more peremptory than somber. His record for ambiguity and dullness reached a nadir of

A presidential defeat isn’t an easy thing to bounce back from. And Mitt Romney did it twice. So it was understandable that after he lost the presidential race in 2012, he was adamant about closing the door to the possibility of a third campaign. But recently, speculation is whirling that Romney may not be so adamant anymore. When asked if he was running in a New York Times interview published earlier this week, Romney said : “I have nothing to add to the story. We’ve got a lot of people looking at the race,” he said. “We’ll see what happens.” That response, which

Meghan McCain joined the dog pile on the Secret Service this week, saying she’s had “nothing but horrible experiences" with the agency and likening the agents to “glorified mall cops.” The 29-year-old author and television personality, who is also the daughter of former GOP presidential candidate Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.), opened up on Pivot’s “TakePart Live” about some of her interactions with the Secret Service. "I have nothing but horrible experiences with the Secret Service,” McCain said. “One of my friends called them glorified mall cops and I don´t think that´s terribly far off. I found them cliquey. I hated

WASHINGTON — Representative Elijah E. Cummings of Maryland was at the grocery store the other day when he ran into an elderly black woman who expressed growing concern about President Obama’s safety. Why, she asked, wasn’t he being better protected by his Secret Service agents? The furor that led to this week’s resignation of the director of the Secret Service resonated deeply among blacks, outraged that those supposed to be guarding the first black president were somehow falling down on the job — and suspicious even without evidence that it may be deliberate. “It is something that is widespread in

Go to a grocery store in California and buy all the milk, eggs and vegetables you want. But there’s one thing you won’t find at the checkout line, beginning July 1, 2015: Plastic bags to carry your stuff home. Gov. Jerry Brown (D) on Tuesday signed into law a ban on single-use plastic bags, making California the first state to prohibit stores from using the ubiquitous carry-alls. Shoppers will be charged 10 cents for every paper bag and heavy-duty plastic bag they use. “This bill is a step in the right direction,” Brown said in a press release announcing his approval. “It

The hawkish Republican Sen. Lindsey Graham of South Carolina says he is thinking about running for president in 2016. In an interview with Stephen Hayes of the Weekly Standard, the senator, running for re-election to the Senate this year, said: “If I get through my general election, if nobody steps up in the presidential mix, if nobody’s out there talking — me and McCain have been talking — I may just jump in to get to make these arguments,” Graham said. Graham, 59, also dismissed Florida Sen. Marco Rubio, 43, as a presidential candidate, saying he is too young. “He’s a good

Speaking at a Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors event last night, Hillary Clinton decided to talk about Alexis de Tocqueville. The problem? She got it wrong -- by about a hundred years. "There´s a wonderful phrase that was first used by Alexis de Tocqueville, who came to the United States in the very early 1930s and traveled around our country," said Hillary Clinton, a probable 2016 presidential candidate. "And he was so amazed at how Americans organized themselves -- you know, coming from aristocratic Europe, which was totally top-down and hierarchical -- he couldn´t believe how many of us were joiners.
