Vox: Pro-Life Movement Winning
Breitbart Big Journalism, by Dr. Susan Berry

Original Article

Posted By:mitzi, 7/4/2014 9:16:25 PM

The left-wing online publication Vox finds the U.S. Supreme Court’s decision in the Hobby Lobby case to be part of a “deeper trend” in a nation that has made an “unprecedented” turn to a pro-life stance. Writing at Vox, Sarah Kliff notes that, since 2010, “states have moved aggressively to restrict access to abortion and taken new steps to defund family planning programs. Advocates on both sides of the issue describe the wave of changes as unprecedented.” Also affirming the success of the pro-life movement is Elizabeth Nash of the pro-choice Guttmacher Institute. “Abortion access has changed dramatically,” said Nash,

How does not forcing employers to pay for birth control for religious reasons equate to "restricting access to abortion"? These people need a slap in the face, like Cher did in Moonstruck to Nicholas Cage..."Snap out Of It". And while you´re at it, Pay for your own birth Control!,

FTA: "Obamacare will still expand no-cost birth control to millions of women..." Kliff actually believes that birth control products have no associated costs. This is the liberal mindset - liberalism requires ignorance.

Kliff is ignoring the bigger picture, although to be fair, I have not read her article. These measures would not be possible if the moral and political sentiment had not shifted so dramatically against abortion over the past 10-15 years. Feminists are now urging people to avoid using even the term "pro-coice", knowing it has become firmly associated with abortiion.

Feminists have irretrieveably lost the debate and with it, their #1 reason for existence - abortion.

On another positive note, Happy Fourth, Ldotters!

Ms. Nash, where were you and your institute when Stanley Ann Dunn truly should have had an abortion?

Instead her lack of getting one, gave the whole country the abortion that resides at 1600 Penn.

In yet another harrowing chapter in the tragic plight of Iraq´s Kurdish Yazidi population, eyewitnesses have described how girls raped by Muslim fighters from the "Islamic State" (formerly ISIS) committed suicide en-masse after returning to their families, as evidence of systematic rape by Islamists against non-Muslims continue to surface. Among the tens of thousands of Yazidi refugees trapped in the Shingal mountains while fleeing IS´s deadly advance through Iraq, several survivors told Kurdish Rudaw TV how a group of three girls were returned after being abducted and raped - only to hurl themselves off a cliff after being

With the release of tape today by the Ferguson Police Department of a man who appears to be Michael Brown allegedly physically assaulting a much smaller clerk while stealing Swisher Sweet cigars, the media’s narrative has collapsed. The report from the police department states: Brown grabbed a box of Swisher Sweet cigars and handed them to Johnson. Judicial Watch has sued over missing IRS emails in the federal district court in D.C., pursuant to its FOIA request for such documents. The IRS was ordered to provide explanations as to missing emails, particularly Lois Lerner. The IRS provided explanations, but those were not good enough for the Judge, who launched his own inquiry into the matter, as Judicial Watch explained in a statement posted on its website: Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton made the following statement in response to today’s order from Judge Emmet G. Sullivan regarding the recently “lost” emails of Lois Lerner and other IRS officials,

A senior Israeli official confirmed to Israeli media that the US had suspended a shipment of Hellfire missiles to Israel amid worsening ties over fighting in Gaza. The decision to hold off on the transfer was most likely on grounds of increased diplomatic tension, the official said, corroborating a Wall Street Journal report earlier in the day that claimed the White House and State Department had been angered by a transfer of arms to Israel and had ordered greater oversight into future sales. The report claimed that US-Israeli tensions are at a record high, with US President Barack Obama and

They understand what a greenhouse is, how it works, why we call it the greenhouse effect. Cuomo’s Next Mission?

It’s nice to see Governor Cuomo make at this hour of crisis a visit to Jerusalem. He pointedly demurred from a visit with the Palestinian Arabs, saying his mission was to show solidarity with the Jewish state. It is a good, solid rejection of moral equivalency — and makes us wonder whether he’s the man to take on the left-wing of his own party. The fact is that the Obama years are the period in which the Democratic Party has emerged firmly as less sympathetic to Israel than the Republicans. This was well marked by the latest poll from Pew.

One after another, lawsuits were setting them up and courts were knocking them down. Following last year’s Supreme Court ruling that rejected the Defense of Marriage Act as unconstitutional, state and federal courts nationwide have ruled against gay marriage bans from coast to coast. It was a remarkable, uninterrupted streak of success for civil-rights proponents, spanning more than two dozen courts. Yesterday, however, we learned that the streak was broken. For the first time in nearly fourteen months, a state’s ban on same-sex marriage has withstood a constitutional challenge in court. A state judge in Tennessee ruled last week that “neither

Conservatives may be the ones voicing the loudest outrage at the hanging of two gay Iranian men—but not because they’ve suddenly become supporters of LGBT human rights. The tragic hanging of two “sodomites” in Iran may seem, in theory, like an obvious cause for U.S. concern and U.S. action. (Sign a petition! Demand human rights!) But those who want to start the post-mortem on this historic presidency would do well to read Jackson Diehl’s most recent Washington Post column in which he identifies Obama’s hubris as the key element in his undoing.
