Ten quotes: Obama’s journey

President Obama has gone from “yes we can” to “so sue me.” The president’s standoffish remark this week about a Republican lawsuit was a reminder of how much Obama’s rhetoric has changed since his 2008 campaign and its promise to deliver a new kind of politics. These ten Obama quotations illustrate the transformation. 1. July 27, 2004: “There´s not a liberal America and a conservative America. There´s the United States of America.” Obama vaults onto the national stage with a call for unity at the Democratic National Convention in Boston. 2. Feb. 5, 2008: “We know that what began as

´so sue me´, what could you expect from a man whose only ability is to read off his teleprompter, as he drones on as if he was getting to the last pages of a telephone book.
States have to band together to oppose this thug from the gutter.
This ´illegal invasion´ was a long planed decision to divert from the VA scandal, Benghazi and the IRS. He is hoping for riots and major outbreaks of crime.
Since he is not upholding the Constitution, and I assume, that he is not even able to read it, he needs to be impeached. Out with this self serving dumber than dumb liar, we will be able to live with Biden for the remainder.

Zero´s entire life journey was summed up on the other quote from September 9, 2009: "You lie!" Thank you, Joe Wilson, for channeling the intelligent half of America who saw through this sorry poseur.

Zero hasn´t changed, he is still a petty, thin-skinned jerk. Only the rhetoric has changed, since he won´t be running again and won´t be held to account by the media.

This guy will be a horrible President. He has no experience and a questionable allegiance to this country.

To.

I want his rotting carcass to rot in flaming hell for eternity. And I want to watch it every day on a big screen HD TV from heaven, should I be so blessed to get there.

The Emmy red carpet is used to Hollywood royalty, but this year it might be graced by some political royalty as well–President Obama is rumored to be attending the award show tonight. Not long into the red carpet coverage, word began to spread that the president would be attending the night’s festivities. While details on his appearance are still scarce, it is likely tied to his recent Emmy win. On Saturday, August 16, Obama walked away from the Creative Arts Emmys with a statuette for Outstanding Short-Format Live-Action Entertainment Program for his comedic work in Funny or Die’s “Between Two Ferns” video

As Burger King eyes moving its headquarters to Canada to lower its tax bill, a Democratic senator is recommending a boycott of the burger joint. Instead, Sen. "Burger King has always said ´Have it Your Way´; well my way is to support two Ohio companies that haven´t abandoned their country or customers," Brown said in a statement. Following recent territorial gains by jihadists affiliated with the extremist group Islamic State, conservatives have criticized President Barack Obama for a January interview with The New Yorker in which he seemed to dismiss the group as a "jayvee team." In a briefing Monday, White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest rejected this interpretation of the president´s remarks and attempted to clarify them. "It´s important that we don´t sort of shorthand the analogy the president was trying to draw here," Earnest said.

AUSTIN, Texas -- Attorneys for indicted Republican Texas Gov. Rick Perry formally asked a judge Monday to dismiss felony charges alleging that the possible 2016 presidential candidate abused his power with a veto last summer. Her re-election in doubt, North Carolina´s Democratic senator has an uncomfortable decision to make as President Barack Obama appears in her state before a critical audience she´s trying to woo: Veterans. Join in the same camera shot as Obama, who lost North Carolina in 2012 and is unpopular in the state, and Sen. As Michael Brown is laid to rest on Monday, questions remain about the police shooting that took the life of the unarmed African-American teenager some two weeks ago. Was Brown savagely and unjustifiably gunned down by white police Officer Darren Wilson, as some contend? Did Wilson—who reportedly sustained some kind of facial injury during an altercation with Brown—act appropriately in the heat of a confrontation in which Brown reportedly reached for the officer’s gun. Attorney General Eric H. Holder Jr. took the unusual step of travelling to Ferguson to coordinate a Justice Department investigation into the shooting, which was already

Analysis: Hillary Clinton isn’t simply dipping her toes into the 2016 presidential waters; it looks more like she’s sizing up for a somersault – with a full twist – off a diving board. But if she ends up deciding not to jump in, Democrats want an answer sooner rather than later. In the past few months, Clinton has concluded a big book tour with dozens of news interviews; distanced herself (either in small or substantial ways) from her party’s currently unpopular president; and is now heading next month to Iowa, which traditionally holds the first presidential nominating contest.

The Wisconsin Republican was addressing a passage from his new book on CBS’s “Face the Nation” in which he described last year’s push toward a government shutdown — in which House conservatives unsuccessfully tried to defund Obamacare — as a “suicide mission.” The purpose of the passage in the book is to try to unify the party, he said, noting that he held back a bit more at the time with party unity in mind. “I don’t think we can succeed if all we do is
