War on Women: Record Number
Not in Labor Force in June

Breitbart Big Government, by Dr. Susan Berry

Original Article

While Democrats and the abortion industry would have women believe the most important reason to have a job is to get birth control for free, the real “war on women” is the fact that a record number of them were not working at all in June. According to data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), the number of women 16 and older not in the labor force rose to a record high of 55,299,000 in June, says CNSNews. "This means that there were 55,299,000 women 16 and older who not only did not have a job, they did not

I believe there´s a gold mine of votes for Republicans if they take a conservative message into the war. Especially single mothers. Most work. They want their kids to get a good education. A strong free market economy and school choice are important issues to them. They care more about whether their boyfriend can get and keep a job, not whether he can afford to buy condoms. The jobs market and stagnant wages should be the #1 issue when talking to women. Democrats have nothing.

That can happen when a minimum of 300,000 people/week lose their jobs and file for unemployment every week for almost six years. But they tell us unemployment is just barely over 6%. By the time of election 2014 I fully expect to see unemployment less than 6%.

I am so glad I grew up, starting in the 50´s, and starting my work career in 1962. I had fifty good years of working pretty much where I wanted and the bennies were wonderful. Now, not so much.

Secretary of State John Kerry addressed the beheading of Miami native Steven Sotloff this morning, calling the news “a punch to the gut.” “Yesterday, the world bore witness again to the unfathomable brutality of ISIL terrorist murderers when we saw Steven Sotloff, an American journalist who left home in Florida to tell the story of brave people in the Middle East, taken from us in an act of medieval savagery by a coward hiding behind a mask,” Kerry said in a statement, his first remarks since the video emerged Tuesday afternoon. The Affordable Care Act is heading for another near-death experience in the Supreme Court. In July, a divided panel of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit issued a ruling in Halbig v. Burwell that would greatly limit the number of people who are eligible for subsidized health insurance. The problem has to do with how people are connected with insurance providers, how they learn about subsidies, and how they sign up for plans. As Congress originally conceived it, the A.C.A. called for each state to set up its own exchange with a Web site, which most of

In a fresh effort to generate fervor for a far-reaching new global climate agreement, a U.N. agency is releasing videos featuring “imaginary but realistic” weather reports set in 2050, to illustrate the type of extreme conditions it predicts we will face by mid-century. But the first video in the series of 15 to be rolled out over the coming weeks shows some temperatures for 2050 considerably in excess of those projected in the latest major U.N. Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change report (which has itself been dubbed “too alarmist” by some critics.)

GOP Senate candidate Cory Gardner is betting that contraception will get him at least a few votes among Colorado women who´ve bought into the "war on women" meme promoted by the Democratic Party. Gardner has released an ad in which he calls for contraception to be available to women "over the counter" without a doctor´s prescription, "around the clock," he says. Gardner is in the middle of a bruising fight with incumbent Democrat Mark Udall who has been going after Gardner for his past support of what´s called a "personhood" amendment, a divisive proposition that would allow for an unborn

Jimmy Carter left the Southern Baptist Church a few years back, citing its “rigid” views. Muslim views tend to be a whole lot more “rigid.” For instance, Saudi Arabia doesn’t allow Christians to build any churches. Egypt’s Muslim Brotherhood supporters are waging pogroms against Christians. If a Muslim leaves Islam, they are called an apostate and are often marked or death. Rudy Giuliani has plans to change golf. The former mayor, a strategic adviser to the PGA, says he wants to make the game “simpler” by shortening rounds to 12 holes. “We have to make it simpler and easier. Let’s shorten the course and make playing 12 holes instead of 18 holes the norm,” Giuliani declared in a Hamptons magazine cover story with golfer Raymond Floyd. “I’ve played tennis for 20 years, and I’ve never played five sets like the pros do,” he explained. “I’ll play three sets with my pals. So why play 18 holes? That’s what pros do to win tournaments.” Giuliani
